Punjab District Court Case Status Check Online: Search by FIR, Cause List and All 36 District Sites
Check a Punjab district court case online: search by FIR, police station and date, open the cause list on dsj.punjab.gov.pk, and find all 36 district sites.

To check a district court case in Punjab, open your district's court website, such as lahore.dc.lhc.gov.pk, and use Search By FIR or the Cause List. The district judiciary system at dsj.punjab.gov.pk also lets you pick any of 36 districts and search cases by police station. Both are free and need no login. The full list of district sites is linked from the Lahore High Court's District Judiciary page.
We opened the Lahore district site and the Punjab district judiciary portal on 4 November 2026 and recorded what each search asks for. Criminal cases are easiest to find by FIR. Civil and family cases are easiest to find on the cause list with the court's name.
Every Punjab district has its own court website
The Lahore High Court lists a website for each district court on its District Judiciary menu. Each one follows the same pattern: the district name, then .dc.lhc.gov.pk. These are some of the 36:
| District | District court website |
|---|---|
| Lahore | lahore.dc.lhc.gov.pk |
| Rawalpindi | rawalpindi.dc.lhc.gov.pk |
| Faisalabad | faisalabad.dc.lhc.gov.pk |
| Multan | multan.dc.lhc.gov.pk |
| Gujranwala | gujranwala.dc.lhc.gov.pk |
| Sialkot | sialkot.dc.lhc.gov.pk |
| Bahawalpur | bahawalpur.dc.lhc.gov.pk |
| Sargodha | sargodha.dc.lhc.gov.pk |
| Rahim Yar Khan | rahimyarkhan.dc.lhc.gov.pk |
| Mandi Bahauddin | mbdin.dc.lhc.gov.pk |
| Toba Tek Singh | ttsingh.dc.lhc.gov.pk |
Watch the short forms. Mandi Bahauddin is "mbdin", Toba Tek Singh is "ttsingh", Nankana Sahib is "nankana" and Dera Ghazi Khan is "dgkhan". If a link fails, open lhc.gov.pk, click District Judiciary and choose your district from the list there.
Each district site has four case tools
The Lahore district site, which we opened on 4 November 2026, lists these under Case Information. We opened only the Lahore site in detail, so expect small differences in other districts.
- Cause List: cases fixed for hearing, by court.
- Search By FIR: find a criminal case from its FIR.
- Judgments and Orders: decisions uploaded by the district courts.
- Case Management System: a link to the Punjab district judiciary portal, dsj.punjab.gov.pk.

Search By FIR finds a criminal case in five steps
The FIR search needs three things: the FIR number, the police station and a date. On the Lahore site the police station list runs to about 150 stations.
- Open your district court site, for example lahore.dc.lhc.gov.pk.
- Click Search By FIR under Case Information.
- Type the FIR number exactly as it is on your FIR copy.
- Pick the police station from the list.
- Pick the date from the calendar and search.

The form has no separate year field. The year comes from the date you choose in the calendar. Use the FIR registration date printed on your copy. If you do not have the FIR, our guide on checking a Punjab FIR online shows how to find it, and our guide on free copies of the FIR and police report explains your right to them.
The dsj.punjab.gov.pk portal covers all 36 districts
The Punjab district judiciary portal at dsj.punjab.gov.pk has two public boxes on its front page.
| Box | What you choose | Check before it runs |
|---|---|---|
| Cause List | District, then court name | A simple sum, such as 5 + 2 |
| Search Case | District, then police station | A simple sum, such as 6 + 3 |
The district list runs from Attock to Vehari, 36 districts in all. The small sum is a check that you are a person, not a robot. Answer it, then press View or Search.
Use the cause list box for civil, family and rent cases, where there is no FIR. You need the name of the court, for example the civil judge or family judge hearing the case. Your lawyer or the summons will give it.
Commercial cases in five cities have their own e-filing
The Lahore High Court's commercial courts site says Punjab has designated commercial courts in Lahore, Multan, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala and Faisalabad. It links an e-filing portal at dsjlahore.punjab.gov.pk/efiling and its own case reports, such as single case progress and time to disposition. If your dispute is a business contract case in one of those cities, check that site first.
When the online search fails, go to the court's facilitation desk
Online records lag behind the court file, sometimes by days. The date the judge wrote on the order sheet is the one that counts. If your search returns nothing, check three things: the right district, the exact FIR number, and the right date. Then ask your lawyer or visit the district court's facilitation desk with your case number or FIR copy.
Once your case reaches the Lahore High Court on appeal or revision, switch to our LHC case status guide. Our all-courts guide covers other provinces.

How we verified this
What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.
We opened the LHC District Judiciary page and district links, the Lahore district court site and its Search By FIR page, the Punjab district judiciary portal and the LHC commercial courts site on 4 November 2026. We did not run a search on a real case, so we have not described the result screens.
