The passport office in Quetta is on Arbab Barkat Ali Road near the Railway Football Ground (081-9201762) and runs morning and evening shifts; an executive office is at Plot 30, Jinnah Town, and Balochistan has 32 passport offices in all on the official list. The table below gives every Balochistan address from Gwadar to Zhob, and notes the two offices with a phone number.

Balochistan is large and roads are long, so the nearest district office often matters more than any other choice. We read the passport office list of the Directorate General of Immigration and Passports (DGI&P) and its ordinary passport page on 28 October 2026. The list was last modified on 20 July 2026.

Quetta has two passport offices, and the main one has an evening shift

DGI&P lists the Quetta Regional Passport Office on Arbab Barkat Ali Road and an Executive Passport Office in Jinnah Town. The regional office runs a morning shift and an evening shift until midnight. The executive office keeps normal hours of 8 am to 4 pm.

The shifts are 8:00 to 16:00 and 16:00 to 24:00 hours, according to DGI&P's shift table. Quetta has no NADRA passport counter on the list, unlike Punjab and Sindh, so these two offices are the city's only options.

Every other Balochistan district office, with its address

DGI&P lists 30 more offices across Balochistan. Only Zhob carries a phone number among them, 0822-412696. Kohlu and Sherani are listed by name only. For the rest, the address below is all the official list gives.

Balochistan passport offices with and without a listed phone number

Quetta, Pishin and Mastung are on the fast track list

DGI&P's list of 47 fast track cities includes three in Balochistan: Quetta, Pishin and Mastung. Gwadar, Turbat and Khuzdar are not on it. Since the e-Passport replaced the ordinary passport, confirm at the counter whether fast track is still offered.

The full list is in fast track passport cities. District offices work 8 am to 4 pm, Monday to Friday, with a break from 1:00 pm to 1:30 pm, and close on public holidays. National hours are compared in passport office timings.

Passport Rule 6 of 2021 lets you apply at any office, whatever address your CNIC shows. A family from Kech living in Karachi can apply in Karachi instead, as explained in applying at any passport office. The list of every passport office in Karachi helps people from Lasbela and Hub too.

Bring your CNIC and allow extra time for courier

An adult needs the original CNIC with a photocopy, any old passport, and a department NOC for government staff. The e-Passport costs Rs 9,000 normal or Rs 15,000 urgent for 36 pages and five years. DGI&P says courier time to remote areas is extra.

  1. Pick your district office, or Quetta for an evening visit.
  2. Carry your original CNIC, a photocopy and your old passport.
  3. For a child, bring Form B or the Family Registration Certificate and both parents' CNICs.
  4. Get a token, then give your photo and fingerprints.
  5. Keep the slip and watch for SMS updates from 9988.

Ten year books cost Rs 13,500 normal for 36 pages and Rs 24,750 for 72 pages; see the full official passport fees. DGI&P's page gives normal processing as 21 working days in one table and 10 in its guidelines. In Panjgur, Awaran or Washuk, plan with the longer time plus courier days.

Steps to apply at a passport office in Balochistan

Because only two Balochistan offices list a phone, the DGI&P helpline on 051-111-344-777 is often the only number to call. It is staffed 8:30 am to 4:30 pm on working days. You can also file a passport complaint on the Pakistan Citizen Portal.

How we verified this

What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.

Last checked on 28 October 2026. Addresses and phone numbers come from DGI&P's passport office list (last modified 20 July 2026), which shows 32 Balochistan offices and no NADRA counters there. Shift times, normal hours, Rule 6 and e-Passport fees come from DGI&P's ordinary passport page (last modified 23 October 2026), and fast track cities from its fast track page. We did not visit or call any office. We could not find street addresses for Kohlu and Sherani, phone numbers for 30 offices, or confirm whether fast track still runs for the e-Passport.
