Jazz roaming packages start at Rs 1,100 for 200 MB for one day and go up to Rs 11,682 for 5 GB over 90 days. You buy almost all of them by dialling *7626# or in the SIMOSA app, after roaming is switched on. Jazz sells country bundles for the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Europe, a World bundle for 30 plus countries, and two Hajj bundles. Below is every prepaid bundle with its price, the cost per GB, and the settings to fix when a bundle does not work abroad.

We read each bundle page on Jazz's website on 24 October 2026. All prices are as Jazz prints them, including tax. We did not travel or dial the codes ourselves.

Jazz has 14 prepaid roaming bundles across 5 groups

The cheapest is World 200 MB at Rs 1,100 for one day. The best value per GB is Euro 10 GB at Rs 10,308 for 90 days. The UAE, Saudi and Euro bundles work only in those places. World bundles cover a list of partner networks in 30 plus countries.

The World 5 GB bundle has a longer list of partner networks than the smaller World bundles. It adds places such as Japan, Indonesia, Jordan and Kenya. If your country is not on the short list, check the 5 GB list before you fly.

Jazz roaming package prices for UAE, Saudi Arabia, Europe and World bundles

Cost per GB ranges from about Rs 1,031 to Rs 5,500

Big, long bundles are far cheaper per GB. Euro 10 GB works out to about Rs 1,031 a GB and Saudi 6 GB about Rs 1,145. The World 200 MB day pass costs about Rs 5,500 a GB, so buy it only for a one day stop.

These figures are our own division of Jazz's prices. They matter because the bundle names hide the gap. A traveller who buys five World 1 GB bundles for a month pays Rs 20,615. The World 5 GB bundle gives the same data for Rs 11,682, and lasts 90 days.

Jazz's UAE and Euro pages also claim "rates as low as PKR 0.88/MB" and bundles "starting at just PKR 999". We could not find either figure in the prices on Jazz's own bundle pages. The lowest rate we can calculate is Euro 10 GB at about Rs 1.01 a MB, and the cheapest bundle is Rs 1,100. Treat the headline claims with care.

Switch roaming on before you leave Pakistan

Dial *7626#, also written *ROAM#, before you fly. Jazz says activation is free for prepaid. Postpaid needs a credit limit of at least Rs 5,000. Then buy your bundle from the same code or the SIMOSA app.

  1. Recharge enough balance to cover the bundle. Jazz says your balance must be more than the bundle price.
  2. Dial *7626# to switch international roaming on. You can also send "Hi" on WhatsApp to 0300-3008000 or use the SIMOSA app.
  3. Dial *7626# again, or open SIMOSA, and pick the bundle for your destination.
  4. Keep the confirmation SMS. It shows the data and the expiry date.
  5. On the plane, keep the phone in airplane mode. Jazz says bundles do not work in flight.
  6. After landing, turn on data roaming in your phone settings and make sure you are on a partner network.

The way you activate international roaming on Jazz, Ufone and Zong is much the same on all three. Business numbers need a Rs 10,000 credit limit, according to Jazz's Saudi bundle page.

Steps to activate Jazz roaming and buy a roaming bundle with *7626#

Prepaid data abroad works only through a bundle

On Jazz prepaid, there is no pay as you go data abroad, according to the World bundle FAQ. When the bundle runs out, data stops until you buy another. Calls and SMS abroad are charged at each country's roaming tariff.

That rule is a safety net for your balance. It also means you can lose WhatsApp in the middle of a trip if you misjudge your use. Jazz says 100 MB gives roughly 200 minutes of WhatsApp audio or 20 minutes of video calls. Plan by that.

Other rules from the bundle pages:

  • Bundles do not renew by themselves.
  • You can buy the same bundle again, or a different one. If you renew the same bundle before it ends, the unused data carries forward with the new expiry date.
  • Bundles work only outside Pakistan.
  • Warid numbers can buy them too.
  • WhatsApp audio and video calls work, including in the Middle East, Jazz says.

One conflict to note. The World bundle terms say per MB charges apply once the bundle is used up. The UAE and Saudi terms say they do not apply. The World FAQ also says prepaid pay as you go data does not work. We read that as: prepaid data stops, but check your balance if you are on postpaid.

When a bundle does not work, fix the APN first

Jazz's own fix is to set the Access Point Name, or APN, to "Jazz". If that fails, set the network type to 2G or 3G, pick a partner network by hand, and restart the phone.

On Android, go to Settings, Connections, Mobile networks, Access Point Names, and set the APN to Jazz. Then check that your destination and the network you are on appear in the partner list for your bundle. Jazz says you should latch onto the listed operators automatically, but it does not always happen.

If the phone shows no service at all, the cause is often the handset, not the bundle. Read about non-PTA phones on Jazz roaming, and work through the wider list of roaming fixes for Jazz, Ufone and Zong. For help abroad, Jazz lists a roaming helpline at 0300-2000100, WhatsApp at 0300-3008000, and the email customercare@jazz.com.pk.

Pilgrims should compare the Hajj and Saudi bundles

The Hajj 8 GB bundle costs Rs 6,500 for 60 days and adds 50 call minutes and 2 GB of WhatsApp data. The Saudi 6 GB bundle costs Rs 6,872 for 45 days with data only. For a long stay, the Hajj bundle gives more.

The Hajj 2 GB bundle at Rs 5,800 is different. It bundles travel takaful, a form of Islamic insurance, with cover of up to USD 2,500. Jazz says it is sold only through JazzCash, and the takaful is run by TPL Insurance. For Umrah trips, it is worth setting the Saudi roaming bundles on Jazz, Ufone and Zong side by side before you choose.

How we verified this

What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.

We read the 12 prepaid roaming bundle pages on Jazz's website, the two Hajj bundle pages, the Prepaid Roaming Tips page and the international roaming tariff page on 24 October 2026, plus the World 200 MB bundle page and its FAQ. Prices, validity, coverage, activation rules and support contacts come from those pages. The cost per GB figures are our own arithmetic. We did not read the postpaid versions of each bundle, so postpaid prices are not listed here. We did not travel or dial any code ourselves.
