EA FC 27 Is Out in Pakistan: Release Date, Price and Editions

EA SPORTS FC 27 is already out. It launched worldwide on 25 September 2026, and Ultimate Edition owners could play from 18 September. In Pakistan, Steam sells the Standard Edition for $69.99 and the Ultimate Edition for $99.99, about Rs 19,400 and Rs 27,700 before bank charges.

We read the dates, editions and platforms on EA's own FC 27 pages on 28 September 2026. We checked the prices on Steam's Pakistan store and on Sony's official UAE PlayStation Store, which is where most Pakistani PlayStation owners shop. If you have seen other release dates floating around, they came from before EA confirmed the schedule.

EA FC 27 launched on 25 September 2026

EA says FC 27 "launches globally on 25 September 2026". Players who bought the Ultimate Edition or the early bird Ultimate Plus Edition got up to 7 days of early access from 18 September. A free trial called FC 27 Lite also opened on launch day.

FC 27 Lite is a limited preview. EA says it lets you try select modes, such as Kick-Off, and upgrade to the full game at any time. It went live at 16:00 UTC on 25 September, which is 21:00 in Pakistan.

On Steam the release date shows as 24 September. That is the same launch seen from a US time zone, not a different date.

FC 27 costs $69.99, and the Ultimate Edition $99.99

The Standard Edition is $69.99 and the Ultimate Edition is $99.99, on both Steam in Pakistan and the UAE PlayStation Store. EA's own store also starts at $69.99. There is no official rupee price. Our rupee figures are estimates.

We converted at Rs 277.31 to the dollar, the State Bank of Pakistan's weighted average rate for 24 September 2026. Your bank uses its own rate and may add charges and taxes on a foreign card payment, so expect the debit to be higher than our figure.

EA's buy page lists the Ultimate Edition with 6,000 FC Points spread over three monthly drops, an extra Player Evolution slot, extra content for The Grounds and Career, and an 85+ rated International ICON for Ultimate Team. EA's editions FAQ ties that ICON to pre-orders made by 31 August, so do not count on it if you buy now. FC Points are the in-game money for Ultimate Team packs. If you would spend around $25 on points anyway, the $30 gap between the two editions shrinks fast.

The Ultimate Plus Edition, with five Premium Passes and 10,000 FC Points, was sold only from 23 July to 31 August 2026. You cannot buy it now.

FC 27 runs on PS5, PS4, Xbox, Switch and PC

EA lists nine places to play: PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, the EA app, Steam and the Epic Games Store. The new mode, The Grounds, does not run on PS4, Xbox One or the original Switch.

The Grounds is FC 27's big addition. EA calls it "a social football playground where the streets meet the stadium", with Kickabouts, 1v1s and Clubs. If you are on a PS4, you still get Ultimate Team, Career and Kick-Off, but not The Grounds.

PS4 and Xbox One owners do get a fair deal on upgrades. EA says you can move your copy from PS4 to PS5, or from Xbox One to Xbox Series X|S, at no extra cost. The PlayStation Store sells a single PS4 and PS5 bundle for the same $69.99.

On PC, the Steam listing asks for at least Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit), an Intel Core i5 6600K or AMD Ryzen 5 1600, 8 GB of RAM, a GTX 1050 Ti or RX 570 graphics card and 100 GB of free space. That minimum targets 720p at 60 frames a second on the Low preset. An SSD is recommended at minimum and required at the recommended level.

Pakistani players buy FC 27 on Steam or a foreign PlayStation account

On PC, Steam sells FC 27 directly to Pakistani accounts in US dollars. On PlayStation there is no Pakistani store, so players use a UAE or other foreign account. Discs are the other option, imported by local shops at their own prices.

Pakistan is not on PlayStation's official country list, which we checked on 28 September 2026. The UAE store charges the same dollar prices as Steam. Here is the usual route:

1. On PC, sign in to Steam, search for EA SPORTS FC 27 and pick an edition.
2. On PlayStation, sign in to a UAE region account and search the PlayStation Store.
3. Try FC 27 Lite first if you are unsure. It is free.
4. Pay with an international card or with store credit for that region.
5. Link your EA Account when the game asks. You need it to play online.

A foreign card payment needs a card that works for online international purchases. Several virtual dollar cards in Pakistan are built for exactly this, and they avoid putting your main debit card online. EA's terms for the digital versions say you need a steady internet connection and an EA Account to play.

Anyone planning for November should know that FC 27 is not the only big release this autumn. The GTA 6 release date is 19 November, and it runs only on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. If both games are on your list, a PS4 will only carry one of them, and the best gaming console in Pakistan is worth checking before you spend.
