ASF Jobs 2026: No Posts Open Now, How to Apply Online When They Are

No ASF jobs are open right now. On 28 September 2026 the Airports Security Force's recruitment portal, joinasf.gov.pk, said "Currently, No Jobs Available", and its 2025 recruitment window showed "Applications Closed". When posts do open, you apply online only, on that portal.

That matters because ASF job adverts keep circulating on social media between real intakes. If the portal says no jobs, a form or fee request elsewhere is not an ASF recruitment.

We read the portal's home page, its online registration guidelines and the recruitment pages on asf.gov.pk on 28 September 2026. We did not create an account, because there was nothing to apply for.

ASF recruitment status in September 2026

ASF recruitment is closed. The portal's jobs box reads "Currently, No Jobs Available", and its ASF Recruitment 2025 notice says "Sorry, We are no longer accepting new applications". The test slip search says slips "will be uploaded soon".

The Airports Security Force is a department of the Ministry of Defence, set up in 1976 under the Airports Security Force Act 1975. Its site says it guards 25 operational airports, 12 international and 13 domestic. That is the job: screening passengers, bags, cargo and vehicles at civil airports.

The portal still keeps its candidate tools live. You can download a written test slip, an interview slip or a physical and medical slip with your CNIC or roll number, and check a reason for rejection. Those serve people from past rounds, not new applicants.

ASF posts, grades and eligibility

The ASF recruitment page lists four main posts: Assistant Director in BPS-17, Inspector in BPS-16, Assistant Sub Inspector in BPS-11 and Corporal in BPS-07. Each has its own education and age limit, and all share one physical standard.

ASF says the government allows up to 5 years of relaxation in the upper age limit. You must prove any relaxation at interview, with an NOC, a disability certificate, a death office order, a domicile or a minority certificate, depending on the ground. Men and women can both apply for ASI and Corporal.

The registration guidelines also name technical and driver posts that appear in some adverts: Lab Attendant, Medical Attendant, Compounder, Corporal Driver and MT Driver. These need a diploma or certificate in the field, sometimes two years of experience, and for drivers a valid driving licence.

ASF height, weight and chest standard

Every ASF post on the recruitment page carries the same physical standard. Men must be at least 5 feet 6 inches tall and women 5 feet 2 inches. Men also need a chest of 32¾ inches that expands to 34¾ inches.

• Height: men 5 ft 6 in (168 cm), women 5 ft 2 in (157 cm).
• Weight: men at least 48.1 kg (106 lb), women at least 45 kg (99.2 lb).
• Chest, men only: 32¾ inches, expanding to 34¾ inches.
• Disability: the guidelines say disabled candidates are not eligible for uniform posts.

Measure yourself honestly before you apply. Height is checked at the physical test, and nobody can talk you past it.

How ASF advertises and selects

ASF uses two routes. Assistant Director and Inspector posts go through the Federal Public Service Commission, which advertises, tests and interviews. ASI and Corporal posts are advertised by Headquarters ASF and filled through physical, IQ and written tests at designated airports.

For the two officer grades, the FPSC holds an aptitude test and then interviews eligible candidates. The competent authority issues appointment letters on the FPSC's recommendation. So watch the FPSC portal, used for exams such as CSS 2027, for Assistant Director and Inspector posts.

For ASI and Corporal, the steps on asf.gov.pk run like this:

• Headquarters ASF announces the vacant posts.
• Physical, IQ and written tests are held at designated airports.
• A Departmental Selection Committee draws up a merit list under the government quota.
• The Director General ASF orders appointments on the committee's recommendation.

The portal also runs interview and physical and medical slip downloads, so those stages follow the written test. The site reports passing out parades of its Basic Aviation Security Courses at the ASF Academy in Karachi.

How to apply on joinasf.gov.pk when posts open

Applications are online only, and ASF says manual or hard copy forms are not accepted. You sign up with your CNIC and email, fill one registration form, and apply only to posts the portal shows you as eligible for. Then you print a provisional registration slip.

1. Read the advertisement and check qualification, age, gender, domicile and experience for the post.
2. On joinasf.gov.pk press Apply Online. Sign up with your CNIC, CNIC expiry date, email and a password of at least 8 characters.
3. Upload a passport-size photo and the front of your CNIC, each under 30 KB. Pick a test centre, which cannot be changed later.
4. Enter your domicile, personal details, highest completed degree, and any diploma or experience the post needs.
5. Press Apply Now, tick the eligible posts, preview, agree to the affirmation and submit. Download and save the registration slip.

The details catch people out. Your name and date of birth must match your Matric certificate and your CNIC. Only your own domicile is accepted, so keep your domicile certificate at hand for its issue date. Do not give a mobile number ported from another network, and give a second contact number that is different.

Enter your highest degree only. The guidelines warn that a candidate with Intermediate who enters Matric will not see ASI posts. Your CNIC and email can be used for one account only, and nothing can be changed after you submit.

ASF also warns against leaving the form to a computer shop. Operators rush, and a wrong CNIC digit can get a form rejected or a candidate disqualified from the test. If you get help, check every entry yourself.

ASF application fee and fake job adverts

Neither asf.gov.pk nor the portal's guidelines publish a fee for ASF posts, so any fee must come from the advertisement for that round. Treat a demand for money outside that advert, or while the portal says no jobs, as a scam.

• ASF takes applications only on joinasf.gov.pk. Look for .gov.pk.
• No job is open while the portal says "No Jobs Available".
• Nobody can buy you a place on the merit list. It is set by a selection committee under quota.
• Assistant Director and Inspector posts come through the FPSC, not an agent.
