Check a LONGi or Jinko Solar Panel Is Original in Pakistan: Official Serial Pages, 5 Steps
Check a LONGi or Jinko solar panel is original in Pakistan: the official serial pages, 5 steps, what to do if a number fails, and what each maker states.

To check a LONGi panel, type the number from its barcode into LONGi's PV Module Authenticity page. JinkoSolar links an SN Authentication tool from its Contact Us menu at its customer service site. Do both before you pay, on every panel, using numbers you read off the panel yourself.
A solar panel can look the same whether it is original or not, and the label is what you can check. We opened both official pages on 7 November 2026. LONGi's form asks for one number and has a Submit button. JinkoSolar's tool is an app page that showed us only a title when we fetched it, so open it in your own browser. We have not run a real serial through either one, so the results you see are yours to judge. Neither maker shows a Pakistan price on the pages we read.
Check a LONGi panel in 5 steps
LONGi says the barcode is a string of numbers on the front or back of the module. Enter it on LONGi's own form and press Submit. LONGi's page does not explain the result messages, so if the answer looks unclear, call its hotline before you pay anything.
- Go to the panels themselves, not to a photo sent by the seller.
- Find the barcode on the front or back of the module.
- Open longi.com/en/modules-authenticity on your own phone, on your own data.
- Type the number and press Submit.
- Repeat on panels from every stack, and ideally on every panel.
LONGi's page lists a hotline, (+86) 4008 601012, which is a number in China, and a contact form at longi.com. It also links a separate Traceability Service, though it does not describe it as an authenticity check.

Check a JinkoSolar panel through its SN page
JinkoSolar's main site lists SN Authentication under Contact Us, with the link cs.jinkosolar.com. SN means serial number. Our fetch of that page returned only a title, so we could not confirm how the form works. If it fails for you, use JinkoSolar's contact route rather than a link from a seller.
Be careful with this step. A link a seller sends you can open a copy of a checker that says everything is fine. Type the address yourself, or reach it from the maker's own home page. Do the same for any other brand. Canadian Solar's home page, for example, showed no authentication link on the day we read it, only a contact page, so ask the company directly and not the dealer.
What to do when the number fails or repeats
A number that fails the maker's check, or two panels showing the same serial, is a reason to stop. Do not pay the balance. Ask the seller in writing for the import and invoice papers, and send the serials to the maker through its own contact page.
| What you see | What it can mean | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Number accepted and matches | Maker recognises the number | Keep a screenshot for each panel |
| Number not found | Typing error, new batch or a label problem | Retype, then ask the maker |
| Same serial on two panels | A serial should be unique to one panel | Stop and write to the maker |
| Label peels off easily or looks reprinted | Possible relabelled panel | Stop and ask for invoice papers |
| Seller refuses to let you read labels | You cannot check anything | Do not pay |
None of these results proves a crime by itself, and a dealer may have bought in good faith. That is why written papers matter. Keep the invoice, the warranty card and your serial list together with your net metering papers if you plan to apply later.

2 current panels and what the makers state
LONGi lists the Hi-MO 7 at 610 watts and 22.60 per cent efficiency. JinkoSolar lists the Tiger Neo 3.0 at 670 watts and 24.8 per cent. Those are the maker's own headline figures for these two series. A dealer's lower watt label may be a different size.
LONGi Hi-MO 7

610 watts, 22.60 per cent efficiency, model family LR7-72HGD. LONGi gives a 12 year product warranty and a 30 year linear power warranty, with up to 0.4 per cent yearly loss. The temperature figure is minus 0.280 per cent a degree, and that matters on a Lahore roof in June. LONGi publishes no Pakistan price, so ask for a dated quote.
JinkoSolar Tiger Neo 3.0

670 watts, 24.8 per cent module efficiency, TOPCon cells. JinkoSolar's page gives minus 0.26 per cent a degree. It sends warranty terms to its download section, and it gives no Pakistan price. Ask your dealer for the warranty PDF that matches the exact model code.
One panel makes about 2.4 to 2.7 units on a good day
A panel's watts times its sun hours gives its daily units. Using a round 4 full sun hours as our own assumption, a 610 watt panel makes about 2.4 units a day and a 670 watt panel about 2.7. Winter fog and dust cut that, sometimes by a lot.
| Panels on the roof | 610 W, units a day | 670 W, units a day | What that covers |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 2.4 | 2.7 | A 2,000 watt geyser for about one hour |
| 4 | 9.8 | 10.7 | A 1 ton inverter AC on heat for several hours in daytime |
| 10 | 24.4 | 26.8 | An AC and a geyser together through the sunny hours |
Panels make nothing at night, and winter evenings are when many homes want heat. So plan a battery or the grid for those hours. Check what you can earn from exports too, since the old net metering rules have changed. For high wind, the NDMA roof advice is worth a read before the frame goes up.

How we verified this
What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.
We read the LONGi Hi-MO 7 page and authenticity form, and JinkoSolar's Tiger Neo 3.0 page and menu, on 7 November 2026. Pictures are the makers' own. The sun hours figure and daily units are our own round sums, not maker figures, and we did not submit a real serial number to either tool.
