LHC case status check online: search the Lahore High Court by case number or party name at 4 seats, with cause lists, live hearings and certified copies.
To check a Lahore High Court case status online, open the Last Hearing Status page at data.lhc.gov.pk, choose the seat (Principal Seat Lahore, Rawalpindi, Multan or Bahawalpur), then search by case number or party name. It is free and needs no login. The same Case Management menu also shows the cause lists, the live hearing tracker and the status of a certified copy request.
We opened every Case Management page on the Lahore High Court website on 4 November 2026 and recorded the search fields each one asks for. Below is what each tool does, which one to use for which question, and what to do when your case does not show up.
The Last Hearing Status page is the main LHC case status tool
The Last Hearing Status page tells you what happened at the last hearing of a case. It is the closest thing the Lahore High Court has to a single case status search. You reach it from lhc.gov.pk, then Case Management, then Last Hearing Status.
The search form has five fields. You do not need to fill all of them. One good field is usually enough.

The results can be saved with the Export to PDF link on the same page. Keep that PDF. It is a useful record to show your lawyer or family.
Five steps check a Lahore High Court case in under two minutes
- Open lhc.gov.pk and click Case Management in the top menu.
- Click Last Hearing Status. The form opens on data.lhc.gov.pk.
- Pick the Location. Choose the seat where the case was filed, not where you live.
- Type the case number, or a party name if you do not have the number.
- Read the result, then use Export to PDF to keep a copy.
If the page shows "Please wait..." for a long time, wait a moment and reload. The form loads in stages. A slow mobile connection is the usual cause.
Pick the right seat or your case will not appear
The Lahore High Court sits in four places. The Principal Seat is in Lahore. The other three are the Rawalpindi Bench, the Multan Bench and the Bahawalpur Bench. Each search page on data.lhc.gov.pk asks you to pick one of these four.
The most common reason a case "is not found" is the wrong seat. A writ petition filed in Rawalpindi is listed under the Rawalpindi Bench only. If you are not sure, run the same case number under each of the four seats. It takes a minute.
The second common reason is a case that is still at the diary stage. A new petition gets a diary number first. If the office raises an objection, it sits on the Diary Objection Cases list until it is fixed. That list is also under Case Management.
Other LHC tools answer the questions the status page cannot
The Case Management menu has nine items. Four of them matter most to a litigant or a family member following a case.

Live Proceedings sits at ocpweb.lhc.gov.pk. Despite the name, it is not a video stream. When we opened it on 4 November 2026 it was a table of cases in progress, with the bench, cause list type, sequence number, case number, diary number and title. It showed "No in-progress cases found" at the time we checked. On a working day it helps you judge how close your turn is.

The LHC Case Management app works on Android and iPhone
The Lahore High Court links two official apps from its home page. The Android app is listed on Google Play under the package name pk.gov.pitb.lhccasemanagement. The iPhone app is listed on the App Store as Lahore High Court. Both are linked from lhc.gov.pk, so install them from those links rather than searching the store, where copycat apps can appear.
Use the website if the app fails to load. The website and the app read the same case data.
District court cases are on a different system
The Lahore High Court search covers cases in the High Court only. A civil suit, family case, bail application or criminal trial in a district or sessions court is on the Punjab district judiciary system. See our guide on checking a Punjab district court case status.

Refuse anyone who calls offering to speed up your case
Case status is public and free. Nobody needs your CNIC, a fee or an OTP to tell you a hearing date. A caller who says they work for the court and can "fix" your date for money is a warning sign. The Lahore High Court lists complaints@lhc.gov.pk and WhatsApp 0300-0348050 for complaints. The main switchboard is +92 42 99212951 to 66.
Common questions
How do I check my Lahore High Court case status by name?
Open Last Hearing Status on data.lhc.gov.pk, choose the seat, and type a party name in the Party(ies) field. A common name returns many cases, so add the seat and judge if you know them.
Is the LHC case status check free?
Yes. All the Case Management pages on lhc.gov.pk are open to the public with no login and no fee.
Why can I not find my case on the LHC website?
The usual causes are the wrong seat, a typing error in the case number, or a new petition that is still on the Diary Objection Cases list. Try all four seats before you worry.
Can I see the next hearing date online?
The cause lists show cases fixed for the coming working days. When we checked, the regular cause list offered dates for the current week, from Monday 2 to Friday 6 November 2026.
Does the LHC website cover district court cases in Punjab?
No. District and sessions court cases are on the Punjab district judiciary system, which the LHC website links under District Judiciary.

We opened the Lahore High Court Case Management page, the Last Hearing Status search, the Certified Copy Status search, the Live Proceedings table and the contact page on 4 November 2026. We read the search fields but did not run a search on a real case, so we have not described the result layout field by field.
