Meta Verified in Pakistan: Blue Tick Price for Instagram and Facebook, Every Plan and Rule
Meta Verified blue tick costs $11.99 to $499.99 a month. Every plan, the CNIC and name rules, how to check if it opens in Pakistan, and why agents are scams.

Meta Verified, the paid blue tick for Instagram and Facebook, lists its Standard plan at US$14.99 a month in the app or US$11.99 on the web, with Plus at $49.99, Premium at $149.99 and Max at $499.99. Meta says it is not available in every region, and the only way to see whether it is open in Pakistan, and at what local price, is to start the sign-up in your own app. Below: every plan, the eligibility rules, the ID check, and the catches that matter before you pay in dollars from a Pakistani card.
The blue tick has become a status symbol for Pakistani creators, small brands and anyone tired of fake accounts using their photos. We read Meta's Meta Verified page and its Facebook and Instagram eligibility pages on 24 October 2026. Meta also now says Meta Verified features are available in Meta One, a new subscription that builds on Meta Verified.
Meta Verified costs $11.99 to $499.99 a month
Meta lists four creator plans. Standard is $14.99 a month per profile in the app and $11.99 on the web, the discount Meta offers for web sign-up. Plus, Premium and Max cost $49.99, $149.99 and $499.99 and are sold only in the mobile apps.
| Plan | Monthly price (US$) | Where to buy | Main extras |
|---|---|---|---|
| Standard | $11.99 web, $14.99 app | Web or app | Badge, impersonation protection, support |
| Plus | $49.99 | App only | Faster support, 2 links in Reels a month |
| Premium | $149.99 | App only | Request a call, 4 links in Reels a month |
| Max | $499.99 | App only | Active case monitoring, 6 links in Reels a month |
These are Meta's general dollar prices. Meta says pricing and plans may vary, and may not be available at all if Meta Verified has not rolled out in your region. It tells users to begin the sign-up on Facebook or Instagram to see local pricing. We could not see a Pakistani price, because we did not run the sign-up from a Pakistani account.
Your bank matters too. Paying a dollar subscription from a Pakistani debit or credit card can add the bank's own conversion charges, so the rupee amount on your statement may differ from the dollar price.

Five rules decide whether you can subscribe
Meta's eligibility list has five subscriber rules: be at least 18, live in a country where Meta Verified is available, have an eligible profile, hold a government photo ID, and not have changed your profile too often just before applying.
- You are at least 18, or the age of majority where you live.
- You are located in a country where Meta Verified is available.
- Your Instagram or Facebook profile is a personal or creator profile with a name and photo that meet Meta's naming standards.
- You have a government-issued photo ID, such as a CNIC or passport.
- You have not passed the limit on recent changes to your profile name, photo, username, location or profile type.
Meta adds three profile rules: Advanced Protection must be turned on, the profile must meet minimum activity requirements, and it must follow the Terms and Community Standards. A brand-new account with no posts will not pass. Meta does not publish the activity threshold.
Business Pages fall under a separate Meta Verified for businesses product. The creator plan above covers personal and creator profiles only. You can verify up to two profiles on one Meta account, one Instagram and one Facebook, and Meta says both may need similar names and photos.

The ID check needs your real name on the profile
Meta may ask for a government-issued ID and, in some regions, a selfie video. The ID may need to match the profile name and photo of the account you are verifying. After approval, you may not be able to change your username or date of birth without verifying again.
This is where many Pakistani applications will stumble. A profile called "Ali Official 786" with a cartoon photo will not match a CNIC that says Ali Hassan. Change the name and photo first, then wait before applying, because Meta also limits recent profile changes. The order matters.
| Check | What Meta may ask |
|---|---|
| Identity | Government-issued photo ID |
| Face match | Selfie video, in selected regions |
| Name | ID matching the profile name and photo |
| After approval | Re-verify before changing username or date of birth |
Meta's blue tick does not prove an account is famous. Meta says the badge means the profile was verified based on activity across its apps, or on information or documents you provided. Older verified badges given under earlier rules stay as they are.

What the blue tick buys you, and what it does not
Every plan includes the badge, impersonation protection, where Meta removes accounts it decides are pretending to be you, and enhanced support. Meta notes that 24/7 email and chat support may not be available to all subscribers yet.
The support part is the real value for many Pakistanis. Meta has no general public phone number for customer service, and its Help Centre says Meta Verified subscribers get email and chat support for account issues. If your account has been hacked before, that access can matter more than the badge.
It does not buy reach that pays. Meta Verified is not a monetization programme, and most Meta earning tools are not open to Pakistan; the details sit in Facebook Content Monetization for Pakistani creators. And it will not protect a weak account: you still need two-step verification on.
If someone is already copying your profile, you do not need to pay to act. The free route to report a fake Facebook or Instagram account pretending to be you works for everyone.
Do not buy a blue tick from agents
Meta Verified is sold only by Meta, inside Facebook, Instagram or on Meta's web sign-up. Sellers offering a "verified badge" for a one-time payment in Easypaisa or JazzCash are not part of Meta's process. Handing them your password puts the whole account at risk.
A badge obtained through someone else's ID would fail Meta's rule that the ID match your profile. And if an account is hacked after you share the login, recovering it starts at recovering a hacked Instagram account, with no badge to help.
Common questions
Is Meta Verified available in Pakistan?
We could not confirm it. Meta says it is available in select regions and tells you to start the sign-up in the app to check. If the option is missing, it is not open for your account.
How much is the Instagram blue tick in Pakistani rupees?
Meta publishes dollar prices only. The app shows local pricing during sign-up where it is available; your card may add conversion charges.
Can I verify both Instagram and Facebook with one subscription?
Yes, if both are linked in the same Meta account. Meta says a two-profile bundle is offered at a discounted price to eligible creators.
Can I change my username after getting verified?
Meta says you may not be able to change your username or date of birth without going through verification again.
Does the blue tick increase my reach or earnings?
Meta lists search optimization and featured profile among plan benefits, but the subscription itself does not pay you.
How we verified this
What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.
We read Meta's Meta Verified page, the Facebook and Instagram eligibility requirements for Meta Verified creator subscriptions and Meta's phone support page on 24 October 2026. We could not verify whether Meta Verified is open to Pakistani accounts, the local price, or which payment methods work from Pakistan.
