The Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) cleared 30 candidates for interview in three results posted between 5 and 12 October 2026: 20 for 4 Child Psychologist posts, 5 for one special-persons Child Psychologist post, and 5 for one Junior Scale Stenographer post. No interview dates for these three cases appeared on the PPSC pages we read. Call-up letters will be uploaded on the PPSC website and sent by SMS and email.

The newest is the stenographer result, announced on 12 October 2026 for Case No 64G2025. We opened all three notices on the PPSC site on 14 October 2026. Here is who was cleared, what the notices say to do next, and which deadline has already passed.

Five candidates are cleared for one stenographer post

PPSC's notice of 12 October says five candidates are provisionally cleared for interview for one open-merit post of Junior Scale Stenographer (BS-15) on a regular basis, in the Board of Revenue, Punjab (Disaster Management Department). The five passed skill tests in English shorthand, English typing and MS Office.

The notice splits them in two groups. Category I has one candidate who also passed Urdu shorthand and Urdu typing. Category II has four who passed only the English shorthand, English typing and MS Office tests. The notice does not explain why the groups are shown separately.

"Provisionally" matters. A candidate is interviewed only if found eligible at the time of interview under the advertisement and service rules. The notice also says an entry in the result does not itself give any right to final selection.

Twenty candidates are cleared for four Child Psychologist posts

PPSC's notice of 5 October clears 20 candidates for four Child Psychologist (BS-17) posts, two for men and two for women. The posts are on contract for three years in the Child Protection and Welfare Bureau of the Home Department. The written test was held on 30 August 2026.

A separate notice of 5 October covers one female special-persons post of the same job. Five candidates are cleared for it, after the same 30 August test. That is why the totals are 20 plus 5 plus 5.

In all three cases PPSC cleared five candidates for each post. Interview marks will decide who is recommended.

PPSC results of 5 and 12 October 2026 for Punjab Child Psychologist and Stenographer posts

The rechecking deadline for the psychologist results has passed

The 5 October notices allowed a recheck of papers on an original online deposit receipt of Rs 200 within 7 days of the result. Counting from 5 October, that window ended on 12 October. The 12 October stenographer notice that we read carries no such clause.

If you did not qualify, the notices say you can download your provisional result intimation card from the PPSC site three days after the result, using the Single Paper DMC button. The card stays online for 30 days. The steps for getting your PPSC marks certificate online show how.

A recheck is a recount of marks, not a new paper. PPSC's notices add that the roll number list is in ascending order, so your place in the list says nothing about your merit.

What cleared candidates should do next

Watch the PPSC website, your SMS and your email. Prepare your original academic certificates and related documents now, because PPSC says you must bring them to the interview. Each case gets its own call-up letter and date.

  1. Open the PPSC site, ppsc.gop.pk, and read your result notice.
  2. Check that your roll number and name are right, and tell PPSC about any error.
  3. Gather your original certificates, CNIC, domicile and experience papers.
  4. Wait for the call-up letter on the website, by SMS and by email.
  5. Download the letter and confirm the venue and time before travel.

Our checklist for PPSC interview documents explains why a marks certificate matters more than a CGPA. Other cases already have dates, and the PPSC interview schedule for 13 to 23 October lists them.

Five steps for candidates cleared by PPSC in October 2026 to prepare for the interview

Check you are on the real PPSC site

PPSC warns on its home page about fraudulent websites and social media pages. Only ppsc.gop.pk is the official source for results and letters. Anyone who asks for money to "confirm" an interview call is not PPSC.

If a letter or a page looks odd, compare it with the official site. Our note on how to check you are on the real PPSC website shows what to look for. PPSC's results that were declared in the past year stay on its Written Results page. Older ones move to an archive.

Common questions about these PPSC results

How many candidates did PPSC clear in these results?

It cleared 30 in three notices: 20 for four Child Psychologist posts, 5 for a special-persons Child Psychologist post, and 5 for one Stenographer post.

When are the interviews?

The notices give no date. PPSC says call-up letters will be uploaded as per its approved schedule and sent by SMS and email.

Does clearing the test mean I am selected?

No. You are only provisionally cleared for interview, and PPSC says the result gives no right to final selection. Eligibility is checked again at the interview.

Can I ask for a recheck?

For the 5 October psychologist results, the window of 7 days with a Rs 200 receipt has ended. The 12 October stenographer notice that we read did not state a recheck fee or window.

Where do I find my result card if I failed?

Use the Single Paper DMC button on ppsc.gop.pk after three days. PPSC says the card stays online for 30 days.

How we verified this

What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.

Last checked 14 October 2026. The counts, case numbers, dates, fee and instructions come from PPSC's notices for cases 64G2025, 8B2026 and 4B2026, listed on its Written Results page. We found no interview dates for these cases. PPSC's page showed other results of 30 September and earlier, which this article does not cover.
