Zong Unsubscribe Code: Stop Caller Tunes, Alerts and Bundles in Pakistan
Zong has no single unsubscribe code. Send UNSUB to the service's short code: 2300 for caller tunes, 6226 for alerts. Every Zong stop code and charge listed.

To unsubscribe a Zong service, send "UNSUB" to that service's short code. Caller tunes stop with UNSUB to 2300 or 2400, Missed Call Alerts with UNSUB to 6226, and Caller Name with *254*6#. Zong bundles are different: most do not renew on their own, and the ones on 6464 stop with an "Unsub" SMS to 6464.
Zong has no single stop code that we could find on its site. Each service carries its own. So the job is to find what is charging you, then send the right word to the right number. We read Zong's service and bundle pages on 10 October 2026 and put the stop codes, with their charges, in one place.
Zong stops each service with its own UNSUB code
Every Zong value added service (VAS), meaning a paid extra like a caller tune or an alert, lists its own deactivation step. Most use an SMS with the word UNSUB. A few use a dial code. Send it from the Zong number being charged.
| Zong service | How to stop it | Charge, as Zong lists it |
|---|---|---|
| Dial Tune (caller tune) | Send UNSUB to 2300 | Rs 3 + tax a day, or Rs 25 + tax a month |
| My Tune | Send UNSUB to 2400 | Rs 3 + tax a day, or Rs 25 + tax a month |
| Missed Call Alerts, daily | Send UNSUB to 6226 | Rs 1.78 + tax a day |
| Zong Caller Name | Dial *254*6# or send Unsub to 2545 | Rs 1.50 + tax a day |
| My Status | Send UNSUB to 6009 | Rs 1.5 + tax a day |
| Intro Me | Send UNSUB to 6008 | Rs 1.19 + tax a day, or Rs 30 + tax a month |
| Doosra Number | Send Unsub to 4600, or call 4600 | Rs 1 + tax a day |
| Islamic Portal | Send Unsub to 7867 | Rs 3 + tax a day, or Rs 25 + tax a month |
| Kahani | Send unsub to 6688, or call 6688 and press 7 | Rs 1.30 + tax a day |
| Weatherwalay | Send unsub to 9925 | Rs 6 + tax a day, or Rs 20 + tax a week |
| Cricket services | Send UNSUB to 6660 | Alerts from Rs 2 + tax a day |
| Call Block | Send unsub to 420 | Rs 15 + tax a month |

A caller tune is the usual culprit. Zong says Dial Tune and My Tune are charged separately, Rs 3 + tax a day each. On top of that, each tune you pick has a content charge of Rs 5.95 + tax. Two tune services on one number is about Rs 180 a month before tax, our own sum from Zong's daily rate.
Zong bundles on 6464 stop with an Unsub SMS
Zong's own bundle pages give the stop step inside the FAQ. For the Digital Max bundles, the step is an SMS to 6464 with "Unsub" and the bundle's keyword, or a dial through *6464#. These bundles are not renewed automatically, Zong says.
| Zong bundle | Unsubscribe step | Auto renewal |
|---|---|---|
| Monthly Digital Max Plus | Send "Unsub mdm" to 6464, or dial *6464# | No |
| Monthly Digital Max Basic | Send "Unsub mdmb" to 6464, or dial *6464# | No |
| Weekly Digital Max | Send "Unsub wrs" to 6464, or dial *1601# | No |
Monthly Digital Max Plus is listed at Rs 2,700. Since it does not renew, you do not need to cancel it to avoid next month's charge. Unsubscribing only ends it early. Zong also says you are charged again if you subscribe to the same bundle twice, so check before you dial a code a second time.

For other bundles, open the bundle's own page on zong.com.pk and read its FAQ for the keyword. Monthly bundle codes and prices are listed in subscribing to a Zong monthly package.
Find what is charging you before you send any code
Do not send UNSUB to every number in the table. Find the service first. Zong says the My Zong app shows complete details of calls, SMS, internet, subscribed bundles, VAS and recharge use. That is the quickest way to see an active service by name.
- Open the My Zong app and log in with your Zong number.
- Look at subscribed bundles and VAS, and the usage history.
- Match each charge to a service in the table above.
- Send that service's UNSUB message, or dial its code.
- Check the app again the next day to confirm the charge stopped.

Dialling *102# shows bundle usage for 10 paisa plus tax, Zong says. Remaining MBs and minutes are covered in checking remaining Zong MBs. If you cannot tell what a charge is, Zong's 310 line takes SMS questions, as explained in verified telecom helplines.
Balance Save stops the data charge after a bundle ends
Many "deductions" are not services at all. When a Zong data bundle runs out, data is charged at Rs 4 + tax per MB by default, Zong says. A few minutes of video at that rate can take most of a small balance.
PTA's advice of 19 March 2026 is to dial *4004# on Zong for the free Balance Save service. It blocks pay-as-you-go internet once your bundle ends. The same service on Jazz, Ufone and Telenor is set out in balance save codes for every network.
PTA says no Zong service can start without your OTP or code
PTA's notice of 3 March 2026, which Zong carries on its own site, says no VAS can be activated without your clear consent. Activation needs a one time password (OTP) or a code you dialled. If you did neither, PTA calls it unauthorised.
Stop the service first, then ask Zong for a refund of the charges and keep the complaint number. If Zong does not settle it, PTA says to complain through its Complaint Management System on pta.gov.pk or the CMS app. The full route is in filing a telecom complaint with PTA.
Common questions
What is the Zong unsubscribe code?
There is no single one. Each service has its own, such as UNSUB to 2300 for Dial Tune and *254*6# for Caller Name. Bundles on 6464 stop with an "Unsub" SMS and keyword to 6464.
How do I stop my Zong caller tune?
Send UNSUB to 2300 for Dial Tune, or UNSUB to 2400 for My Tune. Zong charges each at Rs 3 + tax a day, so stop both if both are active.
Do Zong monthly bundles renew automatically?
The Digital Max bundles we checked do not, Zong says. They end at expiry unless you subscribe again.
Why does Zong cut my balance when I have no package?
Data without a bundle costs Rs 4 + tax per MB, Zong says. Turn on Balance Save with *4004#, and check My Zong for any daily service.
Can I get a refund for a Zong service I never activated?
Ask Zong first, then PTA. PTA says no service can start without your OTP or a code you dialled, so an activation without either is unauthorised.
How we verified this
What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.
We checked on 10 October 2026. Stop codes and charges are from each service's page under zong.com.pk/vas. Bundle stop steps, renewal answers and the Rs 2,700 price are from the Digital Max bundle pages on zong.com.pk. The *102# charge and Rs 4 per MB default rate are from Zong's FAQs. The *4004# code is from PTA's advice of 19 March 2026, and the consent rule from PTA's notice of 3 March 2026 as published on Zong's public awareness page. We did not send any SMS or dial any code ourselves.
