Check your NUMS MDCAT 2026 result at mdcat.numspak.edu.pk with your roll number or CNIC and the captcha code. The National University of Medical Sciences (NUMS) held the test on Sunday 13 September 2026 for MBBS and BDS seats in Army Medical College and 18 other colleges. Retotaling closed at 4 pm on 6 October 2026. You need 55 per cent for MBBS and 50 per cent for BDS to apply.

We opened the NUMS result portal and the university's MDCAT 2026 and admissions pages on 10 October 2026. The NUMS MDCAT is a separate test from the MDCAT run by provincial universities such as UHS in Punjab. A NUMS result counts only for NUMS colleges, and the admission form for session 2026-27 has not opened yet.

You check the NUMS MDCAT 2026 result by roll number or CNIC

The NUMS MDCAT 2026 result sits on its own portal, mdcat.numspak.edu.pk, linked from the NUMS home page. It asks for your roll number or CNIC, then a captcha. There is no password.

  1. Open mdcat.numspak.edu.pk on a phone or computer.
  2. Choose roll number or CNIC.
  3. Type your roll number from the admit card, or the CNIC or B-Form number you registered with.
  4. Type the captcha words. They are not case sensitive.
  5. Submit, then save the result card as a PDF or screenshot.

Keep that saved card. You will need the exact marks when the admission form opens, and portals tend to slow down on the first days of an admission window.

Five steps to check the NUMS MDCAT 2026 result at mdcat.numspak.edu.pk

Retotaling closed on 6 October 2026

NUMS allowed retotaling requests until 4 pm on 6 October 2026, according to a note on the result portal. That window has now closed. If you missed it, there is no second window shown on the portal.

Retotaling, in plain words, means NUMS recounts the marks on your answer sheet. It does not re-mark the questions. It mainly catches counting or scanning errors on an OMR sheet, the bubble sheet you filled in the hall.

NUMS MDCAT counts only for 19 NUMS colleges

NUMS runs its own entry test because it is the admitting university for Army Medical College and the armed forces administered colleges. NUMS lists 19 medical and dental colleges for session 2026-27 that use this test. A UHS or KMU MDCAT result does not get you into them.

Before you pay any college, check that the medical college is PMDC recognised. The NUMS list is the starting point, not the last check.

You need 55 per cent for MBBS and 50 per cent for BDS

To apply for MBBS through NUMS, you need at least 55 per cent in the NUMS MDCAT. For BDS, the bar is 50 per cent. You also need at least 60 per cent in FSc pre-medical or an IBCC equivalent.

These are the rules NUMS printed for session 2025-26, the latest admission notice it has posted. They match the PMDC admission regulations that bind every medical university. NUMS has not yet posted its 2026-27 admission notice, so confirm the figures when it does.

Your merit is an aggregate. NUMS weights the entry test at 50 per cent, FSc at 40 per cent and matric at 10 per cent. That is the same split UHS uses, so you can work out your MDCAT aggregate the same way, with your NUMS score in place of the UHS one.

NUMS MDCAT (or MCAT/UCAT for foreign seats)50%
FSc pre-medical or equivalent40%
Matric or equivalent10%

The NUMS MBBS admission form opens later, last year in November

Passing the test does not admit you. NUMS runs a separate centralized admission round, with its own online form and fee. For session 2026-27 that round had not opened when we checked on 10 October 2026.

Last year's round gives a guide to timing. For session 2025-26, NUMS held its test on 28 September 2025 and the online admission registration at the normal fee ended on 3 December 2025. The fee was Rs 7,500 for open merit and Rs 45,000 for a foreign seat, non-refundable. This year's test was two weeks earlier, so the form may open earlier too. We are not stating a 2026 date because NUMS has not posted one.

Foreign seats are open to overseas Pakistanis, dual nationals and holders of an Iqama, green card or similar residence. They can use a valid MCAT (USA) or UCAT (UK) instead of the NUMS test, under last year's notice.

Last year NUMS published a list of mandatory documents before the form opened, and said a missing one meant rejection. The slowest item is usually the first one on this list, so start it now:

  • Matric and FSc certificates or result cards attested by the IBCC, which NUMS required under an HEC letter of 18 May 2023
  • An IBCC equivalence certificate, if you studied O and A levels or abroad
  • Your CNIC or B-Form, and a CNIC, NICOP or passport of one parent
  • A recent colour photo on a white or blue background, face clearly visible
  • Clear JPG scans of the originals, front and back, each under 2 MB

The IBCC attestation of matric and inter certificates needs board verification first, so it is not a same-day job.

How we verified this

What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.

Last checked on 10 October 2026. We read the NUMS MDCAT 2026 page for admissions in MBBS/BDS session 2026-27, the NUMS admissions page, the centralized admissions MBBS/BDS session 2025-26 notice and the result portal at mdcat.numspak.edu.pk, all on numspak.edu.pk. We did not search a roll number, so we have not seen a result card ourselves.
