LUMS Admission 2027 Last Date: Undergraduate Deadline 27 January, SAT, LCAT and Every Programme

The last date to apply for LUMS undergraduate admission for Fall 2027 is Wednesday 27 January 2027 at 5 pm PKT. Supporting documents and the application fee are due by 12 am on 28 January. The SAT must be taken by 6 March 2027, the LUMS Common Admission Test (LCAT) is on 21 March 2027, and decisions come between 15 April and 30 July 2027.

We read the LUMS admissions office's critical dates and undergraduate programme pages on 1 November 2026. The online application is already open. Below are every Fall 2027 date, the programmes by school, the test choices and the order in which a student in Pakistan should do things.

LUMS Fall 2027 undergraduate applications close on 27 January 2027

The online application deadline is 5 pm PKT on Wednesday 27 January 2027. Supporting documents and the fee are due by 12 am on Thursday 28 January. Financial aid forms close on 26 February, and admission decisions run from 15 April to 30 July 2027.

The document deadline of "12:00 am on 28 January" means the start of that day. In practice it is the midnight right after the 5 pm application deadline on 27 January. Do not plan to upload on the afternoon of the 28th.

Applicants choose the SAT by 6 March, the LCAT on 21 March or the ACT by 10 April

LUMS lists three test deadlines for Fall 2027: the SAT must be taken by 6 March 2027, the LCAT sits on 21 March 2027, and the ACT must be taken by 10 April 2027. The LUMS profile of the Class of 2030 reports an average SAT score of 1400.

That 1400 is an average, not a cut-off. Students below it are admitted and students above it are refused, because LUMS reads the whole file. Still, it tells you where the middle of the class sits.

The 6 March SAT deadline matches a real SAT sitting. The College Board's international dates for 2026 to 2027 include 5 December 2026 and 6 March 2027. To sit on 6 March, register by 19 February 2027. For a December attempt with time for a retake, register by 20 November 2026.

The SAT costs US$68 plus a US$43 international fee for students outside the US, according to the College Board, so US$111 in all. Students who do not want to pay in dollars take the LCAT instead.

Five LUMS schools offer undergraduate degrees in 2027

The five schools are the Suleman Dawood School of Business, the Mushtaq Ahmad Gurmani School of Humanities and Social Sciences, the School of Education, the Syed Babar Ali School of Science and Engineering, and the Shaikh Ahmad Hassan School of Law. Each selects students for its own programmes.

• Education: BSc (Hons) Educational Psychology.
• Science and Engineering (SBASSE): BS Biology, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Computer Science, Economics and Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics.
• Law (SAHSOL): BA-LL.B (Hons).

The LUMS application takes seven steps on the online portal

You create an account on the LUMS online admissions portal, fill in the form, upload documents from the checklist, download and pay the fee voucher, register for a test and arrange two teacher evaluations where needed. The fee amount appears on the system voucher, not on the public page.

1. Create an account on the LUMS online admissions portal at admissions.lums.edu.pk.
2. Fill in the application and choose your school and programme.
3. Upload scanned documents as listed in the LUMS document checklist.
4. Download the system-generated fee voucher and pay it before 12 am on 28 January 2027.
5. Register for the SAT, the LCAT or the ACT, and send the score.
6. Ask two teachers for evaluations or letters of recommendation, where your programme needs them.
7. Submit the financial aid form by 26 February 2027 if you need help with fees.

Fees at LUMS are high, and aid is the reason many families can consider it. Students from low-income homes with strong grades should look at the LUMS National Outreach Programme for 2027, which has its own earlier process.

LUMS graduate programmes have a later deadline of 6 April 2027

Most LUMS master's programmes for Fall 2027 close on 6 April 2027 at 5 pm, with GMAT, GRE or HAT-II scores due by 18 April. Classes are expected to begin on 23 August 2027. Undergraduate and graduate applicants should not mix up these two calendars.

We read the LUMS critical dates for all programmes and its undergraduate programmes page on 1 November 2026, and the College Board's SAT dates and deadlines and international fees pages the same day. The application fee amount was not on any public LUMS page we read. The undergraduate programmes page still shows some older sections, including a 2023 test date, so we relied on the critical dates page for every Fall 2027 date.
