If your child passed Class 9 from another board and now studies at a school under BISE Gujranwala, the school can register them for the 10th class First Annual Exam 2027 for a fee of Rs 2,050. The school does it on its portal under "Other Board Feeding 10th", then sends the paid challan and the original NOC from the old board to Gujranwala's Registration branch.

This route is for regular students, those enrolled at a school. The board set it out in its letter No. 474 of the Registration branch, dated 28 October 2026. We read the Urdu letter on bisegrw.edu.pk. It names no last date, so do not wait for one.

The most common case is a family that moved cities during the summer. The child sat Class 9 at, say, BISE Lahore or Rawalpindi, and has now joined a school in Gujranwala, Sialkot, Gujrat, Hafizabad, Mandi Bahauddin or Narowal.

The fee is Rs 2,050 per student

The letter sets a separate registration fee of Rs 2,050 for each candidate who comes from another board. The challan is generated from the board's website using the "Other Manually" option, and paid at the bank. It is separate from the exam admission fee paid later.

Your school does the registration on its portal

Parents do not apply on their own. The school logs in to its institution portal, opens the 9th Registration (2026-2028) menu and chooses "Other Board Feeding 10th". The same menu shows "Other Board 10th Submitted Applications", where the school can track what it has sent.

  1. The school enters the student's details under Other Board Feeding 10th on its portal.
  2. It downloads the Rs 2,050 challan through the "Other Manually" option on the board website and pays it at the bank.
  3. It prepares a letter on school letter pad giving the printed form number and the student's details.
  4. It sends the paid bank challan, the original NOC and that letter to the board's Registration branch.
  5. The board checks the student's eligibility and then uploads the admission form to the school's portal.

Step 5 is the one that decides whether the student can sit the exam. Until the board has checked the papers, the admission form does not appear. That is why the original NOC matters so much.

Five steps for a school to register a student from another board for BISE Gujranwala 10th class

Get the NOC from the old board first

NOC means No Objection Certificate. Here it is the old board's permission for the student to move, usually issued as a migration certificate. Gujranwala asks for the original, not a copy.

So the first job for parents is with the board where the child sat Class 9, not with Gujranwala. Each board has its own form, fee and processing time. Our guide on migration certificates from every board lists the fee and route for each BISE. For Rawalpindi, the portals are in our page on BISE Rawalpindi online services.

Biometric and other Gujranwala deadlines

Gujranwala is also chasing schools on biometric records this month. In a separate last reminder of 3 November 2026, it told schools to finish the live picture and biometric of Class 9 students of session 2026-28 by 30 November, or their admission forms will not be uploaded. Details are in our report on the BISE Gujranwala biometric deadline.

The other-board letter does not mention biometric for incoming 10th class students. Ask the school whether the board expects a live picture for your child too, so that the admission form is not held up later.

Other Gujranwala board fees, such as duplicate documents and corrections, changed this autumn. They are listed in our page on revised BISE Gujranwala fees.
