LESCO's approved list for 5 November 2026 has 120 feeders off from 9 am to 2 pm. Kasur has 33, Sheikhupura 18. See Lahore feeders by area and who to call.

LESCO has approved 120 planned power shutdowns for Thursday 5 November 2026, and every one runs from 9 am to 2 pm. Kasur circle has the most, with 33 feeders. Sheikhupura has 18, and Okara and Nankana have 15 each. Inside Lahore city, the list includes feeders in Mustafa Town, Gulberg, Cantt, Gulshan-e-Ravi, Baghbanpura, Mughalpura, Township and Raiwind.
We read LESCO's own file, "Approved Shut Down on 05-11-2026", on the LESCO load shedding and shutdown page at about 3:30 am on 5 November. Below: the count for each circle, the Lahore feeders by name, the three entries LESCO cancelled, and what to do if your power stays off after 2 pm.
120 LESCO feeders are off from 9 am to 2 pm on 5 November
The approved list for 5 November has 120 entries across all nine LESCO circles. Each entry gives the circle, division, sub division, feeder code, feeder name, grid station and the time. The time column shows 0900-1400 on every row, which is 9 am to 2 pm.
Most of the work is routine. The remarks column mentions tree trimming, setting right jumpers, replacing bus bars and fuse fittings, and fixing loose sag in lines. Some Lahore feeders are marked "Annual Shut Down", which is the yearly maintenance each feeder gets.

Lahore city feeders on the 5 November list
Lahore's four city circles have 32 feeders on the list. If your area is below, plan for no power from 9 am to 2 pm. Charge phones and power banks, fill water tanks early and keep fridge doors shut.
- Mustafa Town and Allama Iqbal Town: Canal View, Industrial-II and Mustafa Town-II feeders of the 132 kV Allama Iqbal Town grid, on annual shutdown.
- Gulberg: Ghauri and Ghulam Rasool Shaheed feeders in Liberty sub division, from the 132 kV Garden Town grid.
- Cantt: Sarfraz Rafiqi Road, Supply Road-2, Askari-9 and one commercial feeder of the 132 kV Ghazi New grid.
- Defence: one Sitara Colony feeder of the 132 kV Lefo grid.
- Kot Lakhpat: New Saroba feeder in Hamza Town, from the 220 kV grid, and Shoaib Mughal feeder in Liaqatabad.
- Gulshan-e-Ravi and Samanabad: Gulshan Ravi, Commercial Area and Multan Road feeders.
- Ravi Road and Ferozewala: Malik Park and Meraj Park feeders of the 132 kV Rustam grid.
- Baghbanpura and Mughalpura: Madho Lal Hussain, Muslim Abad, Madina Town and one Harbanspura feeder.
- Shalamar and McLeod Road: Riaz Ahmad Road feeder and Akbari Gate feeder near Delhi Gate.
- Sabzazar and Awan Town: Awan Town and Mustafa Park feeders.
- Johar Town, Shadman and Raiwind: Lajana Chowk feeder of the Township grid, one G.O.R feeder of the Shadman grid, and Mir Pur Jhuggian and Pine Avenue feeders of the Valencia grid.
A feeder name does not always match a neighbourhood name. The surest test is the feeder name or code printed on your bill. Our guide to checking a planned LESCO shutdown shows where it sits on the bill.
Kasur, Okara, Sheikhupura and Nankana feeders are the bulk
Outside Lahore city, 88 feeders are on the list. Kasur district is hit hardest, through the Kasur, Kasur New, Khuddian, Kanganpur, Pattoki, Manga Mandi and Raiwind grids.
These are the main grid stations outside Lahore city with feeders off on 5 November:
- Manga Mandi (132 kV): 14 feeders, including seven textile and industrial feeders and Wapda Town Kasur.
- Kasur and Kasur New (132 kV): 18 feeders across Kasur City, Kasur Rural, Bulleh Shah and Niaz Nagar.
- Sharaqpur Road and Sheikhupura (132 kV): 10 feeders in Sheikhupura's fort and city divisions.
- Haveli Lakha and Hujra Shah Muqeem (132 kV): 10 feeders in Depalpur and Hujra divisions of Okara.
- Pattoki, Raiwind and Sadar Gogera (132 kV): 12 feeders in Phool Nagar, Kot Radha Kishan and Okara's Ravi sub division.
Smaller numbers are listed at Nankana, Mohlan, Sangla Hill, Shahkot, Warburton, Narang, Jundiala Sher Khan and Bucheki. Several Okara entries are marked "for safety", which means a nearby feeder is shut while crews work on another line.

