Solar panels on a flat rooftop in Faisalabad under a clear winter sky

FESCO's net metering lists, dated 15 October 2026, name about 40,000 solar connections across its six circles, by our count. Faisalabad Circle I has the most, about 16,000, and Mianwali the fewest, about 1,100. You can check whether your own connection is listed by searching the right circle's PDF for your reference number.

FESCO, the Faisalabad Electric Supply Company, posts the lists on its Net Metering page under the title "Consumers Availing Net Metering Facility". There is one PDF for each circle. We downloaded all six on 6 November 2026 and counted the rows ourselves. Net metering is the arrangement where a solar user exports spare units to the grid and gets credit for them on the bill.

About 40,000 FESCO connections are on the six lists

Each list is headed "Reference number wise detail of consumers availing facility of net metering". We counted the rows that carry a mobile number field, which every filled entry has. These are approximate, because the PDFs break some rows across lines.

Faisalabad city's two circles hold about 70 percent of the entries between them. That fits where rooftop solar has spread fastest, but the lists do not give dates, so they cannot show how fast it grew.

FESCO net metering entries by circle in October 2026: Faisalabad I, Faisalabad II, Sargodha, Jhang and Toba Tek Singh

What each entry shows

The column headings are the same in every circle's list.

  • Serial number and consumer ID.
  • Batch, sub-division code and consumer number, which together make the 14-digit reference number.
  • Tariff code and sanctioned load in kW.
  • Mobile number.
  • Consumer name, father's or husband's name, and address.

Some rows have no detail beyond a consumer ID. In others the mobile number is all zeros. We counted about 1,950 entries with a zero mobile number across the six lists, the most in Faisalabad Circle II.

How to check if your connection is listed

The PDFs are large, so search them rather than scroll.

  1. Open fesco.com.pk, then e-Services, then Net Metering.
  2. Pick your circle from the six "Consumers Availing Net Metering Facility" files.
  3. Open the PDF and use your browser's find tool.
  4. Search for the last 7 digits of your reference number, the consumer number.
  5. Confirm the batch and sub-division code in the same row match your bill.

Your reference number is on your bill. If you do not have it, our FESCO bill check guide shows where to find it. If your connection is approved but missing, ask your sub-division why, and keep your approval papers ready. Our guide to the net metering application status covers checking a pending case.

Five steps to find your connection in FESCO's net metering list

Your mobile number and address are public on these lists

The lists print each consumer's name, father's or husband's name, mobile number and address next to the reference number. Anyone can download them. That has two practical effects for solar users.

First, expect calls from people who know you have solar. Some will be installers selling services. Some may pretend to be FESCO staff and ask for money to "fix" your export units. FESCO's own helpline is 118. Do not pay anyone who calls you first, and check any claim with your sub-division. Our page on protecting your CNIC from misuse has more on guarding personal details.

Second, if your number has changed, the list may show an old one. Our guide to changing the mobile number on an electricity bill explains how to update it, so that FESCO's messages reach you.

The installer lists are made under the AEDB (Certification) Regulations, 2021. AEDB is the Alternative Energy Development Board. Category C-1 covers systems up to and above 500 kW. Use an installer from these lists, because your application needs an inspection certificate from the installer.

The rules on credit for exported units now come from NEPRA's Prosumer Regulations. Our guide to net metering rules in 2026 explains them, and our page on a faulty net meter covers lost export credit.

We downloaded the six circle lists, the installer list C-1 and the application documents file from FESCO's Net Metering page on 6 November 2026 and counted entries with a text tool. The counts are ours and approximate. We have not named any consumer. We did not check whether every listed connection is still active.
