How to Change Your SPSC CCE-2026 Exam Centre in Sindh: Apply to the Secretary by 11 November
SPSC CCE-2026 candidates can change their exam centre by writing to the Secretary by 11 November 2026. Steps, what to include and the new age and pass rules.

To change your SPSC CCE-2026 exam centre, write an application to the Secretary, Sindh Public Service Commission, and submit it on or before 11 November 2026. That is the same day online applications for CCE-2026 close. After that date, the centre you chose stays fixed for the 28 November screening test and the written papers.
The Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) is the Sindh exam for PMS and other provincial officer posts. SPSC confirmed the centre change window in a public notice dated 27 October 2026. We read it, the revised CCE-2026 advertisement of 23 October and the screening test notice on 4 November 2026. Below: how to apply, what to write, and the other CCE-2026 rules that changed.
SPSC accepts centre change requests until 11 November 2026
The notice, No. PSC/EXAM(C.S)/2026/242, says candidates who want to change their exam centre "may address their applications to the Secretary, Sindh Public Service Commission, and submit them on or before the closing date i.e. 11th November, 2026". It is signed by the Assistant Controller of Exam-II.
The notice does not set out a form, a fee or a list of acceptable reasons. It does not say whether email is accepted. So the safe route is a written application delivered to SPSC, Thandi Sarak, Hyderabad, with proof that it reached the office by 11 November.

How to send a centre change application in five steps
Write a short signed application to the Secretary, give your name, CNIC, application or tracking number, your current centre and the centre you want, and attach a copy of your CNIC. Deliver it by hand or a tracked courier so it arrives by 11 November.
- Log in to the SPSC online portal and note your CCE-2026 application details and the centre you chose.
- Write an application addressed to "The Secretary, Sindh Public Service Commission, Thandi Sarak, Hyderabad".
- Include your full name, father's name, CNIC number, application or tracking number, current centre and requested centre, plus a one-line reason.
- Sign it and attach a copy of your CNIC and your online application printout.
- Deliver it by hand and get a receipt, or send it by tracked courier early enough to arrive by 11 November. Keep a copy.
The reason line is our suggestion, not an SPSC rule. A clear reason, such as a job transfer or a move of residence, makes the request easier to process. SPSC's office phone on its website is 022-9200694, open 9 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday, if you want to confirm the request arrived.

After 11 November your centre cannot be changed
Our earlier reading of SPSC's August 2026 advertisement found four exam cities, Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur and Larkana, and a rule that the chosen centre cannot be changed after the closing date. The 27 October notice keeps that rule but makes clear you may still ask before the deadline.
The same applies to your domicile, Permanent Residence Certificate (PRC) Form D, urban or rural quota and optional subjects. All of these lock on 11 November. Our guide to SPSC domicile and PRC rules explains how quota is decided. The full list of what you can still fix is in our page on the CCE-2026 last date.
Other CCE-2026 changes from the 23 October advertisement
SPSC's Advertisement No. 06/2026, dated 23 October 2026, changed four things after a Sindh cabinet decision of 20 October. The upper age limit is now 33, attempts rise to five, the screening test pass mark is 33 per cent, and wrong answers lose 0.25 marks.
| Rule | New position |
|---|---|
| Upper age limit | 33 years, counted on 11 November 2026 |
| Lower age limit | 21 years, unchanged |
| Attempts | Five, for a period of three years |
| Screening test pass mark | 33 per cent (66 marks), replacing 40 per cent (80 marks) |
| Negative marking | 0.25 marks for each wrong answer |
| Already applied | No need to apply again; fix deficiencies on the portal by 11 November |
Negative marking changes how you should answer. A wrong answer costs a quarter mark, so a blind guess is a gamble. If you can rule out two of four options, a guess is usually worth it. If you cannot, leave it.

The screening test is on Saturday 28 November 2026
SPSC's notice of 26 October 2026 set the CCE-2026 screening test for Saturday 28 November, after the 24 October date was postponed. Centres and admission slips will follow after the portal closes. Details are in our page on the CCE-2026 screening test date.
SPSC also announced on 3 November that all future descriptive exams will use electronic attendance to stop impersonation. Read what that means in our report on SPSC electronic attendance.

How we verified this
What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.
Last checked 4 November 2026. We read the SPSC website, the public notice on CCE-2026 centre change dated 27 October 2026, Advertisement No. 06/2026 dated 23 October 2026, and the screening test notice of 26 October 2026. The application format and reason line are our suggestions, since SPSC's notice gives none. The four exam cities come from our earlier reading of the August advertisement.
