Zong prepaid roaming for Europe and nearby countries runs from Rs 500 plus tax for 1 GB in Azerbaijan to Rs 8,000 plus tax for 5 GB in the United Kingdom, with Turkey, France and Germany in between. The same 5 GB costs Rs 2,000 in Azerbaijan and Rs 8,000 in the UK, a fourfold gap.

Visa approved, ticket booked, and then comes the question of the phone. Without a bundle, roaming data can burn through a balance in minutes. We read Zong's IR bundles page and its International Roaming page on 21 October 2026. Prices are plus tax unless noted.

Azerbaijan is the cheapest and the UK the dearest of the six countries

Zong lists data-only bundles of 1, 3 and 5 GB for each country, valid 15, 30 and 45 days. Azerbaijan is Rs 500, Rs 1,500 and Rs 2,000. Germany and the UK are Rs 1,800 for 1 GB. At 5 GB, France is Rs 4,548, Turkey Rs 6,500, Germany Rs 7,500 and the UK Rs 8,000.

Zong Europe roaming voice, SMS and data pack prices by country

Postpaid users have one Rs 5,000 Europe bundle for 15 countries

Zong's Continental Europe postpaid bundle is Rs 5,000 plus tax for 60 minutes, 60 SMS and 2 GB over 30 days. It lists Albania, Czech Republic, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Turkey, New Zealand, the UK and Switzerland. A separate Rs 5,000 America bundle covers the USA and Canada with 1 GB.

Postpaid roaming also needs a Rs 15,000 security deposit on a Tour de World SIM, according to Zong's page. A prepaid bundle for a short trip is usually the simpler route, and our guide to activating international roaming explains both.

Subscribe at home, because Zong's helplines are closed to roamers

Zong says 310 and 311 do not work while roaming, so buy the bundle before you leave. The roaming hotline is +92-311-111-4747, and from another phone you can call 0092-51-111-222-111.

  1. Dial 310 at home and check that roaming is active.
  2. Choose your country and the days you will stay.
  3. Pick data only if you call home over WhatsApp.
  4. Subscribe before you fly and keep the SMS.
  5. Turn on data roaming after you land.
  6. Watch the balance for the first day.
Steps to buy a Zong Europe roaming bundle before travelling

For a student heading to Britain, a local SIM may suit a year-long stay better, and the costs of the move are in the UK student visa guide. A short visit is covered in the UK visit visa guide. If your phone loses signal abroad, the roaming-not-working fixes help. For calls home from Pakistan to Britain, see the Zong UK calling bundle.
