The Rs 25,000 Premium Prize Bond draw is on Thursday 10 December 2026 at Karachi. If the prizes match September, it pays two first prizes of Rs 30,000,000 each, five second prizes of Rs 10,000,000 and 700 third prizes of Rs 300,000. Only bonds issued by 11 October 2026 take part. Below are the prizes after tax, every 2026 winning number so far, and how the money reaches you.
We read the National Savings 2026 draw schedule letter, all four recent Rs 25,000 result files and the National Savings FAQ on savings.gov.pk on 26 October 2026. The schedule lists 10-12-2026 (Thursday) at Karachi for the Rs 25,000 bond.
Rs 25,000 premium bond draw date: 10 December 2026 at Karachi
The fourth and last Rs 25,000 Premium Prize Bond draw of 2026 is on Thursday 10 December at Karachi. The result files number it the 24th, after the 23rd at Quetta. A public holiday would push it to the next working day.
| Rs 25,000 draw in 2026 | City | Draw number |
|---|---|---|
| Tuesday 10 March | Multan | 21st |
| Wednesday 10 June | Peshawar | 22nd |
| Thursday 10 September | Quetta | 23rd |
| Thursday 10 December | Karachi | 24th |
The Rs 40,000 premium bond is drawn the same day at Lahore. The Rs 40,000 premium bond draw has its own prizes and numbers. Ordinary bonds follow on 15 December, with the Rs 200 prize bond draw at Peshawar.

A Rs 25,000 bond bought after 11 October waits for March 2027
The National Savings FAQ says only bonds issued at least 60 days before the draw can win. For 10 December 2026, the 60th day back is Sunday 11 October. A Rs 25,000 bond issued after that misses December but earns profit from purchase.
Ordinary bearer bonds have the same 60-day rule, called the shut period. The difference with a premium bond is that it is registered in your name and pays profit every six months, so a late purchase still earns something while it waits for the next draw.
The Rs 25,000 bond pays two first prizes of Rs 30 million
The September 2026 file lists two first prizes of Rs 30,000,000, five second prizes of Rs 10,000,000 and 700 third prizes of Rs 300,000. That is 707 prizes worth Rs 320 million a draw. The March and June files show the same amounts.
| Prize | How many | Amount | After 15% tax (filer) | After 30% tax (non-filer) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| First | 2 | Rs 30,000,000 | Rs 25,500,000 | Rs 21,000,000 |
| Second | 5 | Rs 10,000,000 | Rs 8,500,000 | Rs 7,000,000 |
| Third | 700 | Rs 300,000 | Rs 255,000 | Rs 210,000 |
Withholding tax is 15% if you are on the FBR's Active Taxpayer List on the day and 30% if you are not, the National Savings FAQ says. On a first prize that gap is Rs 4.5 million. The same rule applies to the tax on prize bond winnings from ordinary bonds.

The FAQ gives a profit rate of 2.92% every six months. On one Rs 25,000 bond that is Rs 730 a half year before tax. The FAQ page may not be up to date, so confirm the rate when you buy.
Every Rs 25,000 first and second prize number since December 2025
We copied the first and second prize numbers from the last four official result files. The draw is random, so these numbers say nothing about December. They help anyone who held a Rs 25,000 bond and never checked an earlier list.

Prize money reaches your bank account without a claim
Because a Premium Prize Bond is registered, National Savings pays the prize and the profit into the bank account you gave when you bought it. No application form is needed. Your part is to keep that account open and check the list.
- After 10 December, open the Premium Prize Bond Rs 25,000 page on savings.gov.pk.
- Download the result file dated 10 December 2026.
- Use the find option to search for your six-digit bond number.
- If it is there, check that the bank account linked to the bond is active and the IBAN unchanged.
- If the money does not arrive, go to the SBP Banking Services Corporation office that issued the bond with your CNIC and bond details.

The list does not always appear on the day. In December 2025 and June 2026 the Rs 25,000 file went up the same evening. In September 2026 it appeared on 14 September, four days after the draw.
To buy one for March 2027 you need your CNIC copy, an account maintenance certificate with IBAN, a tax certificate if you are a filer, and your nominee's CNIC details. The premium prize bond buying steps cover each of these.
