Tecno POVA Curve 2 5G Price in Pakistan Is Rs 99,999: 8,000 mAh Battery and a 144 Hz Curved AMOLED

The Tecno POVA Curve 2 5G costs Rs 99,999 in Pakistan on Tecno's own Pakistan product list, in one variant of 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage, in Mystic Purple, Melting Silver or Storm Titanium. For that you get a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED screen at 144 Hz, a MediaTek Dimensity 7100 5G chip, an 8,000 mAh battery with 45 W charging, a 50 MP main camera, NFC, an infrared remote and IP64 dust and splash resistance, in a 7.42 mm, 195 g body.

We read the POVA Curve 2 5G product page and the phone list on Tecno's Pakistan site on 19 October 2026. The list puts the phone under a New Product heading with five others, and the product page carries the full specification sheet. Tecno does not print a launch date, so we do not give one. Here is what the sheet says, what the Rs 99,999 buys against Tecno's own Camon and Spark phones, and what to check in the shop.

Tecno lists one variant at Rs 99,999 and three colours

There is no 128 GB or 12 GB model on Tecno's Pakistan page. The single 8 GB plus 256 GB variant can add up to 8 GB of virtual RAM from storage, which Tecno markets as 16 GB. Virtual RAM is slower than real RAM and helps with app switching, not with speed, so treat the phone as an 8 GB device.

Tecno's page quotes battery life figures of 3 days of mixed use, 103.4 hours of music, 65 hours of WhatsApp, 33.8 hours of navigation and 18.8 hours of gaming. These are Tecno's lab numbers. The page's charge-time fields for 30 and 50 per cent show 0 minutes, which is a display error, so we do not quote a charging time.

An 8,000 mAh battery in a 7.42 mm phone is the unusual part

Big batteries usually mean thick phones. Tecno's sheet claims 8,000 mAh at 7.42 mm and 195 g, which is thinner than many 5,000 mAh phones. If that holds in the hand, it is the main reason to pick this over the Camon 50 at the same price. The 45 W charger is quick for a cell this size, and the 10 W reverse charging turns it into a power bank for earbuds or a second phone.

Bypass Charge 2.0 runs the phone from the charger during gaming so the cell stays cool. That matters more in a Pakistani summer than it sounds. The page also promises 3 days of mixed use, which, for a phone that stays off the charger through load shedding, is the practical number.

Check the charger in the box. Tecno's page lists 45 W support but does not say what charger ships. The rules for spotting a fake or underpowered charger are in checking if a phone charger or cable is fake.

At Rs 99,999 it matches the Camon 50 and undercuts the Camon 50 Pro by Rs 10,000

On the same Tecno Pakistan list, the Camon 50 is Rs 99,999, the Camon 50 Pro is Rs 109,999, the Camon 50 Ultra 5G is Rs 119,999, the Spark 50 Pro is Rs 74,999 and the Spark 50 is Rs 60,999. The POVA Curve 2 5G sits at the Camon 50's price with a bigger battery and a curved 144 Hz screen, while the Camon line puts its money into cameras.

So the choice inside Tecno's range is simple. Battery and screen: POVA Curve 2 5G. Cameras: Camon 50 Pro or Ultra. Budget: Spark 50. The older POVA 8 figures are in the Tecno POVA 8 price in Pakistan if you want to see what moved.

Against the rest of the market, the Y500 from vivo is also Rs 99,999 with an 8,100 mAh battery and IP68, but a plainer flat screen. The 5G options at this price and below are listed in the cheapest 5G phones in Pakistan.

5G works on it, but only where a network has switched 5G on

The Dimensity 7100 is a 5G chip and the phone is sold as 5G. 5G is live in parts of Islamabad and the provincial capitals on some operators, and a 5G phone falls back to 4G everywhere else. Do not pay more for 5G if you live outside those areas, and check the bands match the networks before you buy a grey import.

1. Check the box seal and that the box IMEI matches the phone's IMEI in Settings.
2. Send the IMEI to 8484 and wait for the compliant reply. A phone from Tecno's authorised shops is PTA approved; a grey import is not.
3. Confirm the variant is 8 GB plus 256 GB, the only one Tecno lists, and the colour is one of the three.
4. Insert your SIM and test 5G if your area has it. The method is in checking if your phone supports 5G in Pakistan.
5. Take the invoice with the IMEI on it for the warranty.

Where Tecno's sheet is quiet

The page does not name the Android version it ships with, only that it will get two version updates and three years of security patches. It does not give the ultrawide camera, because there is none; the second rear lens is a 2 MP macro. It does not print the launch date, the charger in the box, or the weight of the retail package.

IP64 is splash resistance, not immersion. Rain is fine, a dropped phone in a bucket is not. The Camon 50 Ultra and vivo's Y500 carry higher ratings at similar money, so weigh that if the phone will live outdoors.
