You can pay an SSGC gas bill online through Easypaisa, JazzCash or UPaisa, through internet banking at 17 banks, at the ATMs of 19 banks, or by credit card, as well as at bank branches and post offices. SSGC names all of these in its own FAQ and on its Bill Payment Options page. Below is the full list by channel, the 10% late charge you avoid, and what to do when a paid bill still shows as unpaid.

Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) supplies gas in Sindh and Balochistan, and its bill is due on the date printed on it. Miss it and SSGC can add 10% to the current bill. Leave an old bill unpaid and it can cut the supply even before the new due date. We read SSGC's FAQ and its Bill Payment Options page on 25 October 2026.

SSGC accepts wallets, banks, ATMs, cards and post offices

SSGC's FAQ lists four ways to pay: bank branches and post offices; bank ATMs, online banking and debit or credit cards; the Easypaisa, JazzCash and UPaisa apps; and an SSGC app that it says is still being built. The payment options page adds kiosks, IVR phone payment and doorstep cheque collection.

Some logos on the payment options page are older brand names, such as Mobicash and Timepey, and their image files sit in 2013 upload folders. Treat that part of the page as dated. The FAQ's shorter list, with Easypaisa, JazzCash and UPaisa, is the more current of the two.

Seventeen banks take SSGC bills through internet banking

SSGC's payment options page shows 17 banks under internet and online banking. The ATM list has the same banks plus Habib Metro Bank and Sindh Bank, which makes 19 banks whose ATMs SSGC lists.

National Bank does not appear on the page's bank logos, though bank branch counters in general are in the FAQ. If your bank is missing, its app may still carry SSGC under gas bills. Just keep the receipt.

Pay by Easypaisa or JazzCash with the customer number

In a wallet or bank app, open bill payments, choose gas, then SSGC, and enter the customer number from your bill. The app should show the name and amount before you confirm. If they do not match your bill, stop and check the number.

Follow these steps for any app:

  1. Find the customer number on your SSGC bill.
  2. Open Easypaisa, JazzCash, UPaisa or your bank app.
  3. Go to bill payments, then gas, then SSGC.
  4. Enter the customer number and check the name and amount.
  5. Pay and save the transaction ID or screenshot.

If you have lost the bill, view or print it first on viewbill.ssgc.com.pk, as described in checking your Sui gas bill online. Wallet payments for other utilities follow the same pattern, set out in paying utility bills with Easypaisa or JazzCash.

Five steps to pay an SSGC gas bill in Easypaisa, JazzCash or a bank app

A late domestic bill costs 10% more

SSGC's FAQ says a home that misses the due date pays a late payment surcharge of 10% of the current bill. Commercial and industrial customers pay 1.5% a month for the first year and 2% a month after that, on the amount outstanding.

On a Rs 4,000 winter bill, 10% is Rs 400, which is our arithmetic from SSGC's rate. SSGC adds a warning that matters more in winter. The due date applies only to the current bill. If an earlier bill is unpaid, the supply can be cut at any time. What each charge on the bill means is in reading your SSGC gas bill.

A large winter bill can sometimes be split. The official route is in paying a gas bill in instalments. To get the bill by email before the due date, use SSGC's e-bill registration.

If you have paid and the gas is still off, SSGC's FAQ says to take a copy of the paid bill to any Customer Facilitation Centre (CFC) helpdesk for restoration. For a payment that does not show, call 1199 with the transaction ID.

The nearest centre is in SSGC's 23 customer facilitation centres. If the supply was cut for arrears, the restore steps are in restoring a disconnected gas connection, and a payment complaint can also go in through SSGC's online complaint form.

How we verified this

What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.

We read SSGC's FAQ and its Bill Payment Options page on ssgc.com.pk on 25 October 2026. The FAQ gave the payment channels, the 10% domestic surcharge, the commercial rates of 1.5% and 2% a month, the rule on earlier unpaid bills and the paid bill copy for restoration. The bank lists come from the logos on the payment options page, which we counted ourselves. We did not make a test payment, and SSGC does not publish a convenience fee for wallets, so we have not stated one. The Rs 400 example is our arithmetic.
