How to Sign Up as a Daraz Seller in Pakistan: ID, Bank Document and 10 Products
Sign up at sellercenter.daraz.pk with your phone number, CNIC and a bank document, then list 10 products. Shop opening is free and payouts run weekly.

Short answer: To sell on Daraz, sign up at sellercenter.daraz.pk with your phone number, add your email and pickup address, upload your ID card and a bank document, then list at least 10 products. Opening a shop is free. Daraz pays weekly on orders marked delivered.
Most new sellers lose their first week to one confusing question: do I need a company first? For an individual seller, Daraz's sign-up page says the identity card and a bank document are enough for account verification. The company papers are for corporate sellers.
We read the Daraz Seller Center sign-up page and its FAQ on 12 October 2026. We did not open a seller account for this guide, so the steps below are what Daraz publishes, not a test of our own. The pricing side is in our note on what you actually keep selling on Daraz.
Four steps and about 18 minutes of work
Daraz lists four steps on its sign-up page, each with a time estimate: sign up with a phone number in 2 minutes, add contact email and address in 1 minute, submit ID and bank details in 5 minutes, and upload products in 10 minutes.
| Step | What you do | Daraz's time estimate |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Sign up | Enter your phone number and verify by SMS | 2 minutes |
| 2. Contact details | Add email, pickup and return warehouse addresses | 1 minute |
| 3. Verification | Submit ID and bank account details | 5 minutes |
| 4. Products | Upload products, at least 10 recommended | 10 minutes |

Those minutes are Daraz's estimates for the form itself. Getting your documents ready and waiting for approval will take longer.
Individual and corporate sellers need different documents
Daraz's page says an individual seller needs an identity card and a bank document. A corporate seller needs a business registration document and a bank document. A bank document usually means a cheque book image or an account statement that shows your name and account number.
Keep the names consistent. The name on your ID, your bank document and your shop should match. A mismatch is a common reason verification stalls on any marketplace. This is our general advice, not a rule we read on Daraz's page.
- Scan or photograph your CNIC, front and back, in good light.
- Get a bank document that shows the account title and number.
- Prepare the pickup address where couriers will collect orders.
- Prepare a return address, which can be the same place.
- Photograph 10 products with a plain background and write clear titles.

Opening a shop is free and the first 30 days carry no commission
The sign-up page says opening a shop on Daraz is free. It advertises 0 per cent platform commission for 30 days for new sellers. After that, the FAQ says a small commission is deducted from each order's payment, and the rate depends on the product category.
The page links to a category commission list on Daraz University, which is Daraz's free training site. We did not open it, so we cannot quote a category rate. Check your category before you buy stock. A rate that looks small on a Rs 1,000 item still decides your margin.

Plan your pricing for the rate after the 30 days
, not during them. If your numbers only work at zero commission, they do not work.Daraz pays weekly on delivered orders
The FAQ says seller payments are based on orders marked "Delivered" in Seller Center, and settled weekly. If a public holiday or weekend falls on the payment date, Daraz releases it on the first business day after.
That means cash on delivery orders only turn into your money after the parcel is delivered and recorded. Returned and refused parcels do not pay. Keep a cash cushion to buy stock before the weekly payment arrives.
Daraz also offers an incubation specialist for 90 days, a free onboarding video course, product ads and free shipping programmes. These are listed as benefits on the page. Whether you qualify for a given programme depends on Daraz's terms at the time.
Sort out tax before the orders grow
Daraz's sign-up page does not discuss tax. Online sellers in Pakistan have their own tax steps. Our guide on how to register for e-commerce tax as an online seller explains the FBR side. If you are a sole trader and have no NTN, read how to register as a sole proprietor with FBR.
Do this early. It is easier to register at the start than to fix it after a year of sales.

How we verified this
What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.
We read the Daraz Seller Center sign-up page and its FAQ on 12 October 2026. Offers, such as the 30 day commission waiver, can change. We did not create a seller account, so approval times and any extra document requests are not verified.
