How to Book a NADRA or Passport Appointment at the Pakistan Consulate in Jeddah

Book at appointment.parepjeddah.org. The Pakistan Consulate in Jeddah now takes passport (MRP) and NADRA visits by online appointment. The first open date is Thursday 1 October 2026, and slots run Sunday to Thursday.

The system is for Pakistanis in western Saudi Arabia. Its area list covers Jeddah, Makkah, Madinah, Taif, Yanbu, Rabigh, Abha, Al Bahah, Jazan, Khamis Mushait and Najran. One booking can cover you alone or up to five family members.

We used the portal ourselves on 24 September 2026. We opened both service types, clicked through the calendar and pulled the time list for every open date up to 30 November. We stopped before saving a booking, so the last screen is described from the consulate's announcement.

The Jeddah consulate now books NADRA and passport visits online

The Consulate General of Pakistan in Jeddah launched an online appointment system for passport and NADRA services. Bookings opened on 20 September 2026, and the consulate says it will serve these counters only by appointment from 1 October, according to news reports of its announcement. We could not find the announcement on the consulate's own site.

The consulate's own appointment page uses softer words. It says applicants "are requested to book an appointment online before visiting". So the press reports are firmer than the page itself about walk-ins.

Treat 1 October as the day walk-ins stop, and book first.

Book a Jeddah consulate appointment in eight steps

Booking takes about five minutes on a phone. You pick a service, say who is coming, choose a date and time, then enter each person's CNIC and mobile number. The consulate says an SMS and tracking ID follow once the booking is confirmed.

1. Open appointment.parepjeddah.org and tap Book New Appointment.
2. Choose the appointment type: MRP for a passport or NADRA for an identity card. For MRP, a pop up lists the documents you must bring. You must accept it to continue.
3. Choose Individual or Family, then the number of applicants. The limit is five per booking.
4. Pick a date on the calendar. Grey dates are closed.
5. Pick a time from the list for that date.
6. Enter the applicant's full name, CNIC number and mobile number. You can also add an Iqama, passport, visa or border number, an email address and your area.
7. For a family booking, add each member and their relation to you.
8. Save the booking. We did not reach this screen. The consulate says you then get an SMS and a tracking ID. Use that ID under View / Cancel Appointment to check or cancel.

Slots run Sunday to Thursday, and most October dates are still open

When we went through the calendar on 24 September 2026, passport slots ran every five minutes from 08:05 to 15:30. NADRA slots ran every ten minutes from 08:15 to 11:55. Dates were open from 1 October to 30 November, and December had not been released yet.

We pulled the time list for each date as one applicant and added up the free places beside every slot. A normal passport day had about 610 places. A normal NADRA day had about 115.

The first day is filling fastest. When we opened 1 October, 22 of its 40 NADRA places were already taken, and the list had only eight NADRA time slots that day. On the passport side, 95 of 540 places were gone.

Office hours on the consulate's pages do not fully agree. The NADRA section and the contact page say 08:00 to 15:00, while the NADRA booking box says 08:00 to 16:00. The booking system itself stops NADRA slots at 11:55, so plan for a morning visit.

Documents to bring for passport and NADRA services

Bring originals and one photocopy of each. For a passport you need your CNIC or smart card, your current passport and your Iqama. For NADRA work you need your current identity card and passport, plus proof of any change you want made.

Divorced parents need custody papers from a court, or both parents must appear with an affidavit of no objection. Government employees need a departmental NOC. The rules match those for a child passport in Pakistan, with the Iqama added.

Passport fees at the Jeddah consulate are set in Saudi riyals

The consulate's passport page lists a 36 page, five year MRP at SAR 84 on normal processing and SAR 140 urgent. A 36 page, five year e-Passport is listed at SAR 150 normal and SAR 250 urgent. Normal delivery takes four weeks.

A first lost passport costs double and a second lost passport costs four times as much. The consulate adds that fees are "subject to change".

