To book an appointment at Quaid-e-Azam International Hospital (QIH) in Islamabad, call 051-8449100 or fill in the online appointment form at appointments.qih.com.pk. Lab reports open on the QIH patient portal with your MR number and security key, and teleconsultations are booked on the same 051-8449100 line, 8am to 10pm daily.
QIH is a 400-bed private hospital near Golra Morr on Peshawar Road, Islamabad, known for liver and bone marrow transplants. Its online form asks you to pay before the visit, which surprises many first-time patients. Below are every booking route, the form step by step, the payment options, the lab report login, the teleconsultation process and the other phone lines. We read QIH's own website on 28 October 2026.
QIH appointments are booked by phone or the online form
QIH's main line is 051-8449100. Its contact page also lists 051-2315249, 051-2315184 and 051-2315262. The online appointment form at appointments.qih.com.pk lets you choose the department and doctor and pay ahead.
| Route | Contact | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Main line | 051-8449100 | Appointments, teleconsultation and information |
| Other landlines | 051-2315249, 2315184, 2315262 | Backup when the main line is busy |
| Online form | appointments.qih.com.pk | A chosen doctor, with payment made in advance |
| Teleconsultation | 051-8449100, 8am to 10pm daily | A video consultation from home |
| Feedback and complaints | Feedback form on the appointments site | A written complaint with a record |
QIH's website does not publish OPD hours. Ask for the doctor's clinic day and time when you book. Its salient features page also mentions off-site outpatient clinics in F-11, F-8 and Rawalpindi, but it gives no addresses, so confirm by phone before going to one.

How to fill in the QIH online appointment form
The QIH form asks for the patient's full name and mobile number, plus the MR number if you have one, an email, the department, the doctor and a message. It then asks you to choose a payment mode before you submit.
- Open the QIH online appointment request form.
- Enter the MR number (medical record number) if you have visited QIH before. New patients can leave it blank.
- Type the patient's full name and a mobile number. Both are required.
- Choose the department from the list of more than 35, then the doctor.
- Pick a payment mode: online bank transfer or Telenor Easypay online. Then send your payment receipt, or your panel card or letter, to the email address on the form.
Panel patients, whose employer or insurer pays, send the panel card or letter instead of a receipt. Keep a screenshot of your payment and of the form before you close it. If nobody calls within a working day, ring 051-8449100 with the screenshot ready.

QIH lab reports open with your MR number and security key
QIH's "Lab Reports" link opens its patient portal at portal.qih.com.pk. The patient login asks for your MR number and a security key, so keep the paper the lab gives you when the sample is taken.
The portal's boxes read "Your MR-No" and "Your Security Key". The pages we read do not say where the security key is printed. Ask at the lab counter when you give the sample, and keep the slip safe until the report is saved.
If the login fails, call 051-8449100 with the MR number and the test date. A report is information for your doctor, not a diagnosis. Islamabad residents can also check a clinic or lab with IHRA before using any lab.
QIH teleconsultation runs 8am to 10pm, every day
QIH books video consultations on 051-8449100, Monday to Sunday, 8am to 10pm. You can choose a consultant or a general physician. The call centre fixes the time, takes payment, then sends the video link by SMS, email or WhatsApp.
- Call 051-8449100 and ask for a teleconsultation with a consultant or a general physician.
- The call centre books a slot when the doctor is free.
- Pay the fee by the method the call centre gives you. QIH's page lists an online transfer to its Bank Al-Habib account in the name of Global Health Services Limited.
- Email the transfer screenshot with the patient's name and MR number. The appointment is confirmed once payment is verified.
- Join through the link sent by SMS, email or WhatsApp. The prescription comes back the same way.
Confirm the account details with the call centre on 051-8449100 before you send money. Never pay into an account given by an unknown caller or message, even if it uses QIH's name.

QIH departments, transplants and other Islamabad options
QIH lists more than 35 departments, from cardiology and neurology to hepatology and liver transplantation, clinical haematology and bone marrow transplant, and speech therapy. It describes itself as a 400-bed hospital with ICUs close to the emergency.
QIH is a private hospital, so consultation and test fees are paid by the patient or a panel. Families looking for free or lower-cost care in Islamabad often start at PIMS or the Polyclinic hospital. Among private hospitals, Shifa International also takes online bookings.
If care goes wrong at an Islamabad hospital, you can use QIH's feedback form first and then complain about a hospital or doctor in Islamabad to the regulator.

How we verified this
What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.
We read QIH's home page, contact page, consultant list, hospital facilities page, salient features page, teleconsultation page, the online appointment form and the patient portal login on 28 October 2026. QIH does not publish OPD hours or consultation fees, the email address on the form was hidden from our reader, and we could not confirm the addresses of the off-site clinics, so we left those out.
