How Women Graduates of PSIC Incubation Centres Can Get a Rs 500,000 Interest-Free Loan in Punjab
PSIC gives women who graduated from its incubation centres up to Rs 500,000 interest free over 3 years. Check the NTN rule, guarantor, 2% fee and how to apply.

Short answer: The Punjab Small Industries Corporation (PSIC) lends up to Rs 500,000 interest free to women who graduated from its Women Business Incubation Centres (WBICs). Repayment is in equal monthly instalments over up to 3 years, with no grace period and a 2% fee up front. You must be 21 to 55, hold a Punjab domicile, and be a tax filer with an NTN.
A woman who finished a PSIC incubation course often has a business idea and a small shop, but no cash to grow. PSIC keeps a separate loan for exactly this group. It is different from the artisan loan, and the rules are stricter in two places: the NTN and the completion certificate.
We read the scheme page on the PSIC website on 12 October 2026. It is listed under Projects with the status "Ongoing". We did not apply, and we cannot say how many loans PSIC has already issued under it.
What the WBIC graduate loan gives you
It gives a graduate of a PSIC Women Business Incubation Centre up to Rs 500,000, interest free, to set up, keep running or expand her business. PSIC calls it a revolving scheme, so repayments feed the next loan.
PSIC states a fund of Rs 50 million. It expects about 143 direct beneficiaries and around 300 through the revolving mechanism. These are PSIC's own targets.
| Item | What PSIC's page says |
|---|---|
| Loan amount | Up to Rs 500,000 |
| Markup | Interest free |
| Repayment | Up to 3 years, equal monthly instalments, no grace period |
| Processing fee | 2% of the loan, recovered before disbursement |
| Who can apply | Women who graduated from a PSIC WBIC, including earlier batches |
| Fund | Rs 50 million |

Who is eligible
You must be a woman, a Punjab resident on your CNIC, aged 21 to 55, a graduate of a PSIC WBIC with a completion certificate, and the owner of a working business or start-up. You also need an NTN as a tax filer and a clean credit record.
- You are a graduated incubate of a PSIC Women Business Incubation Centre. Earlier batches are included.
- You hold a valid completion certificate issued by PSIC or the WBIC.
- Your business is operational, or it is the start-up you built during incubation.
- You are between 21 and 55 years old and hold a Punjab domicile.
- You have a valid CNIC and an NTN, and you are a tax filer with the FBR.
- Your e-CIB credit history is clean, and you are not a defaulter on any PSIC or bank loan.
- You own or rent your business premises, if the business already exists.
If you do not have an NTN yet, get one first. Our guide on how to verify an NTN online with the FBR shows how to confirm your number once you have it.
Guarantee, cheques and the fee
You need one guarantor who is a regular government employee in BS-11 or above, and two blank signed and undated cheques. PSIC takes the 2% fee before it pays you, so on Rs 500,000 that is Rs 10,000.
The guarantor needs at least 3 years of service and at least 5 years of service left. One employee can stand guarantee for only one active loan at a time. Talk to the guarantor before you fill the form.
Over 36 months, an equal repayment of Rs 500,000 comes to about Rs 13,889 a month. This is our own sum from the published terms and it ignores any other charge.
How to apply
Download the form from the scheme page, complete it with your certificate and NTN, collect the guarantee, and submit the file to PSIC through your regional office. PSIC's own page shows only the form, not a full document list, so confirm the list with the office.
- Go to psic.punjab.gov.pk and open Projects.
- Open "Interest-Free Loan Scheme for Graduated Incubates of WBICs".
- Download the application form from the page.
- Attach your CNIC, WBIC completion certificate, NTN proof and proof of your business premises.
- Get the guarantee signed by an eligible government employee.
- Submit the file at the PSIC office and ask for a receipt or a file number.

The PSIC head office is at 23-A Davis Road, PSIC House, Lahore, with the listed number 042-992000439.
Which PSIC loan fits you
PSIC lists four loan schemes on its home page. The right one depends on whether you are an artisan, a WBIC graduate or a larger business. Compare the main limits before you choose.
| Scheme | Limit | Key condition |
|---|---|---|
| WBIC graduate loan | Up to Rs 500,000 | Woman, WBIC completion certificate, NTN |
| Artisan loan | Up to Rs 500,000 | Registered with PSIC through the geo-tagging app |
| Asaan Karobar Finance | Rs 1 million to Rs 30 million | Age 25 to 55, NTN, business premises |
| Asaan Karobar Card | Up to Rs 1 million | Digital card, annual card fee Rs 25,000 plus FED |

If you are an artisan and not a WBIC graduate, read our guide on the PSIC artisan loan. For the larger schemes, our Asaan Karobar guide covers the details. Another option for small borrowers is the Akhuwat interest-free loan.
Reported Rs 500 million scheme: not yet on the page
Press reports said the PSIC board approved a Rs 500 million interest-free scheme for women entrepreneurs and artisans on 2 September 2026, with loans reported from Rs 500,000 to Rs 10 million. PSIC's WBIC page still says up to Rs 500,000 and a Rs 50 million fund. We could not tell whether the reported scheme is a new one or a change to these pages. Ask the PSIC office which terms apply to you on the day.
Common questions

Do I need an NTN?
Yes. The page asks for a valid CNIC and an NTN, and for you to be a tax filer with the FBR.
Is there a grace period before the first instalment?
No. PSIC's page says there is no grace period, and repayment is in equal monthly instalments over up to 3 years.
How much is the processing fee?
It is 2% of the loan, recovered before disbursement. On Rs 500,000 that is Rs 10,000.
Who can be my guarantor?
A regular government employee in BS-11 or above, with at least 3 years of service and at least 5 years remaining. He or she can guarantee only one active loan at a time.
Is there a closing date?
We saw no closing date on the page, only the status "Ongoing". Ask the PSIC office whether funds are still open.
How we verified this
What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.
We read the PSIC Projects page and the WBIC scheme page at psic.punjab.gov.pk on 12 October 2026. We did not read an application deadline. The Rs 500 million figure comes from press reports that we could not match to a PSIC page.