We also checked the DGI&P website at dgip.gov.pk. Its tables give the official passport fee rates in rupees for offices in Pakistan, with no riyal schedule for missions. So for Jeddah, the consulate's own riyal table is the one to use.

NICOP fees are harder. NADRA's fee page did not load its table for us on 24 September. When we read NADRA's fee structure on 18 August 2026, it listed the Smart NICOP at USD 39 normal, USD 57 urgent and USD 75 executive. A separate Gulf rate is reported but we could not confirm it, so check the price in Pak ID before you pay.

The reported MRP cut-off on 15 October leaves Jeddah bookings unclear

Pakistan is reported to stop issuing new machine-readable passports from 15 October 2026, and missions abroad were reportedly told to apply the change. Jeddah's booking system still offers MRP slots after that date, and its page does not say what those slots will produce.

The end of the MRP from 15 October comes from news reports of a DGI&P circular that we could not find on the department's site. The Jeddah passport page already carries an e-Passport fee table in riyals.

So if you book a passport slot for late October, expect to be offered an e-Passport and to pay the higher riyal fee. A 36 page, ten year passport goes from SAR 126 to SAR 275. If you want the cheaper MRP, book a date before 15 October. Those dates were still open when we looked.

No slots showing usually means the date is closed, not full

If the calendar shows nothing, first check the date. Friday, Saturday and every date before 1 October were closed on 24 September. December had not been released. A pop up saying "All the Appointments has been booked" means that one date is full.

• Try a date one or two weeks later. Mid October had hundreds of free passport places a day.
• Reduce the number of applicants. A family of five needs five free places in one time slot, and some slots had only one or two left.
• For NADRA, look at early slots. The whole NADRA window ends before noon.
• Call 012 668 9149 or the three mobile numbers above, or email parepjeddah@mofa.gov.pk.

NICOP renewal and passport renewal can be done online from Saudi Arabia

The consulate's own NADRA page sends online card renewal to id.nadra.gov.pk, which is NADRA's Pak ID service. Its passport page sends online MRP renewal to onlinemrp.dgip.gov.pk. Both let you apply from Saudi Arabia without visiting the consulate.

Pak ID is NADRA's app and website for identity services. It captures your photo and fingerprints on your phone, the same way it verifies traders for Single Window biometric checks. The card is posted to you. For a plain renewal this beats waiting for a NADRA slot.

Keep your NICOP valid if you hold another nationality. An expired NICOP can stop you boarding a flight to Pakistan without a visa.

The Riyadh embassy has a separate booking page

The Pakistan Embassy in Riyadh serves the central and eastern regions and has its own "Book an Appointment" link at appointment.pakistaninksa.com. Its passport counter takes applications from 07:00 to 13:00, Sunday to Thursday, according to its passport page.

When we opened Riyadh's booking link on 24 September, it showed only a page titled "Drive Test", so call the embassy before you travel.

Common questions

Can I still walk in at the Jeddah consulate without an appointment?

Not after 1 October 2026, according to the consulate's announcement as reported. Its web page asks applicants to book first.

Is there a fee to book an appointment?

We saw no booking fee on the portal. You pay the passport or NADRA fee at the counter on the day, starting at the fee counter.

Can Umrah visitors use the Jeddah consulate appointment system?

The form accepts a visa number or border number, so the system does not only take Iqama holders. A visitor with a lost passport usually needs an emergency travel document instead, and should call the consulate. Umrah travellers also need a NADRA vaccination card before leaving Pakistan.

How do I cancel or move my appointment?

Open View / Cancel Appointment on the portal and enter your tracking number. We did not see a reschedule button, so cancel and book again.

How long does a passport take after the Jeddah appointment?

The consulate lists four weeks for normal processing and two weeks for urgent.

Does the Jeddah consulate issue e-Passports?

Its passport page lists e-Passport fees in riyals, starting at SAR 150. It does not say from what date. After the reported 15 October cut-off, e-Passports are expected to be the only option.
