The main UCAS deadline for 2027 entry to UK undergraduate courses is 13 January 2027 at 18:00 UK time. Oxford, Cambridge and most medicine, dentistry and veterinary courses use 15 October 2026 at 18:00 UK time. Applications opened on 12 May 2026, and you need a reference before you can send yours.
Pakistani students often learn the UCAS dates from an agent, and the dates get muddled. We opened the UCAS dates and deadlines page on 15 October 2026 and copied the 2027 entry timeline below. All times are UK time. Pakistan is four hours ahead of UK time until the UK clocks go back on 25 October 2026, and five hours ahead after that.
The main deadline is 13 January 2027 at 18:00 UK time
UCAS calls 13 January 2027 the equal consideration date for most undergraduate courses. Applications that reach UCAS by 18:00 UK time that day are treated equally, whatever date you sent them. For a Pakistani student, 18:00 in the UK is 23:00 in Pakistan.
The deadline in Pakistani time moves after 25 October 2026, because the UK clocks go back. In January, the UK is on winter time, so 18:00 UK time equals 23:00 Pakistan time. That conversion is our own arithmetic, not a UCAS figure. Do not plan to send your form in the last hour.
Oxford, Cambridge, medicine, dentistry and veterinary courses use 15 October
The earlier date is 15 October 2026 at 18:00 UK time. It applies to Oxford, Cambridge, and most courses in medicine, dentistry, and veterinary medicine or science. If you aim for one of these, the date is today or has just passed.
In Pakistan, 18:00 UK time on 15 October is 22:00, by our arithmetic. Check each course page for its own deadline, because UCAS says some courses differ and you can add choices with a different deadline later. You can hold only five choices in total. A student who missed 15 October can still apply to other courses by 13 January.

International students have no fixed date, but courses can fill
UCAS gives no separate deadline for international applicants. It says many universities and colleges keep accepting international applications later in the year, closer to the course start. The safe route is still to use the January date for popular courses.
Do not read that as permission to wait. Popular courses may fill, and visa work also takes weeks. If your offer arrives in spring, you still need a study visa before travel, so the later you apply, the tighter the schedule gets.
Start the English test, equivalence and visa funds early
An offer from a UK university usually depends on exam results and an English test, and the visa then needs money in the bank. Each of these takes weeks in Pakistan, so work on them alongside the UCAS form.

Follow this order from account to offer
Register in the UCAS Hub, build the application, ask a referee for your reference, then send it. UCAS does not accept the form without a reference. Ask your referee early, as the page warns that independent applicants should not wait.

- Search 2027 entry courses and note each course deadline.
- Fill in your education, personal statement and choices, up to five.
- Ask your referee to complete the reference well before the date.
- Send the completed application to UCAS before 18:00 UK time on the deadline.
- Track offers, then accept your firm and insurance choices when asked.
- Book your English test and gather visa funds once an offer arrives.
