LHC Cause List Check Online: Lahore High Court Regular, Urgent and Supplementary Lists for All 4 Seats
LHC cause list online: check the Lahore High Court regular, urgent and supplementary lists by date, seat, case number, party or lawyer name, then save as PDF.

The Lahore High Court cause list is online at data.lhc.gov.pk, under Case Management. Pick the Regular, Urgent or Supplementary list, choose the hearing date and seat, then search by case number, party name or your lawyer's name, code, CNIC or mobile number. It is free and needs no login. When we checked on 4 November 2026, the regular list offered every working day from Monday 2 to Friday 6 November, plus a Full List option.
A cause list is the court's daily timetable. It names each case fixed for hearing, the judge or bench, and the order in which cases will be called. If your case is on it, you or your lawyer must be in court. Below is how to read the LHC lists and the filters that save you scrolling through hundreds of entries.
The LHC publishes three kinds of cause list
The Case Management menu on lhc.gov.pk links three lists. Each one answers a slightly different question, so check all three if your case matters this week.
| List | What it holds | When to check it |
|---|---|---|
| Regular Cause List | Cases fixed for the week, by date | Every working day of the week your case may come up |
| Urgent Cause List | Cases fixed at short notice as urgent | When your lawyer filed an urgent application |
| Supplementary Cause List | Cases added after the regular list was issued | The evening before, and the morning of, any likely date |
| Roster of Sittings | Which judge sits where and on which days | When you need to know the bench, not the case |
| Diary Objection Cases | New petitions held back by office objections | When a fresh petition has not been fixed at all |

The regular cause list has eleven filters
The regular list is long. The filters are what make it usable. We recorded these on 4 November 2026.
- In the Court of: All Courts, or a single judge from the Chief Justice down.
- Color: All, Yellow, Red, Light Green, Light Pink or Peach.
- For the Bench: All Benches, Single Bench, Division Bench, Full Bench, Larger Bench, Ehtisab Bench, Special Bench or Election Tribunal Bench.
- Hearing Date: each working day of the current week, or Full List.
- Location: All, Principal Seat, Bahawalpur Bench, Multan Bench or Rawalpindi Bench.
- Case No and Party(ies).
- Lawyer Code, Lawyer Name, Lawyer CNIC and Lawyer Mobile.
The colour filter refers to the colour codes the court uses to group cases on its lists. The page itself does not explain what each colour means, so ask your lawyer or the court's information desk before you read anything into it.
Six steps find your case on the LHC cause list
- Open lhc.gov.pk, click Case Management, then Regular Cause List.
- Set Location to the seat where your case was filed.
- Choose a Hearing Date, or Full List to see the whole week.
- Type your case number. If you do not have it, use a party name.
- No luck? Search by your lawyer's name or code instead. Lawyers often have several cases fixed together.
- Repeat the search on the Supplementary and Urgent lists, then use Export to PDF to save what you find.

Searching by lawyer is the trick most people miss. A party name like "Muhammad Ali" can return dozens of matches. Your lawyer's CNIC or mobile number returns only that lawyer's cases.
A sudden courtroom change is possible, so check again on the day
The regular list page carries a short warning: "There might be a sudden change in the Court Room and we regret for the inconvenience caused therein." In plain words, the court room printed on the list can change at short notice.
So check the list twice: the evening before, and again in the morning before you leave. When you reach the court, the Live Proceedings page at ocpweb.lhc.gov.pk shows which cases are being heard in each bench at that moment. It is a table, not a video. Use it to judge how close your turn is.
Your case is not on the list: what it usually means
There are four common reasons, and only one is a real problem.
- Wrong seat or date. Run the search with Location set to All and Hearing Date set to Full List.
- Added late. The case may be on the Supplementary list, not the regular one.
- Still in the diary stage. A new petition with an office objection sits on the Diary Objection Cases list until the objection is cleared.
- Not fixed this week. Check the Last Hearing Status page to see what the court ordered last time. Our LHC case status guide walks through it.
If a person calls to say your case is fixed and asks for money to "keep the date", hang up. Cause lists are public. Real court notices do not come with a payment request. Our guide on checking a court notice is genuine shows the warning signs, and they apply in Punjab as well.
District court cause lists are on the district websites
The LHC lists cover the High Court only. Each Punjab district court has its own site under dc.lhc.gov.pk, for example lahore.dc.lhc.gov.pk, with its own Cause List page. Our Punjab district court guide covers those. For the Supreme Court, see our Supreme Court cause list guide.
Common questions
Where is the Lahore High Court cause list for tomorrow?
On data.lhc.gov.pk under Case Management, Regular Cause List. Pick tomorrow's date in the Hearing Date filter. Also check the Supplementary list, which is added later.
Can I search the LHC cause list by lawyer name?
Yes. The regular list has Lawyer Code, Lawyer Name, Lawyer CNIC and Lawyer Mobile fields. This is often faster than a party name.
Does the LHC cause list cover Rawalpindi, Multan and Bahawalpur?
Yes. The Location filter offers the Principal Seat in Lahore and the Rawalpindi, Multan and Bahawalpur Benches.
Can I download the LHC cause list as a PDF?
Yes. The list page has an Export to PDF link that saves your filtered results.
What is the Roster of Sittings?
It shows which judges sit at which seat and on which days. It tells you the bench, not your case. Use it alongside the cause list.
How we verified this
What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.
We opened the Lahore High Court Case Management page, the Regular Cause List and the Live Proceedings table on 4 November 2026. We recorded the filters and the courtroom warning but did not search for a real case, and the court does not publish what each list colour means on that page.
