Use Your OPF Membership Card for Discounts in Pakistan: Labs, Hotels, Dental and Tuition
OPF members get 20 to 40 per cent off at partner labs, hotels, dental clinics and two universities in Pakistan. See each rate and how to claim it at the counter
Short answer: A valid OPF Membership Card or OPF Family Membership Card gets you set discounts at partner labs, hotels, dental clinics and two universities in Pakistan. The Overseas Pakistanis Foundation lists 40 per cent off pathology at one lab and 40 per cent off rooms at one Islamabad hotel. Show the card and your CNIC at the counter.
A family of an overseas worker pays for lab tests in Islamabad. The card in the wallet could cut the bill by a quarter or more, but only if the cashier is shown it before the bill is closed.
We read the OPF Discount Program page and the OPF Health Services page on 12 October 2026. Every percentage below is as OPF prints it. We did not visit the partners, so we cannot confirm that each one honours the card today.
Only OPF card holders and their families qualify
OPF says the programme is for holders of the OPF Voluntary Membership Card and the OPF Family Membership Card. The family card lets registered family members use the same discounts. You must show the valid card together with your CNIC for counter verification.
If you do not have a card yet, getting an OPF membership card comes first. OPF also says discounts depend on the service being available at the branch, and on terms set by each partner. The same card also opens other OPF services, such as OPF financial aid after a death or disability.
Labs and clinics give 20 to 40 per cent off
Three diagnostic labs are listed. One gives 40 per cent off pathology, another 30 per cent off laboratory services, and a third 25 per cent off all services. Two dental clinics in Islamabad give 30 and 40 per cent off dental services.

The percentages are the ones OPF prints beside each partner. The page does not say whether a discount can be combined with another offer from the same partner.
Hotels give 10 to 40 per cent, depending on the service
Four hotels are listed. The room discount runs from 15 per cent at one Islamabad hotel to 40 per cent at another. Food, laundry and banquet discounts are separate lines, and each hotel sets its own.

OPF does not give a booking route on its page. Contact the hotel directly, say you hold an OPF card at booking, and ask for the written rate.
Two universities offer 20 per cent off tuition
Midwest Institute of Sciences and Ibadat International University, both in Islamabad, are listed with a 20 per cent tuition fee concession. OPF does not say which programmes are included, or whether the concession applies to every semester.
Ask the admissions office to confirm in writing before you pay a challan. Tuition for children is also covered by separate OPF education schemes, such as the KMU seats reserved for overseas Pakistanis' children.
The OPF eye hospital charges members 25 per cent less
OPF's own eye hospital at D.G. Khan lists rates for overseas Pakistanis that are 25 per cent below the general public rate. An outpatient visit costs Rs 150 instead of Rs 200. A major operation costs Rs 3,750 instead of Rs 5,000.

The hospital's page gives one phone number, 0300-6787640, for working hours from 8am to 4pm, Monday to Friday. It says weekend and emergency cover is not specified, so call first.
How to claim a discount at the counter
Show the card and CNIC before the bill is settled, and ask for the discount to appear on the bill itself. OPF says the discount is applied immediately, as agreed with each provider. Keep the receipt in case you need to raise a complaint.
- Check the partner and the percentage on the OPF discount directory.
- Call the branch and ask if the service is available there.
- Take your valid OPF card, or family card, and your CNIC.
- Show both at booking or billing, before you pay.
- Check the discount on the printed bill and keep the receipt.
OPF says it is not responsible for the quality of the partner's service. Raise complaints about care or service with the provider directly. For problems with the card itself, contact OPF through its head office or the PakTok app.
