National Assembly Session Today in Pakistan: Check the Agenda, Watch Live and Track Any Bill (NA and Senate)
Check the National Assembly agenda for today on na.gov.pk, find the official video channel and track a bill. The NA met at 11 am on 28 October 2026. See how.

To see what the National Assembly of Pakistan is doing today, open the Orders of the Day on na.gov.pk, under Legislative Business. It lists every bill, resolution and question for the sitting. Its official site links one video channel, YouTube @NaofPakistan, and the Senate posts its own agenda on senate.gov.pk.
Today's sitting, Wednesday 28 October 2026, started at 11:00 am, and the Senate meets on Thursday 29 October at 3:00 pm. Below is today's agenda in plain words, where each official record sits, and how to check whether a bill you care about has passed.
The Orders of the Day list everything on today's agenda
The Orders of the Day are the official agenda for one sitting. The National Assembly Secretariat publishes them the evening before, as a PDF on na.gov.pk. Each item is numbered, and only listed business can be taken up, apart from points raised by members.

Here is the agenda for 28 October 2026, as published on 27 October by the Acting Secretary, Saeed Ahmad Maitla:
| Item on 28 October 2026 | What it is |
|---|---|
| Calling attention on tuberculosis | Rising TB cases, put at about 140 deaths a day in the notice |
| Petroleum Levy and Climate Support Levy (Amendment) Bill, 2026 | To be introduced by the Petroleum Minister |
| Railway Board Bill, 2026 | To be introduced by the Railways Minister |
| OGRA (Amendment) Ordinance, 2026 | Resolution to extend it by 120 days from 28 October |
| Frontier Constabulary (Re-organization) Bill, 2025 | Clause by clause, then to be passed |
| Calling attention on Islamabad schools' extra fees | Transport and other charges in Federal Directorate of Education schools |
The agenda also lists education bills already passed by the Senate and two motions to send bills to a joint sitting. The TB figure is the movers' own wording in the notice, not a Health Ministry statistic.
Watch the National Assembly live on its YouTube channel
The National Assembly links one video channel from its official site: YouTube, @NaofPakistan. That is the place to look for sitting video. The site also links Facebook, X and Instagram accounts for short updates.
The site itself has no live video page, and we did not test a stream during a sitting. So if you see a "live" link elsewhere, check that it leads to the channel linked from na.gov.pk. The site also has a Common Man's Gallery page under About NA.
Check whether a bill has been introduced or passed
Bills move through separate lists on na.gov.pk under Legislative Business. Introduction, passage by the Assembly and becoming an Act are three different stages, and each appears in its own list. A bill on today's agenda has not passed until it shows in the passed list.

- Open na.gov.pk and go to Legislative Business.
- Choose Bills Introduced in NA, split into government and private members' bills.
- Then check Bills Passed by NA for the same title.
- For a bill that also needs the Senate, check senate.gov.pk the same way.
- Look under Acts of Parliament once the President has signed it.
A bill passed by one House goes to the other, and then to the President. Each step is explained in how a bill becomes law in Pakistan. Once an Act is in force, its text is on the official code, as set out in checking the latest text of a federal law.
Every official record has its own page on na.gov.pk
The Assembly site keeps each type of record in a separate list. Knowing which one you need saves time.
| You want | Where on na.gov.pk |
|---|---|
| Today's agenda | Orders of the Day |
| Questions and ministers' written answers | Questions |
| What happened in the sitting | Daily Bulletin and Debates |
| Ordinances the government laid | Ordinance Laid |
| Resolutions passed | Resolutions |
| Your MNA's details | Members, Complete MNA List |
| Committee meetings today | Committees, Committee Meetings |
The Debates list lags behind. On 28 October the latest debate posted was from 13 October, so for yesterday's sitting the press releases and the daily bulletin are faster. To reach your own member, find your MNA and constituency.

The Senate posts its agenda and answers separately
The Senate is a separate House with its own site, senate.gov.pk. Under House Business it lists Orders of the Day, Questions and Answers, Hansard, Daily Journals and the provisional calendar. Its next sitting is on Thursday 29 October 2026 at 3:00 pm.
Many Senate written answers are scanned images inside PDFs, so text search does not always find them. The Senate's agenda of 27 October carried a calling attention notice on slab-based electricity billing, and the Power Minister's reply is in the 250 unit protected consumer plan. The bills of the 26 October sitting are in the Senate bills of 26 October.
You can raise a complaint with the National Assembly too
The Assembly site has a Public Complaints Resolution page under About NA, and a separate page for the Right of Access to Information Act 2017. Use the complaints route for a grievance about the Assembly's own work. For a problem with a federal department, the Wafaqi Mohtasib is usually the right body, not Parliament.
Common questions
Is the National Assembly in session today?
Yes, on 28 October 2026 it met at 11:00 am. Check the Orders of the Day on na.gov.pk for any later date.
Where can I watch the National Assembly live?
Look on the YouTube channel @NaofPakistan, the channel linked from the Assembly's official site.
When does the Senate meet next?
Thursday 29 October 2026 at 3:00 pm, according to senate.gov.pk.
How do I know if a bill has passed?
Check Bills Passed by NA on na.gov.pk, then the Senate's lists. A bill on the agenda has not passed until it appears there.
What is a calling attention notice?
A way for members to raise an urgent public matter and get a minister's reply in the House. It does not change any law by itself.
Where are old National Assembly debates?
Under Debates on na.gov.pk. Recent sittings can take a few weeks to appear there.
How we verified this
What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.
We read the National Assembly site on 28 October 2026: its navigation, its notice that the sitting was adjourned to 28 October at 11:00 am, its footer links including the YouTube channel, and the Orders of the Day for 28 October as a PDF. We read the Senate site the same day, including its notice of the 29 October sitting and the Orders of the Day and question list for 27 October. We did not test the live stream during a sitting, and we could not confirm how quickly each list is updated. Nothing here describes the outcome of the 28 October sitting, which was still under way when we wrote.
