How to Watch Pakistan at the Asian Games 2026, Schedule in PKT

You can watch the 2026 Asian Games in Pakistan on PTV Sports, a free-to-air TV channel, and on Jazz's Tamasha app, which gives non-subscribers 1GB of free streaming data a day. Both are reported as the rights holders, but neither confirms it on its own website. The official results site is free and confirmed.

Pakistan's next big events are the men's cricket quarter-final against Hong Kong, China on Monday 28 September at 5:00 am PKT, hockey against Oman at 11:00 am, and Arshad Nadeem's javelin final at 4:15 pm the same day.

We read the official Asian Games results system at results.asiangames2026.org again on 26 September 2026, and Jazz's own Tamasha page the same day. Every time below is Pakistan Standard Time, converted from the Japan time the organisers publish. Japan runs four hours ahead of us.

The Asian Games are Asia's biggest multi-sport event, held in Japan this year

The Asian Games are a multi-sport competition for Asian countries, run by the Olympic Council of Asia. The 20th edition runs in Aichi and Nagoya, Japan, from 19 September to 4 October 2026. Pakistan entered athletes in 22 sports.

If you searched for the "ASEAN Games", you are probably looking for football. Pakistan's men's football team is playing in the FIFA ASEAN Cup in Indonesia at the same time, from 24 September to 5 October 2026, and its fixtures and viewing options are in how to watch Pakistan in the FIFA ASEAN Cup. Pakistan's football team is not part of the Asian Games.

Pakistan's biggest squads in Japan are hockey with 19 men, cricket with 15 men and 14 women, and kabaddi with 12 men. The Olympic Council of Asia links to the official results system, which is where every fixture on this page comes from.

Pakistan have four bronze medals so far

The official medal standings on 26 September put Pakistan joint 32nd with four bronze medals, no gold and no silver. Asim Khan won bronze in mixed martial arts on 21 September, the women's cricket team won bronze on 22 September, and squash players Noor Zaman and Muhammad Irfan each won bronze on 26 September.

The hockey team won its first three pool games, then lost 5-4 to Malaysia on 26 September. Kabaddi went out before the semi-finals, and Pakistan's boxers, fencers and table tennis players are out. The best remaining gold chances are the javelin and hockey, and the medal round-up from 25 September has the earlier results in detail.

PTV Sports and Tamasha are the legal ways to watch, and neither confirms it on its own site

PTV Sports is reported to hold the television rights in Pakistan, and Tamasha, Jazz's streaming app, the digital rights. We tried to confirm both on 23 and 26 September 2026 and found no announcement on either company's own website. Treat both as reported, not settled.

Here is what we found. The PTV website refused our requests on both days, and the domain ptvsports.com.pk is a parked page with a "this website is for sale" notice. Jazz's media centre carries no Asian Games press release, and the Tamasha website mentions live cricket and TV channels but not these Games.

The Tamasha claim comes from a Jazz statement quoted in the Pakistani press on 17 September 2026, attributed to Ali Fahd, President of Jazz Lifestyle Ventures. It may well be right. It is just not a page Jazz publishes itself.

So check the PTV Sports channel listing on the morning of the match before you assume it is on. On television, PTV Sports costs nothing beyond your cable or dish.

What Tamasha costs, from Jazz's own page

Jazz says Tamasha has free content and "exclusive paid content". Its packages unlock both. Jazz does not say which of the two the Asian Games sit in, so open the app before you pay.

Two catches. Every package renews automatically until you unsubscribe in the app. And once the Tamasha streaming data runs out, Jazz charges your normal data package or base rate. For the eight days left of the Games, the PKR 50 weekly offer is the cheapest way to cover several full sessions.

If you stream on mobile data, it is worth knowing how to check remaining Jazz MBs before a 60 minute hockey match empties the bundle in the third quarter. If you are on another network, compare the 5G packages in Pakistan and pick one with enough volume for a full session.

Pakistan's remaining fixtures run to 3 October

The table below lists every Pakistan event still to come, read from the official results system on 26 September 2026. Times are Pakistan Standard Time. Knockout rounds happen only if Pakistan qualify, and the organisers can move sessions.

Monday is the day to clear. The cricket team enters straight at the quarter-final, so it plays Hong Kong once and is then either in Thursday's semi-final or out. The javelin final at 4:15 pm is the one Pakistani medal event at an easy hour. When we checked, the official system had not yet published the javelin qualification results or the final's start list.

The official results site is free and gives you the score faster than TV

If you cannot find a match on television, you can still follow it live. The organisers run a public results system with no login, no subscription and no block that we could detect from Pakistan on 26 September.

1. Open results.asiangames2026.org in any browser.
2. Choose Schedules and Results, then pick the day you want.
3. Filter by sport, or open the medal standings and select Pakistan.
4. Read the status field. Scheduled means it has not started, Official means the result is final.
5. Cross-check Team Pakistan's daily list on the Pakistan Olympic Association site.

This is how we built the fixture table. It updates during play and carries start lists, so you can see who is actually entered before a session begins.

Viewers outside Pakistan need their own country's rights holder

Rights are sold country by country, so the answer depends on where you are, not where you are from. Two overseas broadcasters are confirmed publicly. Sony Pictures Networks holds India and the subcontinent, on Sony Sports Network and SonyLIV. TBS Television is the host broadcaster in Japan.

In the Gulf, Britain and North America, check your usual sports provider's schedule. Many Pakistani households abroad already pay for a package that carries these Games, and a second subscription for eight days is rarely worth it.

Free sports streaming sites are the wrong answer, and we will not list any

Search results for any Asian Games fixture fill up with pages promising a free live stream. Most are unlicensed. They carry malware advertising, collect card details on fake sign-up forms, and cut out mid match.

The legal options in Pakistan are PTV Sports on television and, if the reported deal holds, Tamasha on a phone. If neither carries the match you want, the free official results feed gives you the score, and highlights appear afterwards on the Games' own channels. Anything else is somebody else's feed being passed on without permission.

Paying for something legitimate is also cheaper than it looks. Compare the monthly price of the streaming services in Pakistan with a single card fraud on a fake payment page, and the sums are not close.

Schedules move, so check again the morning of the match

Everything above was read on 26 September 2026. Multi-sport Games run late, sessions get merged, and a rain delay in the cricket pushes everything after it.

Confirm the start time on the official results site before you set an alarm. The hockey and cricket semi-finals and medal matches only involve Pakistan if they win their way there.

How we verified this

What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.

Refreshed on 26 September 2026. Fixtures, the Hong Kong quarter-final draw, the squash team opponents, the medal standings and Pakistan's medal list are read in the official Asian Games results system at results.asiangames2026.org, linked from the Olympic Council of Asia. Tamasha prices, data allowances, the free and paid content split and the auto-renewal term are read on Jazz's own Tamasha page at jazz.com.pk/mobile-apps/tamasha. The PTV and Tamasha rights are reported, not confirmed: PTV's website refused automated requests on 23 and 26 September, and neither Jazz's media centre nor the Tamasha website carried an Asian Games announcement. Sony Pictures Networks and TBS Television are publicly announced overseas broadcasters. Japan time is converted to Pakistan time by subtracting four hours.
