Meezan Plus holders with Rs 200,000 skip most fees
The Meezan Plus Account waives card annual fees, all-transaction SMS alerts, stop payments, certificates and duplicate statements if you kept a monthly average balance of Rs 200,000 or more in the previous month. The PayPak, Visa Silver, Mastercard Classic and Visa Gold cards are issued free on this account.
Follow these steps to check whether you qualify:
- Open the Meezan app and look at last month's average balance, or ask the branch.
- Confirm it was Rs 200,000 or more. The bank checks only the previous month.
- Pick one of the four free cards if you have none yet.
- Expect normal charges in any month after your balance drops below the line.
Premium customers get wider waivers, but the balance bar is much higher. Visa Infinite needs at least Rs 1 million to be issued, and a Rs 3,750 monthly fee applies if a premium customer stops meeting its criteria.

How we verified this
What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.
We read Meezan Bank's Schedule of Service Charges, July to December 2026 on 4 November 2026. The Rs 50 IBFT example is our arithmetic. The ATM and international lines sit in a misaligned table, which we matched line by line; pay order and cheque book lines did not line up clearly, so we leave them out. Meezan's call centre is 111-331-331, as printed on its profit rate sheet. For savings returns at the same bank, see the Meezan saving account profit rate.
