BIEK Inter Part 2 Result 2026: Pass Percentage of Every Group, Karachi

We downloaded the five largest Part II gazettes from the board's results page on 8 November 2026 and read the statistics page in each one. Across those five groups, 95,142 students sat the exam and 53,225 passed. That is about 56 per cent, so close to one student in two in Karachi needs either a supplementary paper or an improvement attempt.

Below are the result dates, the pass rate for each group, the boys and girls split, how many got A-1, and how to find your own marks.

BIEK inter Part 2 result 2026 dates for every group

BIEK declared the Part II results group by group between 31 July and 14 September 2026. Pre-Medical, Humanities Private, Home Economics and special candidates came first on 31 July. Commerce Regular and Commerce Private came last on 14 September.

The theory papers started on 29 April 2026 and ended on 8 June, according to the Pre-Medical gazette. Practicals ran to 16 July. The Part I (11th class) results came later, in October, and are covered in our BIEK 11th class result guide.

Pass percentage by group, from the BIEK gazettes

Pre-Medical passed 61.43 per cent of 23,007 students. Science General passed 56.54 per cent, Commerce Regular 55.36, Pre-Engineering 55.08 and Humanities Regular 45.25. Commerce Regular was the biggest group, with 25,528 students.

The A-1 gap is large. Nearly 1 in 10 Pre-Medical students got A-1, which means 80 per cent or more. In Commerce Regular it was fewer than 1 in 100, and in Humanities Regular only 20 students out of 10,002.

Girls passed at a higher rate in four of five groups

Girls passed at a higher rate than boys in Pre-Medical, Science General, Commerce and Humanities. Pre-Engineering was the exception, where boys were one point ahead. The widest gap was in Pre-Medical: 65.3 per cent of girls passed against 45.8 per cent of boys.

These rates are our own sums from the passed and appeared numbers in each gazette. The gazettes print boys and girls percentages as a share of all students, which is why they look much lower. Girls were also the large majority in Pre-Medical, with 18,479 of the 23,007 students.

How to check your BIEK 12th class result by roll number

BIEK publishes each group's result as one PDF gazette on its results page. Open your group's file and search for your roll number. Marks certificates go to colleges, which the gazette says happens within two weeks of the result.

1. Open biek.edu.pk and choose "Recent Result Declaration" from the menu.
2. Under the Part II list, tap your group, for example Science Pre-Medical Part-II (31-07-2026).
3. Wait for the PDF to load. The files are large, from about 3.6 MB to 7 MB.
4. Use Find (Ctrl+F on a computer, or "Find in page" on a phone) and type your roll number.
5. Read your marks and grade, then collect your marks certificate from your college.

The gazette is a provisional notice. The board says errors are possible and the original record decides. BIEK grading formula and the 40 per cent pass mark notice

The Part II gazettes grade on the old scale. A-1 is 80 per cent and above, A is 70 to 79.99, B is 60 to 69.99, C is 50 to 59.99, D is 40 to 49.99 and E is 33 to 39.99. Below 33 per cent is a fail.

BIEK's notifications page also lists a notice dated 28 January 2026 on a new grading scheme that raises passing marks from 33 to 40 per cent "with effect from 1st Annual 2026". The Part II gazettes we read still print the 33 per cent scale. So the two sources do not match on the page, and the board has not explained which students the new pass mark covers. Ask your college before you assume a 35 per cent mark is a pass.
