How to Report Corruption in Sindh: E&ACE Online Complaint and Phone Number
Report a bribe or corruption by a Sindh government official: the E&ACE online portal, its Karachi landline, what to prepare and what to do if it does not act.

To report corruption by a government official in Sindh, go to acesindh.gos.pk and press Lodge Complaint, which opens the Enquiries and Anti-Corruption Establishment (E&ACE) complaint system. You can also call its Karachi landline, 021-99211251, or visit its office in the Old KDA Building, 2nd Floor, Sindh Secretariat No. 3. The portal says it works 24 hours a day.
Anyone who has been asked for a "tea money" payment to move a file knows the feeling. You can pay and hope, or you can report it. E&ACE Sindh is the provincial office whose job is to receive such reports.
We read the E&ACE Sindh home page, its contact page and the first page of its complaint system on 14 October 2026. We did not file a complaint, because each report goes to a live office. The form itself sits behind a login that we did not open.
E&ACE Sindh handles corruption in government offices across the province
E&ACE stands for Enquiries and Anti-Corruption Establishment. Its page says it works to end corruption and improve transparency in government operations across Sindh. So it is the place for a bribe demanded by a clerk, an inspector or an officer of a Sindh department.
It is not a police station and it is not a court. A complaint starts an enquiry. Any criminal case or punishment follows a separate legal process.
The home page lists what it calls its services. These include a Complaint Management System that it says is available 24/7, case tracking with updates on your complaint, and whistleblower protection. We did not test any of them.

File the complaint online in six steps
The online route is the easiest to keep a record of. The home page links Lodge Complaint to its complaint management system. That page opens a login screen, and the form is behind it.
- Open acesindh.gos.pk in your browser.
- Press Lodge Complaint to open the complaint system.
- Register or log in, as the page asks.
- Describe who asked for the bribe, which office, the date and the amount.
- Attach any proof you have, such as a photo of a demand letter or a payment slip.
- Submit and save the complaint number so that you can ask about it later.

Steps 3 to 6 are our plain reading of how a complaint system works, since we did not open the form. Follow the screens it shows you. The official page says the system has case tracking, so look for a complaint number.
Prepare the facts before you write the complaint
An enquiry officer needs something concrete. "The patwari is corrupt" gives no lead. "On 9 October, a clerk at the sub-registrar's office in Malir asked me for Rs 5,000 to stamp a deed" does, as an example of the detail we mean. The E&ACE page lists a Frequently Asked Questions section on what evidence to provide, but it did not display the answers for us. So this list is our own practical advice.
- The name and post of the person, or a description if you do not know the name.
- The office, its city and the date and time.
- The service you needed and the amount they asked for.
- Any paper that shows the request or the payment.
- Your CNIC and phone number, even if you want to stay private.
Do not pay a bribe in order to collect proof. That can put you in trouble too. If you already paid, say so honestly in the complaint.
Ask about protection before you give your name
The E&ACE page says it gives whistleblower protection and mentions the Sindh Whistleblower Act. We did not read that law, so we cannot say what it covers. Before you file, ask the office by phone what protection applies to you. A complaint about your own landlord, employer or neighbour is a different matter, and not for this office.
Read the office's own numbers with care
The E&ACE home page shows a section called Our Impact 2025. It lists 18,257 total complaints and 4,654 disposed, and a disposal rate of 37.43 per cent. Those figures do not agree. By our arithmetic 4,654 of 18,257 is about 25.5 per cent.
We do not know which number is wrong, or what "disposed" means on the page. What the figures do show is volume. A large number of complaints is in the system, so do not expect a reply in a day. Keep your complaint number and follow up by phone.

If E&ACE does not act, use another route
If a department delays your service rather than demanding a bribe, the better route may be the Provincial Ombudsman. Our steps for how to complain to the Sindh Ombudsman cover that. If you need an official record to prove a delay, a request under the law can help: see how to file a Right to Information request in Sindh.
If the case involves a crime, such as extortion or fraud, the police are involved too. The page on how to get an FIR registered in Sindh explains what to do when a station refuses.
Common questions about reporting corruption in Sindh
Is there a free way to report corruption in Sindh?
The E&ACE portal and landline were the routes we found. We did not see a fee for the online system. Ask the office if you have any doubt.
Can I report on behalf of someone else?
The page does not say. Complaints are usually stronger from a person who dealt with the office. If you help a relative, ask them to give you the facts and papers.
What is the E&ACE phone number in Karachi?
The contact page lists a landline, +92-021-99211251. It also lists direct landlines for officers by post, for example a Section Officer (Anti-Corruption) at 99211391. Call the general landline first.
Does E&ACE cover the whole of Sindh?
Its page says it works across Sindh. Its headquarters is in Karachi. We did not find a list of district offices on the pages we read.
Is E&ACE the same as NAB?
No. E&ACE Sindh is a Sindh government body. NAB is a federal body with its own online complaint route. The page on how to file a NAB complaint online explains that route.
How we verified this
What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.
Last checked 14 October 2026. We read acesindh.gos.pk, including its home page and its contact page, and the sign-in page of cms.acesindh.gos.pk. We did not file a complaint, open the form, or call the office. The statistics we mention come from the home page's Our Impact 2025 section and do not agree with each other. The advice on what to prepare is ours, not the office's.
