UBL now pays 10.50% a year on individual savings balances up to Rs 10 million, up from 10.00% in October, on its Projected Rate Sheet for November 2026. The new savings rate applies for all of November. UBL also raised its Profit Certificate of Deposit rates for 3 to 10 years from 5 November, while its 1 year term deposits stay at 8.75% to 9.50%.
UBL posted the sheet on 4 November 2026. We compared it line by line with the October sheet. Below is every rupee account, every term product, the dollar rates, and what changed.
UBL savings accounts pay 10.50% in November 2026
Every UBL rupee savings account for individuals pays 10.50% on balances up to Rs 10 million in November 2026. That covers the UBL Savings, Asaan, Mahana Aamdani, UniSaver, Urooj, Zindagi, Pensioner and First Minor accounts. Above Rs 10 million, the rate drops to 8.00% or 8.50%.
| Account | Up to Rs 10 million | Rs 10m to Rs 100m | Above Rs 100m | Profit paid |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| UBL Savings, Asaan Savings, Sohni Dharti, RDA | 10.50% | 8.00% | 8.50% | Every 6 months |
| UBL Mahana Aamdani Savings | 10.50% | 8.00% | 8.50% | Monthly |
| UBL Rupee UniSaver and UniSaver Plus | 10.50% | 8.00% | 8.50% | 6 months or monthly |
| UBL Urooj Saving and Rupee UniFlex | 10.50% | 8.00% | 8.50% | Monthly |
| UBL Zindagi Account | 10.50% | 8.50% | 8.50% | Monthly |
| UBL Pensioner Saving Account | 10.50% | 8.50% | 8.50% | Every 6 months |
| UBL First Minor Savings | 10.50% | Not listed | Not listed | Monthly |

The tiers depend on your monthly average balance, not on your balance on one day. Companies and other non-individuals get 8.00% up to Rs 50 million and 9.00% above that. The UBL Investment Account is listed for non-individuals only, at the same 8.00% and 9.00%.
The 0.50 point rise follows the State Bank of Pakistan's policy rate move to 12% from 27 October. The State Bank links the minimum savings rate to its corridor floor, which is why several banks moved to 10.50% from 1 November. Others are listed in the November savings rate rise.
UBL raised long certificate of deposit rates from 5 November
UBL's Profit Certificate of Deposit (COD) with profit at maturity now pays 8.00% for 3 years, 7.00% for 5 years and 5.50% for 10 years, on simple rates effective 5 November 2026. In October these were 7.50%, 6.75% and 5.00%. Rates for 3 months to 2 years did not change.
| COD at maturity | Simple rate, from 5 Nov | Effective rate | Simple rate in October |
|---|---|---|---|
| 3 months | 9.00% | 9.07% | 9.00% |
| 6 months | 9.00% | 9.17% | 9.00% |
| 1 year | 9.00% | 9.38% | 9.00% |
| 2 years | 8.50% | 9.23% | 8.50% |
| 3 years | 8.00% | 9.01% | 7.50% |
| 4 years | 8.00% | 9.39% | 7.50% |
| 5 years | 7.00% | 8.35% | 6.75% |
| 6 years | 7.00% | 8.67% | 6.50% |
| 7 years | 6.50% | 8.20% | 6.25% |
| 8 years | 6.25% | 8.09% | 6.00% |
| 9 years | 6.00% | 7.93% | 5.75% |
| 10 years | 5.50% | 7.31% | 5.00% |

UBL's sheet says profit on the at-maturity COD is worked out on the effective annualised rate, and the monthly options on the simple rate. The rate you get is the one on the day you book the certificate, so a COD booked in October keeps its October rate.
The COD with monthly profit did not change. It pays 9.50% for 1 and 2 years, 8.50% for 3 and 4 years, 8.00% for 5 to 9 years and 7.00% for 10 years.
UBL Mahana Aamdani and regular term deposit rates did not change
UBL Mahana Aamdani Term Deposit pays monthly profit of 9.00% for 3 months, 9.25% for 6 months and 9.50% for 1 year. The regular rupee term deposit pays 9.00% for 1 month and 8.75% from 2 months to 1 year. Both are the same as in October.
| Product | 3 months | 6 months | 1 year | 3 years | 5 years |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Mahana Aamdani Term Deposit, monthly profit | 9.00% | 9.25% | 9.50% | 8.50% | 8.00% |
| Regular Term Deposit Receipt, floating | 8.75% | 8.75% | 8.75% | 7.75% | 7.00% |
| COD, monthly profit | Not offered | Not offered | 9.50% | 8.50% | 8.00% |
Mahana Aamdani also pays 7.00% for 10 years. The regular term deposit pays 7.75% for 2 years and 7.00% from 4 to 10 years. UBL describes it as a floating rate product that follows money market conditions. The Special Notice Deposit Receipt pays 8.50% for 7 to 29 days and 9.00% for 30 days and above.
As a worked example, Rs 10 lakh in Mahana Aamdani for 1 year at 9.50% earns about Rs 7,917 a month before tax. The same amount in a savings account at 10.50% earns about Rs 8,750 a month before tax, but that rate can change every month. Those figures are our arithmetic on UBL's rates.
UBL dollar accounts pay 0.05% to 3.00%
UBL's dollar savings account pays 0.05% below US$100,000 and 0.10% at or above it. Dollar term deposits pay 2.25% below US$50,000 for 3, 6 or 12 months. At US$50,000 or more they pay 2.50% for 3 months, 2.75% for 6 months and 3.00% for 1 year.
The UBL FCY UniFlex account pays from 1.25% on dollar balances up to 5,000 to 2.50% above 100,000. It has limits on withdrawals under its own terms. Dollar current accounts pay nothing. The foreign currency rates on the November sheet match October's. Profit on Roshan Digital Accounts at several banks is compared in the Roshan Digital Account rates for November.
How to get the UBL rate you want
Pick the product by when you need the money and how you want profit paid. Then book it while the rate suits you, because term rates lock on the booking day but savings rates change every month.
- Decide if you need monthly income or a lump sum at the end.
- For monthly income, compare Mahana Aamdani Savings at 10.50% with Mahana Aamdani Term Deposit at 9.50% for 1 year.
- Keep savings under Rs 10 million in one account to stay on the 10.50% tier.
- Ask the branch or the app for the rate on the day you book, and the early exit rule.
- Check your schedule of charges for account fees before you move money.

UBL's fees are in the UBL schedule of charges. If you plan to manage the account on your phone, see UBL Digital app registration.
