The Zong Super Card costs Rs 1,700 a month and gives 10GB of internet, 300 minutes to other networks, and unlimited Zong minutes and SMS within a 5,000 fair use limit. Dial *5501# to subscribe, and dial *5501# again to stop it.

That is the price Zong lists as the "consumer price" on its Monthly Super Card page, which we read on 27 October 2026. The card suits someone who talks more than they browse. For data, it is one of the weakest monthly deals Zong sells, and the comparison below shows by how much. You also get the SMS keywords, the rules Zong attaches, and what to do if the bundle is charged twice.

The Zong Super Card gives 10GB and 300 off-net minutes for Rs 1,700

Zong's page lists 10GB, 300 off-net minutes, unlimited Zong minutes and unlimited SMS for one month at Rs 1,700. The unlimited part has a cap: Zong applies fair use of 5,000 SMS and 5,000 Zong minutes.

Zong's disclaimer on the same page says taxes and price may vary based on the subscriber's location. In practice that means Islamabad and Gilgit-Baltistan can see a different amount, because sales tax differs there. The way those taxes work is explained in mobile load tax in Pakistan.

Subscribe with *5501#, *6464# or an SMS to 6464

Dial *5501# or *6464#, or send "Monthly500" to 6464. To stop it, dial *5501# or send "Unsub monthly500" to 6464. The SMS keyword says 500 even though the price is Rs 1,700.

  1. Check that you have at least Rs 1,700 of balance. Zong does not list a lower price for any area.
  2. Dial *5501# and follow the menu, or send "Monthly500" in an SMS to 6464.
  3. Wait for the confirmation SMS and save it.
  4. Check what is left during the month with the code for remaining Zong MBs and minutes.
  5. Set a reminder for day 30. The card does not renew by itself.

The keyword "Monthly500" looks like a leftover from an older version of the bundle, but Zong's FAQ on the page still gives it as a working route. If the SMS fails, use the dial code.

Zong's rules: no auto renewal, no postpaid, and a double charge if you buy twice

Zong's FAQ says the Super Card works nationwide, does not renew by itself, is not for postpaid or MBB users, and charges you again if you subscribe twice. That last rule is the one that costs people money.

  • Nationwide. Zong answers "Yes" to whether the offer is available across Pakistan.
  • No auto renewal. When the month ends, you must subscribe again.
  • Prepaid only. Postpaid users cannot subscribe.
  • Not for MBB devices. Zong's internet devices and data SIMs cannot take it.
  • Charged twice if bought twice. Zong answers "Yes" when asked whether you pay again on a second subscription.

So never dial the code twice "to be sure". If you did, call 310 and ask for a reversal, and keep both confirmation messages. Zong's other numbers and channels are listed in the Zong helpline numbers.

Monthly Pro gives five times the data for Rs 600 more

The Super Card costs Rs 170 for each GB. Zong's Monthly Pro, at Rs 2,300, gives 50GB and 600 off-net minutes. Monthly Social Plus gives 20GB for Rs 750 but only 100 off-net minutes.

We read the prices of four Zong monthly bundles on Zong's own pages on 27 October 2026. The cost per GB is our arithmetic, price divided by GB.

Zong Super Card cost per GB compared with Monthly Social Plus, Monthly Pro and Pro Max Basic

Our view: the Super Card makes sense only if you need a few hundred minutes to other networks and very little data, and you cannot stretch to Rs 2,300. Anyone who watches video or uses WhatsApp calls heavily will run out of 10GB well before the month ends. The bigger bundles are compared in detail in Zong Monthly Pro, Pro Max and Digital Max.

If you have just bought a new Zong SIM, check the new SIM discounts first. Zong's new SIM page lists Monthly Pro Max Plus at Rs 1,500 instead of Rs 2,200, on *9330#, for new SIMs only.

Ufone and Zong both sell a "Super Card", and they differ

Ufone's Super Card is a separate product with its own prices and codes. Do not dial a Ufone code on a Zong SIM. The Zong card is the one on *5501#.

Ufone's range is set out on the Ufone Super Card packages page. We did not re-check Ufone's prices for this article, because Ufone's website returned an error when we tried it on 27 October 2026.

How we verified this

What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.

Last checked 27 October 2026. We read Zong's Monthly Super Card page and its FAQ, and Zong's Monthly Pro, Monthly Pro Max Basic, Monthly Digital Max Basic and New SIM New Discounts pages, all on zong.com.pk. Monthly Social Plus figures come from the "Hot Bundles" box on the Super Card page. Cost per GB is our arithmetic. We did not subscribe to the bundle, so the exact amount taken from balance in each province is not verified.
