How to Verify Your AdSense PIN in Pakistan: 4 Month Limit and What to Do If It Is Lost

Google AdSense mails a 6-digit PIN to your payments address, usually in about three weeks. You have 4 months from the day it is generated to enter it. Enter it wrongly 3 times and your ads stop. If it has not arrived after three weeks, request a replacement PIN.

Your channel or website has finally earned enough, and then nothing happens. The money sits there. The reason is often a small envelope that has not arrived at your door in Lahore, Multan or a village without a clear street address. We read Google's AdSense PIN page on 15 October 2026. Know when Google sends the PIN

Google sends the PIN once your earnings reach the verification threshold. If Google asked you to verify your identity, the PIN is sent only after that step is done. The page does not state an amount for the threshold.

Some sources, including our earlier piece on AdSense payments in Pakistan, mention about 10 dollars as the PIN trigger. Google's PIN page, which we read on 15 October 2026, says only "the verification threshold", with no number. Treat any figure as reported, and watch your own account for the PIN notice.

The PIN goes to your payments address. That is the address you typed during setup, so it matters that it is complete and correct. A short or vague address is the most common reason a posted PIN fails to reach a Pakistani home.

Wait about three weeks and expect no tracking number

Google says the PIN mail usually takes about three weeks. There is no tracking number, so the payments address must be able to receive standard mail. Plan for this before you reach the threshold, not after.

Ask your family, shop or building watchman to keep an eye out for an envelope from Google. A plain letter is easy to throw away by mistake. If your home has no door number, add a nearby landmark to the address when you set it up, as long as the field allows it.

Do not request a replacement in week one. Google's own timeline says to wait three weeks first. Asking early only starts a second clock and makes it harder to know which PIN is valid.

Enter the PIN at once and avoid three wrong tries

When the PIN arrives, enter it in your AdSense account right away. Google warns that if you enter it incorrectly 3 times, your account will stop showing ads. Read the digits carefully, and compare each with the letter before you type.

1. Watch your AdSense account for the PIN notice after you reach the threshold.
2. Wait about three weeks for the mail.
3. When it arrives, find the 6-digit number.
4. Enter it in AdSense straight away.
5. Check that the verification status changes.

Request a replacement if the PIN does not arrive

If the PIN has not arrived after three weeks, you can request a replacement. If the fourth replacement has not arrived after another three weeks, Google points you to the PIN troubleshooter. Before asking again, check that your address is correct.

Count the weeks and write the dates. Each replacement means another three weeks, so a careless address can cost months. And remember that the 4 month clock is running throughout.

Finish within four months or your ads stop

Google gives you 4 months from the date the PIN is generated to complete address verification. After that, ads stop showing on your account. Some guides say six months, but Google's current page says four.

If your address was linked to fraud, change to a new valid address that differs from the old one. Then open Payments, select Verification check and click Resend PIN. After verification, money still has to be paid out and declared. Google's page does not state a payment threshold amount either. It says only that payment needs your earnings to reach the minimum balance, no holds on the account, and compliance with AdSense policies.