Three entries are cancelled because those feeders are already off
Three feeders on the 5 November list carry a note: "Cancelled due to already off with annual shut down on 31-10-2026". They are the More Khunda feeder in Bucheki division, the Mangtan Wala feeder in Nankana division, and one Faizabad feeder of the Sharaq Pur grid, also in Nankana division.
LESCO's note says these feeders were already shut for annual maintenance on 31 October, so they will not get a second shutdown today. That leaves 117 feeders with work actually planned. If you are on one of the three, you should have normal supply, unless a fault comes up.
What to do if power is still off after 2 pm
A planned shutdown can run late. If your feeder is still dark at about 2:30 pm, report it rather than waiting. LESCO's complaint numbers are on its own website.
| Where to complain | Number or route |
|---|---|
| LESCO helpline | 118 from any phone |
| LESCO complaint cell | 042-111-000-118, 0320-0520888, 042-99205461 |
| SMS complaint | 8118 |
| Track a complaint | CCMS ticket number from your SMS |
Keep your 14-digit reference number ready, because LESCO logs the complaint against it. Our pages on the LESCO complaint numbers and on tracking a CCMS complaint cover each route. For a fault that needs a line crew, your sub division's SDO is often faster; see the LESCO SDO and XEN numbers.
LESCO posts each day's list on its website
LESCO uploads a new approved shutdown file for each working day. It sits on the "Load Shedding/Shutdown Schedule" page of lesco.gov.pk, under the heading "Shutdown Schedule". The same page also links the current load management schedule, which is separate from these maintenance shutdowns.
A shutdown is planned work with a fixed window. Load management, often called load shedding, is a cut by feeder loss category. Our guide to the load shedding schedule by reference number explains the second kind.
Gujranwala, Sialkot and Gujrat consumers are on GEPCO, not LESCO. GEPCO publishes its own list, as it did for 3 November.
Common questions
What time is the LESCO shutdown on 5 November 2026?
9 am to 2 pm. Every one of the 120 entries on LESCO's approved list shows 0900-1400.
How many LESCO feeders are off on 5 November?
The list has 120 entries. Three are cancelled because those feeders were already shut on 31 October, so work is planned on 117.
Which LESCO circle has the most shutdowns today?
Kasur circle, with 33 feeders. Sheikhupura has 18, Okara and Nankana 15 each, and Lahore's Central circle 14.
Is Gulberg on the LESCO shutdown list today?
Yes. The Ghauri and Ghulam Rasool Shaheed feeders in Liberty sub division, from the Garden Town grid, are off from 9 am to 2 pm.
How do I know my feeder name?
It is printed on your LESCO bill with the feeder code. Match that name or code against the list, not your neighbourhood name.
Who do I call if power does not return after 2 pm?
Call 118 or send an SMS to 8118 with your 14-digit reference number, and keep the CCMS ticket number you get back.
How we verified this
What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.
Last checked about 3:30 am PKT on 5 November 2026. We read the file "Approved Shut Down on 05-11-2026" linked from the LESCO load shedding and shutdown schedule page, and matched circle numbers to area names using LESCO's own e-Kachehri page, which lists the divisions in each circle. Complaint numbers are from the LESCO website. LESCO can change a shutdown on the day for weather or an emergency, so check the page again before you plan around it.
