How to Watch Pakistan at the Asian Games 2026, Schedule in PKT

The 20th Asian Games are running right now in Aichi and Nagoya, Japan, from 19 September to 4 October 2026. Pakistan's men have one medal so far, a bronze for Asim Khan in mixed martial arts. Hockey plays China on Thursday 24 September at 3:00 pm PKT, and the men's cricket team does not play until 28 September at 5:00 am PKT.

There is no free legal live stream of these Games in Pakistan. That is the honest starting point, and the rest of this page works around it.

We read the official Asian Games results system at results.asiangames2026.org on 23 September 2026 and pulled out every fixture with Pakistan in it. Every time below is Pakistan Standard Time, converted from the Japan time the organisers publish. Japan runs four hours ahead of us.

Pakistan's men have won one medal, and it came in mixed martial arts

The official medal standings on 23 September put Pakistan 32nd with two bronze medals, no gold and no silver. One bronze belongs to Asim Khan, in the men's mixed martial arts modern minus 60kg final on 21 September. The other went to the women's cricket team.

That is the whole tally after five days. Pakistan entered athletes in 22 sports, and the biggest squads are hockey with 19 men, cricket with 15 men and 14 women, and kabaddi with 12 men.

The men's results so far are mixed. Hockey has won both pool games, 9-0 against Thailand on 20 September and 5-1 against Uzbekistan on 22 September. Kabaddi beat Malaysia 65-22 and Nepal 58-43, then lost 48-45 to Thailand on 23 September. Boxer Sumama Rehman went out of the men's 55kg on 22 September, beaten 0-5 by Tajikistan. Table tennis and fencing have not won a match.

PTV Sports and Tamasha are the two names in circulation, and neither confirms it on its own site

Pakistani coverage names PTV as the television rights holder and Tamasha, the Jazz streaming app, for digital. We tried to confirm both at source on 23 September 2026 and could not. Treat the channel as reported, not as settled.

Here is what we actually found. The domain ptvsports.com.pk is a parked page carrying a "this website is for sale" notice, and ptv.com.pk refused our request outright. Jazz's own media centre lists press releases about Asia Cup and PSL rights but carried no Asian Games announcement, and tamashaweb.com describes itself as a home for live cricket and PSL 2026 with no mention of these Games.

The Tamasha claim traces back to a Jazz statement quoted in Pakistani technology press on 17 September 2026, attributed to Ali Fahd, President of Jazz Lifestyle Ventures. That is a real source and it may well be correct. It is simply not a page Jazz publishes itself, which is why we are flagging it rather than repeating it as fact.

So check the PTV Sports channel listing on the day before you assume a match is on. If you plan to use the app, Jazz's own page says unsubscribed prepaid users get 1GB of streaming data a day excluding 8 pm to 9 pm, and a daily bundle costs PKR 12 including tax. Over a two week Games, a monthly Jazz internet package works out cheaper than buying a bundle every morning.

If you stream on mobile data, it is worth knowing how to check remaining Jazz MBs before a 70 minute hockey match empties the bundle halfway through the third quarter. And if you are comparing the 5G packages in Pakistan, pick one with enough volume to cover a full session rather than the cheapest headline price.

Pakistan's men's fixtures run to 3 October, and most start before lunch

The table below lists every Pakistan men's event still to come, read from the official results system on 23 September 2026. Times are Pakistan Standard Time. Knockout rounds happen only if Pakistan qualify, and organisers reschedule sessions without warning.

Two of those matter more than the rest. Arshad Nadeem throws in the javelin final on Monday 28 September at 4:15 pm, the one Pakistani event in these Games at a civilised hour. And the men's cricket team enters straight at the quarter-final, so Sahibzada Farhan's side plays once on 28 September and is then either in a semi-final or on a plane home.

The official results site is free and gives you the score faster than any broadcast

If you cannot find the match on television, you can still follow it live. The organisers run a public results system with no login, no subscription, and no geographic block that we could detect from Pakistan on 23 September.

Sony Pictures Networks holds India and the subcontinent, on Sony Sports Network and SonyLIV. TBS Television is the host broadcaster in Japan.

In the Gulf, in Britain and in North America, check your usual sports provider's schedule instead of assuming. Many Pakistani households abroad already pay for a package that carries these Games, and a second subscription for two weeks is rarely worth it.

Free sports streaming sites are the wrong answer, and we are not going to list any

Search results for any Asian Games fixture fill up with pages promising a free live stream. Most of them are unlicensed. They carry malware advertising, they collect card details on fake registration forms, and they cut out mid match.

The legal options in Pakistan are PTV Sports on television and, if the reported deal holds, Tamasha on a phone. If neither carries the match you want, the free official results feed is a real substitute for the score, and highlights go up afterwards on the Games' own YouTube channel. That is the full list. Anything else you find is somebody else's feed being resold without permission.

Paying for something legitimate is also cheaper than it looks. Compare the monthly price of the streaming services in Pakistan against a single card fraud on a cloned payment page and the maths stops being close.

Schedules move, so check again the morning of the match

Everything above was read on 23 September 2026 and is accurate to that reading. Multi sport Games run late, sessions get merged, and a rain delay in the cricket pushes everything after it.

Confirm the start time on the official results site before you set an alarm. And if you are planning around a hockey semi-final or the cricket knockout, remember those fixtures exist only if Pakistan get there. The opponents are not known yet.
