Lahore Bus Terminals: Where Daewoo, Faisal Movers, Skyways and Niazi Leave From

Most intercity coaches leave Lahore from two areas: Thokar Niaz Baig at the Multan Road end of the city, and Band Road in the north. Daewoo and Skyways run from Thokar. Faisal Movers and Niazi Express are based on Band Road. The General Bus Stand at Badami Bagh is a shared stand.

Taxi drivers in Lahore will ask one question first: "Kaunsa adda?" Get the answer wrong and you lose an hour crossing the city. Below, the Lahore bus terminals are listed by area, with the phone numbers that the companies and the Punjab Transport Department publish themselves.

We read the Punjab Transport Department's list of public transport operators and its list of bus terminals in District Lahore on 28 September 2026. We also checked each company's own terminal page. Where a detail came only from map data, we say so.

Lahore bus terminals at a glance

Lahore has no single central bus station. Each large company runs its own terminal, and smaller operators share the government bus stands. Pick your company first, then your terminal. If you book intercity bus tickets online, the ticket names the departure terminal, so read it before you leave.

One honest warning. Phone numbers for bus companies change more often than addresses. If a number does not connect, call the company's UAN, which is the number that stays the same across cities.

Thokar Niaz Baig is the hub for Daewoo, Skyways and Jinnah Terminal

Thokar Niaz Baig sits where Multan Road leaves Lahore, next to the motorway entry. Daewoo, Skyways and the Jinnah Bus Terminal all operate here. It suits anyone travelling south or taking the M-2 north.

Daewoo Express, Lahore Thokar

Daewoo's own terminal page gives the address as Thokar Niaz Baig, between Multan Road and Mohlanwal Road, near a POS petrol pump. The terminal phone is 042-37498515. Its UAN, 042-111-007-008, runs 24 hours.

Daewoo's booking system lists Lahore Thokar as departure code 1. So when you book a Daewoo ticket online, check that the ticket says "Thokar" before you leave home. Daewoo also runs a shuttle point at Raiwind Markaz, near Gate No. 1, phone 0333-4412069.

Skyways and the Jinnah Bus Terminal

Skyways lists its Lahore terminal at Thokar Niaz Baig. The Punjab Transport Department gives Skyways' number as 042-111-555-567. The same department page lists the Jinnah Bus Terminal at Thokar, phone 042-37510875. It is also on the department's list of C class bus stands in Lahore.

Kalma Chowk is Daewoo's second Lahore departure point

Daewoo's booking system shows two Lahore departure points: Lahore Thokar and Lahore Kalma Chowk. Kalma Chowk is in central Lahore, on Ferozepur Road. It saves a long ride to Thokar if you live in Gulberg, Model Town or DHA.

The catch is that Kalma Chowk does not appear on Daewoo's terminal address page. It shows up only as a departure option when you book. So not every route may start there. Check the departure point on your ticket, and ring 042-111-007-008 if you are not sure.

Band Road is home to Faisal Movers and Niazi Express

Band Road runs through north-west Lahore near the Ravi. Faisal Movers and Niazi Express both give Band Road addresses. This side of the city suits anyone travelling towards Islamabad, Peshawar or the north.

Faisal Movers

Faisal Movers' Lahore terminal page gives the address as Band Road, Kot Kamboh, Lahore. Its contact page lists the Lahore office as "Abdullah Travels, Band Road". The Lahore UAN is 042-111-22-44-88.

Faisal Movers says its routes from Lahore go to Islamabad, Karachi, Multan, Faisalabad, Peshawar, Bahawalpur and Gilgit, and back. Its buses come in Economy, Business and Executive classes.

Niazi Express, often called Niazi Adda

Niazi Express gives its head office as Band Road, Shera Kot, Lahore. Its main number is 042-111-22-99-99. The Punjab Transport Department also lists 042-37467255 and 042-111-22-33-99 for the company. The department describes Niazi as running about 150 buses.

The department's list of Lahore bus terminals also names a separate "Niazi Express Lahore" stand, with the number 0300-8448833.

Badami Bagh General Bus Stand is a shared government stand

The General Bus Stand, listed by the Punjab Transport Department as "GBS Lahore", is one of four C class stands in District Lahore. Map data places it on Circular Road at Badami Bagh, north of the Walled City. It is a shared stand, not one company's terminal.

The four C class stands on the department's list are City Terminal Lahore, Jinnah Terminal Lahore, GBS Lahore and GBS Raiwind. Its list has no B class stand in Lahore at all.

The same list names nine smaller "D class" operator stands. Two examples are Rahber Travels, 0300-8422222, and Abdullah Express, 0300-8444375.

Badami Bagh is busy and crowded. Buy from the company's own counter, not from someone in the yard. And count your change, because fares there are often paid in cash.

How to reach the right Lahore terminal on time

Confirm the terminal on your ticket, allow for traffic, and arrive early. A missed bus can cost you a cancellation charge or the whole fare, depending on the company. Thokar Niaz Baig can take an hour from north Lahore at rush hour.

1. Check the departure terminal printed on your ticket or SMS, not just the city.
2. Match it to the area: Thokar Niaz Baig, Kalma Chowk, Band Road or Badami Bagh.
3. Call the terminal or UAN if the ticket only says "Lahore".
4. Leave at least 45 minutes for the ride to Thokar from central Lahore, and more at rush hour.
5. Reach the terminal early to check in and load luggage.

If you are driving someone to Thokar in winter, check fog and motorway closures first. Buses on the M-2 are held when the motorway police close it, and the terminal can fill up with waiting passengers.

How to complain about overcharging on a Lahore bus

The Punjab Transport Department takes complaints about fare overcharging and route permits on 042-99200484 and 042-99200329. For a big company, try the company's own complaint line first. Keep your ticket, since it shows the fare you paid.

The department's head office is Transport House, 11-A Egerton Road, Lahore, phone 042-99200475. It publishes its list of public transport operators with numbers for each company.

For travel inside the city rather than out of it, the Metro Bus and Orange Line fares are a cheaper way to reach a terminal.
