Check Your Power Company's 2027 Revenue Request at NEPRA: All Ten Compared
Find your power company's 2027 revenue request at NEPRA. LESCO asks Rs 758,682 million with power cost. See which figures include it, and each hearing time.

To check what your electricity company asked NEPRA for in 2027, open its notice of hearing on nepra.org.pk and read the last row, "Requested Revenue". LESCO asks for Rs 758,682 million including the cost of buying power. NEPRA hears LESCO on 14 October 2026, and every other company between 13 and 15 October.
We read all ten notices. Their last rows are not directly comparable, because some include the cost of buying electricity and some do not. This guide shows which is which, so you do not compare the wrong figures. All figures are in million rupees.
Read the Requested Revenue row first
The bottom row of each notice is the company's total ask for 2027. It adds the company's margin, any prior year adjustment and, in some notices, the power purchase price. Check the words in brackets: "including PPP" or "excluding PPP".
PPP is the power purchase price, the cost of the electricity the company buys. It is the largest cost by far. LESCO's own table lists a power purchase price of Rs 646,629 million, against a margin of Rs 79,270 million.
That is why a figure with PPP and one without cannot be set side by side. We split them in the table below.

Five companies include the cost of buying power
LESCO, FESCO, IESCO, QESCO and TESCO print a requested revenue that includes the power purchase price. LESCO asks for Rs 758,682 million, FESCO Rs 535,176 million and IESCO Rs 530,169 million.
| Company | Requested revenue (Rs million) | Includes power purchase price | Hearing |
|---|---|---|---|
| LESCO | 758,682 | Yes | 14 Oct, 2:00 pm |
| FESCO | 535,176 | Yes | 14 Oct, 3:00 pm |
| IESCO | 530,169 | Yes | 15 Oct, 2:00 pm |
| HESCO | 232,892 | Label says no, table says yes | 15 Oct, 2:30 pm |
| QESCO | 141,826 | Yes | 13 Oct, 3:00 pm |
| TESCO | 92,435 | Yes | 13 Oct, 2:30 pm |
| MEPCO | 127,431 | No | 14 Oct, 2:30 pm |
| PESCO | 81,873 | No | 13 Oct, 2:00 pm |
| GEPCO | 70,394 | No | 14 Oct, 3:30 pm |
| SEPCO | 68,309 | No | 15 Oct, 3:00 pm |
The HESCO row needs care. Its notice says "Excluding PPP", but the table lists a power purchase price of Rs 165,948 million, and the rows add up to Rs 232,892 million only if that price is counted. We treat it as including PPP. Ask NEPRA at the hearing if you need certainty.
Four companies leave the power price out
MEPCO, PESCO, GEPCO and SEPCO print a requested revenue excluding the cost of buying power. MEPCO asks for Rs 127,431 million, PESCO Rs 81,873 million, GEPCO Rs 70,394 million and SEPCO Rs 68,309 million.
For these four, the figure is mostly the company's own margin plus past claims. MEPCO's Rs 127,431 million is a margin of Rs 75,951 million and a prior year adjustment of Rs 51,480 million. Compare it with the other companies' margin lines, not with LESCO's total.

Margins can be compared across all ten
The "Total Margin" row, where printed, is comparable. LESCO asks for Rs 79,270 million, IESCO Rs 78,120 million, MEPCO Rs 75,951 million, FESCO Rs 62,688 million and HESCO Rs 60,830 million. GEPCO asks for Rs 52,936 million, SEPCO Rs 32,013 million, QESCO Rs 29,497 million and TESCO Rs 10,459 million.
PESCO's notice has no margin row. Its subtotal for costs, depreciation, return on assets and other income is Rs 55,938 million, before turnover tax, prior year adjustment and working capital. That is about the same idea, but we do not list it as a margin.
A margin is the money requested for running costs, depreciation and return on assets, after other income. It does not include electricity purchase cost.
The margin is the fairest way to see how big each company's own operation is, because the power price depends on where the company buys and how much it sells.

Common questions
Where do I find my electricity company's request?
Open nepra.org.pk and look for the notice of hearing for your company, posted in September 2026. The request table is printed on the notice.
Which company asks for the most?
LESCO asks for the most in total, Rs 758,682 million including power purchase cost. For margin alone, LESCO also leads with Rs 79,270 million.
Does a requested revenue mean my bill will rise by that amount?
No. It is a request. NEPRA decides after the hearing, and the federal government then notifies the tariff.
Is K-Electric in this round?
No. K-Electric is not part of these hearings.
Why do the notices not show a per unit rate?
They show money totals only. A per unit rate would need the units each company expects to sell, which the notices do not give.
How we verified this
What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.
Last checked on 13 October 2026, Pakistan time. We read all ten notices of hearing on nepra.org.pk. LESCO and SEPCO do not print the unit, and we read them in million rupees because their totals match the others. We have not seen NEPRA's decision on any of these requests.
