YouTube Super Chat, Super Thanks and Memberships in Pakistan: Not Available, Every List Checked
Super Chat, Super Thanks and memberships are not open to creators in Pakistan, though the Partner Program is. See each YouTube list, the rules and what pays.
YouTube Super Chat, Super Stickers, Super Thanks and channel memberships are not available to creators in Pakistan. YouTube lists 99 locations for Super Chat and Super Thanks and 100 for memberships, and Pakistan is on none of them, even though it is one of 138 places where the YouTube Partner Program itself is open. So a Pakistani channel can earn from ads and YouTube Premium, but not from viewer payments. Below are the lists, the rules and what Pakistani channels can switch on today.
Pakistani streamers often see Indian creators taking Super Chats and assume a setting is missing on their own channel. It is not a setting. We read YouTube's help centre on 24 October 2026 and checked every list.
Pakistan is on the YouTube Partner Program list, not the fan funding lists
YouTube's Partner Program is open in 138 places, including Pakistan, India and Bangladesh. The fan funding features are different. Super Chat, Super Thanks and memberships each have their own list of about 100 locations, and Pakistan is missing from all three.
We counted the names on each YouTube page ourselves:

The pages are YouTube Partner Program availability and Super Chat and Super Stickers availability, plus the matching pages for Super Thanks and memberships. Each fan funding page says you must live in one of the listed locations.
YouTube says local legal rules decide each feature's countries
YouTube says each feature has its own eligibility rules on top of subscriber and view targets, and that the most important reason is meeting legal requirements in every area where a feature runs. It does not name the rule that keeps Pakistan out.
That line is on YouTube's page How to earn money on YouTube. YouTube does not say why Pakistan in particular is missing, and we will not guess. What matters for a creator is that no channel setting, agency or VPN changes where you live.
The fan funding features also need you to accept the Commerce Product Module, a contract add-on, and to be 18 or older. Even in eligible countries, videos that are age-restricted, unlisted, private or made for kids cannot take Super Chat.
Memberships would need 500 subscribers and 3,000 watch hours
Where memberships are open, YouTube asks for 500 subscribers, three public uploads in 90 days, and either 3,000 qualified watch hours on long videos in 365 days or 3 million Shorts views in 90 days. You must be 18 or older.
Here is how the thresholds compare across features on YouTube's page:
- Channel memberships: 500 subscribers, 3 uploads in 90 days, 3,000 watch hours or 3 million Shorts views. Not open in Pakistan.
- Super Chat and Super Stickers: 18 or older, a listed country, the Commerce Product Module. Not open in Pakistan.
- Super Thanks: the same, plus the channel must not be a music channel under an SRAV contract. Not open in Pakistan.
- Ad revenue: 1,000 subscribers and 4,000 watch hours in 365 days or 10 million Shorts views in 90 days. Open in Pakistan.
- YouTube Premium revenue: accept the contract modules. Open with the Partner Program.

Pakistani channels earn from ads and Premium, then get paid through AdSense
A Pakistani channel in the Partner Program earns from ads on long videos and Shorts and from YouTube Premium viewers. That money reaches you through AdSense for YouTube, which lists wire transfer and cheque, not direct bank deposit, as the payment options for Pakistan.

- Join the Partner Program when your channel meets the ad thresholds.
- Link an AdSense for YouTube account in your real name.
- Turn on ads for your long videos and Shorts.
- Check the Earn tab in YouTube Studio for any new feature YouTube offers your channel.
- Keep your payment and tax details up to date in AdSense.
Nobody can unlock Super Chat for a Pakistani channel
Because eligibility depends on where you live, an agency offering to turn on Super Chat or memberships for a fee cannot deliver it. YouTube requires you to live in a listed location, so changing a channel's country setting does not make you eligible.
Requests to hand over your channel login so someone can "activate monetization" are a common route to hacked channels in Pakistan.
