Qatar Visa Check by Passport Number From Pakistan: MOI Inquiry, Printing and the Application Number Route

To check a Qatar visa from Pakistan, open the Ministry of Interior's visa inquiry at fees2.moi.gov.qa, choose to search by passport number, visa number or application number, select Pakistan as nationality and pass the picture check. Unlike the UAE and Oman trackers, Qatar's visa check accepts a passport number with no second number, which makes it the quickest test of a visa an agent has shown you.
The same page prints an issued visa and takes payment for a visa extension. Qatar's visa check accepts a passport number
The MOI inquiry form offers three ways to search: application number, visa number or passport number. Each search also asks for nationality from a list, where Pakistan appears. For a worker or visitor in Pakistan, the passport number search is the simplest, because the passport is already in your hand.

MOI describes the service in two lines: follow up approval of a work or visit visa application by application number, and inquire about a work or visit visa by visa number. Both let you print or reprint the details of an issued visa.
How to check a Qatar visa by passport number
The form opens in Arabic, with an English link at the top. Switch it first so the labels match the steps below. The whole check takes about a minute, and nothing is paid unless you choose to extend a visa.
- Open the MOI Qatar website, go to Inquiries, then Visa Services, then Visa Inquiry and Printing.
- Switch the page to English.
- Under Inquire By, choose Passport Number.
- Type your passport number exactly as printed.
- Select Pakistan as nationality.
- Type the picture code and press Inquire.
If the visa is issued, the result lets you print it. Compare the name, passport number and visa type with your own passport before you keep the printout.
The application number search needs a Qatari ID or the filing date
Searching by application number adds one more choice. You enter either the personal number of the person who applied, meaning the recruiter, the company representative or the authorised person, or the date the application was submitted. A worker in Pakistan rarely has the recruiter's Qatari ID, so the date is the easier path.
Ask the employer or the licensed agent for the application number and the submission date together. If they can give neither, that is useful information about the offer. A real Qatari employer's PRO can read both from their records in a minute.
Work visas also pass through the Qatar Visa Center
MOI's visa services page lists a fourth item, Track Application Status, which points to the Qatar Visa Center site. For a Pakistani worker, the visa centre is where the medical, fingerprints and contract signing happen before the visa is finished.
So a work visa can show on the MOI inquiry as approved while the visa centre steps are still open. When the Qatar visa check shows nothing
A blank result usually means a mismatch. Check the nationality first, then the passport number. If the visa was applied for on an old passport, search with the old number. If the search still fails, ask the sponsor to check from their side or contact MOI.
- Nationality: choose Pakistan even if you live in Saudi Arabia or the UAE.
- Old passport: a visa follows the passport number it was issued on.
- Not issued yet: an application still under approval may not show under the passport search. Try the application number search.
- Typing slips: zero and O, one and I, are the usual errors.
MOI lists info@moi.gov.qa for email. Its pages show two phone numbers, 2342000 on the inquiry page and 2367111 on the main portal, both with the Qatar code +974. We could not confirm which line handles visa questions.
After you land, the visa becomes a Qatar ID
A work visa is only the entry stage. After arrival, the employer turns it into a residence permit, and the Qatar ID (QID) follows. That stage has its own trackers by visa number and QID number, set out in the Qatar ID and residence permit status check.

Can I check my Qatar visa with only my passport number?
Yes. The MOI inquiry lets you search by passport number, with nationality selected and the picture code typed.
Which website is the official Qatar visa check?
The Ministry of Interior's visa inquiry, reached from portal.moi.gov.qa under Inquiries and Visa Services. Paid "checking" sites are not the government's.
Can I print my Qatar visa from the inquiry?

Last checked 31 October 2026. We read MOI Qatar's visa services page and the visa inquiry form on that date. The search options, the extra fields for the application number search and the service list come from those pages. The form's labels loaded in Arabic for us. We did not run a search with a real passport, so we have not seen the result screen. The Qatar Visa Center site refused our connection, so we could not read its tracking page.
