Jeans Size Chart in Pakistan: Waist 26 to 34 in Inches, Hip by Fit, and How to Measure
Jeans size chart for Pakistan: what W32 L30 means, women's waist 26 to 32 with hip for regular, skinny and flared fits, and how to measure jeans you own.

Jeans in Pakistan are sized by waist in inches: a size 30 is made for a waist of about 30 inches, and a label like W30 L32 adds a 32 inch inside leg. Women's jeans also change with the cut. On one Pakistani brand's chart, which we read on 4 November 2026, a size 28 regular fit has a 34 inch hip, while a size 28 skinny fit has a 33.5 inch hip. Measure your waist and hip, then read the chart for the exact cut you want.
Jeans are the hardest thing to buy online. The waist can fit while the hip is tight, or the length can bunch at the ankle. This guide explains the numbers on the label, shows a real women's chart by fit, and gives a simple method to measure at home or from a pair you already own.

What the numbers on a jeans label mean
The first number is the waist in inches and the second is the inside leg length, called the inseam, in inches. So W32 L30 means a 32 inch waist and a 30 inch inside leg.
- Waist (W): most labels use even numbers such as 28, 30, 32 and 34. Some brands add odd sizes like 29 and 31.
- Length or inseam (L): measured from the crotch seam down the inside of the leg to the hem. Many local brands sell one length per size and expect you to hem it.
- Fit or cut: regular, slim, skinny, straight, bootcut, flared, baggy. The same waist number fits very differently in each cut.
- Stretch: jeans with a little elastane feel easier at the hip and thigh and may loosen slightly after wearing.
Women's jeans size chart by fit, in inches
The chart below is Stylo's denim size chart, read from its size chart page. It lists four cuts. The waist is the size number, and the hip, bottom opening and inseam change with the cut.
| Fit | Waist 26 | Waist 28 | Waist 30 | Waist 32 | Inseam |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Regular fit, hip | 32 | 34 | 36 | 38 | 28 |
| Skinny fit, hip | 31.5 | 33.5 | 35.5 | 37.5 | 28.5 |
| Flapper (flared) fit, hip | 35.5 | 37 | 38.5 | 40 | 24 |
| Regular fit, bottom opening | 5 | 5.5 | 6 | 6.25 | Not applicable |
| Skinny fit, bottom opening | 4.5 | 4.75 | 5 | 5.25 | Not applicable |
The brand's baggy pant also comes in waist 34, with a 26 inch inseam. Its baggy hip figures are listed as a flat width, from 20 inches for waist 26 to 24 inches for waist 34, so double them to compare with the other rows. The flared fit is shorter in the inseam because it is meant to be worn with heels or cropped.

Measure your waist, hip and inseam at home
Use a soft tape and measure over thin clothes. Note each number in inches, because that is what Pakistani jeans charts use.
- Waist: measure where the jeans will sit, not your narrowest point. Most modern jeans sit a little below the navel.
- Hip: stand with feet together and measure around the widest part of the hips and seat.
- Inseam: measure from the top of the inside leg down to the ankle bone, without shoes.
- Thigh: if your thighs are muscular, measure around the top of one thigh. Skinny cuts are tight here.
- Compare: find the waist column in the chart, then check the hip for the cut you want.
Measure a pair that already fits
The quickest and most reliable way is to measure jeans you already like. Lay them flat on a table, buttoned, and smooth out the creases.
- Measure straight across the top of the waistband and double it for the waist.
- Measure across the hip, about 7 to 8 inches below the waistband, and double it.
- Measure the inside leg from the crotch seam to the hem.
- Measure across the leg opening at the hem for the bottom width.
Compare these numbers with the garment chart on the product page. This works well for men's jeans too, where most Pakistani brands list only the waist size and fit name.
Men's jeans: waist first, then cut
For men, buy the waist number that matches the waist where you wear your trousers, then pick a cut. If you are between sizes, the bigger waist and a belt is usually more comfortable than a tight waistband, especially for long office days or travel.
Slim and skinny cuts can feel a size smaller across the thigh. If you are used to regular fit and want slim, try one waist size up or check the thigh measurement on the brand's chart. For office wear on a budget, two pairs of dark regular or straight fit jeans cover most days and hide wear for longer than light washes. If you shop with a marketplace seller instead of a brand store, the Daraz return rules apply rather than the brand policy.
Exchanges, sales and hemming
Before ordering, check whether the shop exchanges jeans and whether sale denim is excluded. Breakout allows only size exchanges on markdown items when stock is available, and Outfitters exchanges only faulty or wrong items within 14 days. Do not hem a pair until you are sure it fits, because altered items are not exchanged. Our guide to online return and refund rights explains your options, and the Daraz 11.11 sale is a good time to buy basics in a size you already know.
Common questions
What does W32 L30 mean on jeans?
It means a 32 inch waist and a 30 inch inside leg. The waist and length are both in inches.
What jeans size am I if my waist is 30 inches?
Start with size 30. If your hip is wider than the chart's hip for that cut, try size 32 or a regular fit instead of skinny.
Do women's jeans in Pakistan use the same sizes as men's?
Many local brands use waist numbers for both, such as 26, 28 and 30. Women's charts also list the hip, which matters more for fit.
Should I buy skinny jeans one size up?
If you have strong thighs or prefer comfort, yes. On the chart we read, skinny fit is about half an inch smaller at the hip than regular fit.
Can I exchange jeans after hemming?
Usually not. Brands ask for items to be unused and unaltered, so try them on at home first and hem only once you are happy.
How do I measure jeans that fit me well?
Lay them flat, measure across the waistband and double it, then measure the inside leg from crotch seam to hem.
How we verified this
What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.
We read Stylo's denim size chart on its size chart page (stylo.pk) on 4 November 2026. Exchange terms are from the refund policy pages of Breakout and Outfitters, read the same day. The measuring methods are general guidance. Every brand cuts denim differently, so use the chart on the product page you are buying from.
