Zong Oman Calling Bundles in Pakistan: Rs 100 Daily to Rs 875 Monthly on *6626#
Zong Oman bundles on *6626# give 5 minutes for Rs 100, 25 for Rs 450 or 50 for Rs 875 plus tax. See the cost per minute and the rules before you subscribe.

To call Oman from a Zong SIM, dial *6626# and choose a bundle: Rs 100 plus tax for 5 minutes a day, Rs 450 for 25 minutes a week, or Rs 875 for 50 minutes a month. The monthly bundle is the cheapest per minute at about Rs 17.50, but Oman calls are still dear compared with other Gulf routes.
Thousands of Pakistani workers in Muscat, Sohar and Salalah ring home every week, and many families call back. We read Zong's IDD Oman bundle page on 21 October 2026. All prices below are plus tax, as Zong lists them.
Zong has three prepaid Oman bundles and one postpaid bundle
Prepaid customers can pick a daily, weekly or monthly bundle. Postpaid customers get the monthly bundle only. One code does the work for subscribing and for unsubscribing: *6626#.
| Bundle | SIM type | Price (+ tax) | Minutes | Cost per minute |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Oman Daily | Prepaid | Rs 100 | 5 | Rs 20.00 |
| Oman Weekly | Prepaid | Rs 450 | 25 | Rs 18.00 |
| Oman Monthly | Prepaid | Rs 875 | 50 | Rs 17.50 |
| Oman Monthly | Postpaid | Rs 875 | 50 | Rs 17.50 |
The cost per minute is our arithmetic, price divided by minutes before tax. The gap between the daily and monthly bundle is small: Rs 20 against Rs 17.50 a minute. That is a very different picture from the Malaysia or USA bundles, where the large bundle is far cheaper.

A bundle saves little on Oman, so buy only the minutes you will use
The monthly bundle saves only about 12 per cent per minute against the daily one. So the real risk is buying a big bundle you will not finish. Fifty minutes is a lot of talk for most homes, but 5 minutes a day is too little for a family call.
A worked example: a 20 minute call each Friday, four Fridays a month, is 80 minutes. That needs the Rs 875 bundle plus about 30 minutes at the normal rate. A short check-in of 5 minutes a week fits the weekly bundle of 25 minutes, with room to spare, at Rs 450.
For long calls, an internet call over WhatsApp costs only data. Many families use the bundle for the elder who has no smartphone and apps for everyone else.

The bundle works on Oman numbers only and minutes do not roll over
Zong says bundle minutes are used only on landline and mobile numbers of Oman. After the minutes are used, standard charges apply. Calls to other countries are charged at the destination base tariff.
Remaining minutes are not added to the next bundle for Oman. So do not subscribe a second time while minutes remain. The offer's page does not mention roaming, so if you are travelling, check your rate before you call.
How to subscribe and stop
Use *6626# to start the bundle and the same code to end it. Dial from the Zong number that will make the calls, read the price in the reply, and keep the confirmation SMS in case of a dispute.
- Work out how many minutes you really talk in a month.
- Dial *6626# from your Zong number.
- Choose daily, weekly or monthly in the menu.
- Check the price in the reply and keep the SMS.
- Dial Oman with the country code, +968.
- Dial *6626# again to unsubscribe.

We did not test the menu, so the options on your phone may be in a different order. The codes in the Zong unsubscribe code list help if a charge repeats after you stopped, and the Zong balance check steps show what the bundle took from your account.
If you work in Oman, check the job side too
Anyone planning a move to Muscat should read the rules in the Oman work visa guide for Pakistanis before signing a contract. For another Gulf route, Zong sells a Saudi Arabia calling bundle that is much cheaper per minute.
Keep the SMS and check your balance after you subscribe
After any bundle, look at your balance and the confirmation message. If the amount taken is higher than the price on this page, the difference may be tax, which Zong adds on top. Keep the message for 30 days. If you see a second charge you did not expect, call 310 and quote the date and time of the SMS. This is the best proof if you ask Zong to review a charge.

How we verified this
What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.
Last checked 21 October 2026. Prices, minutes, the *6626# code and the terms come from Zong's IDD Oman bundle page at zong.com.pk, which we read on 21 October 2026. Cost per minute and the worked examples are our own arithmetic. We did not subscribe or place a call. The page does not state the tax rate or the validity in days, and does not say how the offer behaves on roaming. Zong can change offers, so confirm the price on your phone.
