Poco F9 Pro and F9 Ultra Price in Pakistan: Not Sold Officially Yet

The Poco F9 Pro and F9 Ultra are not sold officially in Pakistan yet. Xiaomi's Pakistan website lists no F9 model. Global launch prices were reported at $699 for the F9 Pro and $799 for the F9 Ultra. On our estimate, PTA tax starts at about Rs 60,000 and Rs 66,900, before customs duties.

Poco launched both phones worldwide on 1 September 2026, and Xiaomi's global website now carries full specifications for each. We read those pages, Xiaomi's Pakistan website and FBR's tax law on 28 September 2026. Here is what is confirmed, what is only reported, and what an imported set is likely to cost you in tax.

Poco F9 series is not officially sold in Pakistan yet

Xiaomi's Pakistan website, mi.com/pk, lists Poco phones up to the F6 Pro and X6 Pro. It has no Poco F9 Pro or F9 Ultra page. So there is no official Pakistani price, warranty or local stock as of 28 September 2026.

We also tried the product addresses directly. The F9 Pro and F9 Ultra pages on Xiaomi's Pakistan site both return the site's "not found" page, while the same pages on the global site load in full. That is a fairly clear sign the phones have not been launched here.

Any F9 set you see in a Pakistani shop or on a marketplace today is an import. That means two things. You pay PTA tax to use a local SIM in it, and warranty support in Pakistan is not promised. Ask the seller in writing what warranty they give, and who honours it.

Global prices: $699 for the F9 Pro, $799 for the F9 Ultra

Launch prices were reported at $699 for the F9 Pro with 12GB and 256GB, and $799 for the F9 Ultra with 12GB and 256GB. Xiaomi's global product pages we read list specs but not prices, so treat these as reported launch figures.

The memory options themselves are confirmed. Xiaomi's spec pages list 12GB with 256GB or 512GB for the F9 Pro, and 12GB with 256GB, 16GB with 512GB, and 16GB with 1TB for the F9 Ultra. Early-bird prices were for a limited launch window, and prices differ by country.

Our PTA tax estimate starts near Rs 60,000

Every F9 model costs more than $500, so each pays the top sales tax rate of 25% plus a fixed income tax of Rs 11,500. On that basis, known tax runs from about Rs 59,961 on the F9 Pro to Rs 94,625 on the top F9 Ultra.

How we worked it out. We took the reported launch price and converted it at Rs 277.3149 to the dollar, the State Bank of Pakistan's weighted average rate for 24 September 2026. We added 25% sales tax from the Ninth Schedule of the Sales Tax Act. Then we added Rs 11,500 income tax, or Rs 23,000 if you are not on the Active Taxpayers List (ATL).

Treat every figure as a floor, not a quote. Customs uses its own assessed value, not your receipt. Sales tax is charged after customs duty is added. And the fixed duty and levy that DIRBS charges are not in our figure. The real payment slip will be higher, and it is the only number that counts. Your exact figure is free. Apply with the phone's IMEI on PTA's DIRBS portal or dial *8484#, and read the slip. The full method for any handset is in calculating PTA tax on your phone, and FBR now also allows PTA tax in instalments, though DIRBS could not take them when we last checked.

Poco F9 Pro and F9 Ultra specifications

Both phones use a 185Hz AMOLED screen, a 200MP main camera, 100W wired and 50W wireless charging, IP68 and Xiaomi HyperOS 3. The F9 Ultra adds the full Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, a bigger 8,050mAh battery and a 120mm periscope camera.

Both have a separate VisionBoost D8 graphics chip for games, stereo speakers tuned with Bose, and an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor under the screen. The Ultra adds a separate subwoofer and 8K video. Peak brightness is listed at 4,500 nits over a quarter of the screen on both.

Both phones list the common 4G bands 1, 3, 5, 8, 40 and 41, and 5G bands including n41 and n78, per Xiaomi's spec pages. Our honest view: the Ultra is the one to import if you can, because the battery and zoom gap is large, and the tax gap between the two base models is only about Rs 7,000.

What to check before buying an imported F9

Check the IMEI, the tax, the warranty and the charger before you pay. An unregistered set is blocked from mobile networks once its temporary period ends, and a grey import has no Xiaomi Pakistan warranty. Five checks take about ten minutes.

1. Dial *#06# on the phone and note both IMEI numbers.
2. Send the IMEI to 8484 by SMS to see its PTA status. The steps to check an IMEI number show what each reply means.
3. Ask whether the seller has paid PTA tax. If not, get the DIRBS payment slip before you agree a price.
4. Confirm in writing who gives the warranty and for how long.
5. Check the box. Xiaomi says the adapter in the box can differ by region.

If you are bringing one home from abroad, you register the phone with PTA on your CNIC or passport within the allowed window. If the budget is tighter, the Poco X8 Pro sits one step down the range.
