Eight trains run back from Multan Cantt. Two leave after midnight and reach Karachi the same evening. The other six reach Karachi the next morning or afternoon. Karachi Express is again the fastest, at 14 hours 35 minutes.

Fares run from Rs 2,750 to Rs 12,000 by class

Six trains charge Rs 2,750 for economy and Rs 5,900 for an AC Standard berth. Tezgam and Karachi Express charge more: Rs 3,750 economy, Rs 6,950 AC Standard and Rs 9,300 AC Business. Fares are the same in both directions.

Green Line and Pak Business did not show up for Multan

Green Line, Pak Business Express, Allama Iqbal Express and Fareed Express run from Karachi to Lahore. None of them appeared on our Karachi Cantt to Multan Cantt search. If you plan to take one of them, check the booking screen with your exact stations, because they may use a different stop or not sell this pair online.

Sleeper berths sell out first on this route. On our search from Karachi, Tezgam and Karachi Express had no AC Sleeper left, and Khyber Mail had no AC Standard, AC Business or AC Sleeper seats. Economy had seats on all eight trains. Seat counts change all day, so book AC early.
