SSGC New Connection Status Check: Online by Customer Number, SMS or App (Sindh and Balochistan)
Check SSGC new connection status online by customer number, by SMS or on the app. See the Rs 22,725 Sindh charges, the documents and who to email if it stalls.
To check your SSGC new gas connection status, open the New Connection Status page on ssgc.com.pk, enter your customer number and press View Status. SSGC also says it sends status updates by SMS to the mobile number on your application, and on its Customer Connect App. If no SMS arrives within a week, SSGC asks you to email info.sales@ssgc.com.pk.

SSGC gives three official ways to track a new connection
You can track a Sui Southern Gas new connection on the New Connection Status page with your customer number, through SMS updates sent to the mobile number on your form, or on the SSGC Customer Connect App. A fourth route, email, is for when the SMS never comes.

The status page has one field only: Customer Number. It does not accept a CNIC or a mobile number. So the number on your acknowledgement receipt is the thing to keep safe.
Checking the status online takes four steps
Open the SSGC website, go to Customer and then New Connection Status, type the customer number from your receipt and press View Status. The page has no captcha and no login, so it works on a phone browser too.
- Open ssgc.com.pk and choose Customer from the menu.
- Click New Connection Status.
- Type the customer number shown on your acknowledgement or SMS, with no spaces.
- Press View Status and note what it says, with the date.
We opened the page and its form on 27 October 2026. We did not have an SSGC application of our own, so we could not see what a result looks like or which stage names it uses.

Your application should have cost Rs 22,725 in Sindh
SSGC's current RLNG domestic connection charges for a plot up to 300 square yards are Rs 22,725 in Sindh and Rs 21,725 in Balochistan. For a larger plot they are Rs 24,450 and Rs 23,450. Most of it is a Rs 20,000 gas supply deposit.

SSGC marks these charges "subject to change". The cost of the pipes inside your house, fittings and labour is yours to arrange. The full application process is in applying for an SSGC RLNG connection.
Missing documents are the usual reason a status stalls
SSGC's checklist asks for the filled form, a neighbour's gas bill or their customer and meter number, your CNIC copy, ownership papers, and an approved drawing or NOC where one applies. A tenant also needs the tenancy agreement and the landlord's NOC.

- Copy of the nearest neighbour's gas bill, or their customer number and meter number
- Copy of the applicant's CNIC
- Approval letter, drawing and completion plan, and NOC from the relevant authority, where they apply
- Attested ownership documents, or a tenancy agreement with the landlord's NOC
- Original NOC from the society or relevant authority, if applicable
The form also makes you confirm that an SSGC gas pipeline already exists in front of your premises and that there is no dispute or court case over the property. If either is not true, SSGC says it will treat the application as invalid. That is worth checking before you chase the status.
When the status does not move
Email info.sales@ssgc.com.pk if no SMS came within a week, then call 1199 or visit your Customer Facilitation Centre with the receipt. If SSGC still does not act, OGRA, the gas regulator, hears complaints against it.
