Cambridge AS and A Level Results Are Out. Here Is How to Get Them.

Cambridge released the June 2026 AS and A Level results on 11 August 2026, at 05:00 GMT, which is 10:00 am in Pakistan.

Schools can issue them to candidates straight away. The same release also covers the Cambridge Advanced International Certificate of Education and the Cambridge International Project Qualification.

If it is past ten in the morning and you still have nothing, that is normal, and the next section explains why.

Cambridge releases to schools, not to you

This is the single thing worth understanding on results day, and it saves a lot of panic.

Your result existed from 10am. What happens at 10am is that Cambridge makes it available to your centre through Cambridge International Direct. Your school then issues it to you.

Different centres do that at different times on the same day. Some print statements and hand them out at a set hour. Some email. Some open at nine and some open at noon.

So if you have nothing yet, chase the centre where you sat the papers. Contacting Cambridge directly will not get you a grade, because that is not how the release works.

The online option only works if your school set it up

Cambridge runs a service called Candidate Results that lets students see their own grades.

The catch is that access comes from your school. If your centre issued you login details, you can use it. If it did not, there is no way to create an account yourself, and the centre remains your only route.

It is worth checking your email and any school portal before assuming you were not given one, because these details are often sent well before results day and forgotten.

If a grade does not look right

Cambridge has a formal process for asking that a result be looked at again. It goes through your centre, not through you directly.

Two things matter and both are about speed:

There is a deadline, and it is measured in weeks from the release, not months. There is a fee, and it varies by the type of review requested.

We are not printing the deadline date or the fee here, because both are set per series and administered through your centre, and a figure copied from last year would be worse than no figure. Ask the centre on the day you collect your result, while everyone there is still thinking about it.

One caution worth knowing before you request one. A review can move a grade down as well as up. That is not a reason to avoid it if you genuinely think something went wrong, but it is a reason not to request one on a hunch.

If you are applying to a Pakistani university, start now

A Cambridge qualification is not automatically recognised for local admission. You need an equivalence certificate from the Inter Board Coordination Commission, which converts your grades into the local marks system that Pakistani universities admit on.

Start it as soon as you have the statement. Equivalence is a process with its own queue, and university admission deadlines do not pause while you wait for it. Every year students lose a cycle because they applied for equivalence after the admission window opened rather than before.

What to do this week

1. Get the statement from your centre and check it against the subjects and papers you actually sat.
2. Ask about a review on the day if a grade looks wrong, including the fee and the deadline.
3. Apply for IBCC equivalence if you are staying in Pakistan for university.
4. Check your university's entry requirements against what you actually got, rather than what you expected.
5. If you are short of a requirement, ask the university before assuming the answer is no. Requirements are sometimes met by a combination you had not considered.

If the grades were not what you wanted

A disappointing A Level result is not the end of a plan, and the options are wider than they feel on the day.

You can retake papers in a later series rather than the whole qualification. You can look at universities whose requirements match what you have. And a subject that went badly twice is worth treating as information about fit rather than as a verdict on ability.
