They include 30 corporal posts, 5 assistant sub inspector (ASI) posts and 6 corporal drivers, plus 28 trade and support posts. Written and physical tests will be held in Gwadar, Quetta and Turbat.
On 28 September 2026 ASF's own recruitment portal said "Currently, No Jobs Available". These 69 posts, posted on 28 October 2026 under the federal "Balochistan Employment Initiative", are the first ASF intake we have seen open since then. We read all 15 ASF listings on 31 October 2026.

The "open to" column is the gender field on each listing. The corporal and ASI posts are the ones most people will want: uniformed, regular and with a clear grade. They also carry the physical standard below.
Corporal and ASI candidates must meet a height and chest standard
The corporal, corporal driver and ASI listings set the same physical standard. Men must be 5 feet 6 inches (168 cm) and women 5 feet 2 inches (157 cm). Men need at least 48.1 kg and a chest of 32¾ inches expanding to 34¾. Women need at least 45 kg.
- Height: men 5 ft 6 in, women 5 ft 2 in.
- Weight: men 48.1 kg (106 lb), women 45 kg (99.2 lb).
- Chest, men only: 32¾ inches, expanding to 34¾ inches.
Measure yourself before you apply. Height is checked on the day, and a candidate an inch short does not get a second look.
The age limit is 30, with extra years for Balochistan
Every ASF listing puts the age limit at 18 to 30 years, "including 5 years General Age Relaxation". It then adds that Balochistan domicile holders get "5 years instead of 3 years upper age relaxation" for this recruitment only. Armed forces, government servants, disabled candidates and children of deceased employees keep their usual relaxations.
Read literally, the Balochistan line could take some candidates past 30, but the portal card for each ASF post still shows a maximum of 30. The listing does not show the arithmetic. If you are between 30 and 35, apply before the deadline and ask ASF to confirm, using the email on the listing, fro@asf.gov.pk. Keep proof of any relaxation you claim, such as a domicile certificate or an NOC.

How we verified this
What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.
Last checked on 31 October 2026, Pakistan time. We read all 15 ASF listings in the Balochistan Jobs section of the National Jobs Portal, posted on 28 October 2026, for seats, grades, qualifications, gender, test cities, the physical standard, the age wording and the 11 November last date. The fee rule is from the portal's FAQ page. The September status of joinasf.gov.pk is from our own check on 28 September 2026. We did not find a test date or pay figure, could not confirm how the Balochistan relaxation is counted against the 30 year card limit, and did not apply.
