To pay a 1Bill invoice or voucher in Pakistan, open any bank app, JazzCash or Easypaisa, choose the 1Bill or "Invoice/Voucher" payment option, and enter the full number printed on your voucher. That number starts with the biller's prefix, so the app knows who you are paying. If your bill shows only a consumer number, the prefix list below tells you which biller to pick.

1Bill is the bill payment service of 1LINK, the company that runs Pakistan's shared ATM and IBFT network. We read the 1Bill page on 1LINK's site and its biller list dated September 2026 on 1 November 2026. The list runs to thousands of billers, from airlines to schools.

A 1Bill number is a biller prefix plus your bill number

1LINK says 1Bill attaches a unique prefix to your customer ID, consumer number or bill number. That prefix removes the need to pick the biller from a long drop-down menu. You type one number, and the app finds the biller and the amount.

1LINK lists four kinds of 1Bill payment:

  • Invoice or fixed payments: a set amount, such as a fee voucher or a challan.
  • Top-up or variable payments: you choose the amount, such as a wallet or tag top-up.
  • Credit card payments: paying a card bill from another bank.
  • Packages and subscriptions: bundles sold through 1Bill.

Almost every biller in the September 2026 list is marked "Invoice and Voucher". So for most people, 1Bill simply means "pay this voucher number".

How to pay a 1Bill voucher in a bank app or wallet

The steps are almost the same in every app. Find the 1Bill or invoice option under Bill Payments, type the voucher number, check the name and amount, and confirm with your PIN. Menu names differ, so look for "1Bill", "Invoice" or "Voucher Payment".

  1. Open your bank app, JazzCash, Easypaisa or another wallet.
  2. Go to Bill Payments, then 1Bill, Invoice or Voucher.
  3. Type the full voucher number, including the prefix if the voucher shows one.
  4. Check that the biller name and amount on screen match your voucher.
  5. Confirm with your PIN or OTP and save the receipt.

You can also pay over the counter. 1LINK says member banks can collect 1Bill payments at their branch counters. That helps if you have no app or the amount is above your wallet limit.

The fee depends on your app, not on 1LINK's list. Zindigi, for example, charges Rs 5 for a utility bill in its app, according to its own schedule. Many bank apps charge nothing. If money leaves your account but the bill shows unpaid, it helps to know who fixes a failed 1LINK payment.

1Bill prefixes for electricity, gas and water bills

1LINK's September 2026 list gives each utility its own biller ID. Electricity companies such as LESCO, MEPCO, GEPCO and PESCO use codes like LESCO001 and MEPCO001. K-Electric is KESC0001, SNGPL is SNGPL001 and SSGC is SSGC0001.

In most apps you will see these billers by name, so you rarely type the ID. It matters when an app has only a single 1Bill box. For Karachi bills, the K-Electric bill payment routes and SSGC bill payment options list every channel.

Mobile networks, airlines and others also take 1Bill

Each mobile network has separate prepaid and postpaid IDs. Jazz prepaid is MBLINK01, Zong prepaid ZONG0001, Ufone prepaid UFONE001 and Telenor prepaid TELNOR01. PIA, Airblue, AirSial and Fly Jinnah take ticket vouchers through 1Bill too.

Many private billers share one ID. Dozens of schools and funds in the list sit under IN100047 or IN100027, which belong to payment companies that collect for them. So never guess a prefix from another biller's voucher. Copy the number printed on your own voucher.

Loan and fee vouchers follow the same pattern. The HBFC loan instalment and the job test fee vouchers both work this way.

Government PSIDs go through 1Bill as well

Government fees use a PSID, a payment slip ID, which is also paid through 1Bill. The list shows FBR as PRAL0001 and the Government of the Punjab as GOP00001. You pay these the same way: pick 1Bill or the named government biller and enter the PSID.

The passport office is a useful example. Its own FAQ tells payers to type the six-digit prefix 999999 in front of the 17-digit PSID when paying through 1Bill. The 1LINK list writes the same biller as IN999999. That suggests the "IN" in the list marks the invoice type and is not typed. Since September 2026 the passport office has also asked people to pay the passport fee by Raast QR.

Common questions

What is 1Bill in Pakistan?

1Bill is 1LINK's bill payment service. It lets banks and wallets collect payments for utilities, telecom companies, government bodies and schools using one voucher number.

How do I pay a 1Bill invoice in JazzCash or Easypaisa?

Open Bill Payments, choose 1Bill or Invoice/Voucher, type the full voucher number, check the name and amount, then confirm with your PIN.

What is a 1Bill prefix?

It is the biller's code placed in front of your consumer or bill number. It tells the app which company or office the payment is for.

Is there a charge for 1Bill payment?

1LINK does not publish a customer fee. Your bank or wallet sets it. Zindigi charges Rs 5 for a utility bill, and many bank apps charge nothing.

Can I pay a 1Bill voucher at a bank branch?

Yes. 1LINK says member banks can collect 1Bill payments over the counter, so you can pay with cash at a branch.

My 1Bill payment went through but the bill still shows unpaid. What now?

Keep the receipt with its transaction ID and complain to your own bank or wallet first. It traces the payment through 1LINK to the biller.

How we verified this

What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.

We read 1LINK's 1Bill product page and its "1BILL Biller List LTD Sept 2026" PDF on 1 November 2026. The PDF's tables do not copy cleanly, so we checked every ID above in two different text extractions. We read the Zindigi fee in its October to December 2026 schedule the same day. The passport prefix comes from the passport office FAQ cited on our linked pages. We did not make a 1Bill payment, so app menu names and fees in each app are not verified, and 1LINK may add or change billers after September 2026.
