Download Your FPSC Admission Certificate: Phase 3 Tests Run 12 to 19 October
Download your FPSC admission certificate for GR Phase 3 with your CNIC. Tests run 12 to 19 October in 13 cities. See timings, what to bring and centre rules.

FPSC has put the admission certificates for General Recruitment (GR) Phase 3 of 2026 online. Go to cp.fpsc.gov.pk, enter your CNIC number, and print the certificate. The tests run from 12 to 19 October 2026 in 13 cities. Take the printout and your original CNIC or passport.
The admission certificate is FPSC's name for what most people call a roll number slip. It shows your roll number, the test centre, the date and the time. Without it, you will not get into the hall. We read FPSC's public notice of 29 September 2026, the Phase 3 timetable, the download page itself and the Commission's General Instructions updated on 12 August 2026.

Download the FPSC admission certificate with your CNIC
The download takes about a minute. You need only your CNIC number. FPSC does not post the certificate to you, and it does not email the file. It sends an SMS or email saying the certificates are online, and then you download it yourself.
- Open the official page. Go to fpsc.gov.pk, open the Schedule menu and choose Admission Certificates. Then click "Online Admission Certificates General Recruitment Phase III/2026". The link goes to cp.fpsc.gov.pk.
- Type your CNIC number with dashes. The form asks for it in the shape 12345-1234567-1.
- Find your case. If you applied for more than one post, you get one certificate per post. Check each one.
- Print it. A clear black and white print on A4 paper is enough. Keep a copy on your phone too, but the phone stays outside the hall.
- Read the date, time and centre twice. Then match the date against the timetable PDF on the same FPSC page.

The General Instructions say it plainly: candidates are "themselves responsible" to download their certificates in time. So do not wait for a letter. If your name is not found, check you are on the Phase 3 link and not an older phase. Then call FPSC.
FPSC Phase 3 test dates and cities for October 2026
FPSC's notice of 29 September 2026 says the GR Phase 3 tests run from 12 to 19 October 2026. The CSS MPT 2027 comes first, on 10 October. GR tests are held in 13 cities, listed below.
| Item | What FPSC says |
|---|---|
| GR Phase 3 tests | 12 to 19 October 2026 |
| CSS MPT 2027 | 10 October 2026 |
| GR test cities | D.I. Khan, Gilgit, Gujranwala, Hyderabad, Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, Multan, Peshawar, Quetta, Rawalpindi, Skardu, Sukkur |
| Morning paper | 10:00 am to 11:40 am |
| Afternoon paper | 2:00 pm, ending 3:40 pm or 5:20 pm |
| Help | 051-9212427 and UAN 051-111-000-248, office hours |
The paper length depends on the grade. Under FPSC's rules, BS-16 and BS-17 posts sit one 100-mark MCQ paper of 100 minutes. BS-18 and above sit a 200-mark paper of 200 minutes. That is why some afternoon papers end at 5:20 pm. Each wrong answer costs 0.25 marks, so guessing has a price.
Some cases were taken out of Phase 3. The notice lists them by case number. If your case is on that list, it will not be tested this month. Check the case number on your application against the notice.
If you are also sitting the CSS MPT, read about the MPT on 10 October too, since it uses a different set of 19 cities.
Reach the exam hall 45 minutes early
FPSC asks you to be at the exam hall 45 minutes before the paper starts. The doors close 15 minutes before the start. After that, no one is let in, for any reason. This rule has no exceptions in the instructions.
FPSC is careful about one word here. The "hall" is the room with your desk, not the campus gate. A queue at the main gate does not count. So for a 10:00 am paper, be in the room by 9:15 am. The door shuts at 9:45 am. For a 2:00 pm paper, that means 1:15 pm and 1:45 pm.
Large test centres have long security lines. Plan to reach the gate at least an hour before the paper.

Take these things to the FPSC test centre
Bring the printed admission certificate and your original CNIC or passport. Without both, FPSC treats you as absent. Bring a black ball pen and, if you like, a clipboard. Leave your phone at home.
- Allowed: admission certificate, original CNIC or passport, black ball pen, clipboard.
- Not allowed: pointer, ink pen or gel pen on the OMR sheet. These are banned outright.
- Calculator: only if the syllabus for your post says so. Check your post's syllabus on fpsc.gov.pk.
- Dress: "proper dress". Shorts are not allowed.
The phone rule is the one that ends careers. A candidate caught with a phone or any communication device is expelled, the paper is cancelled and the CNIC goes on FPSC's block list. That means a permanent ban from every future FPSC test. A phone switched off in your pocket still counts.

FPSC pays no travel or daily allowance for the test. Disabled candidates who asked for a writer in the application form get one. Blind candidates get 15 extra minutes per hour.
Changing the FPSC test centre is almost never allowed
Centre changes are accepted only within 10 days after the closing date of the advertisement. After certificates are issued, only an emergency request to the Secretary FPSC, with proof, is considered. The download page itself says no change of centre will be entertained.
So treat the centre on your certificate as final. If you have a real emergency, such as a hospital stay, write to the Secretary FPSC by designation, not by name, and attach proof. The Secretary's decision is final.
A clash is different. If two of your posts have tests at the same date and time, FPSC tells you to contact its Islamabad office or the nearest provincial or regional office straight away. Do not wait until the test day.
Sitting the test does not mean you are eligible
FPSC admits every candidate provisionally. Your age, degree, experience and domicile are checked only after the test. If you were not eligible on the closing date, you are rejected even after passing.
So read the advertisement again before you travel. Your degree result must have been announced by the closing date. Your age is counted on the closing date too. Your domicile must be your own, not your father's or husband's. If you need one, the steps to apply for a domicile certificate take time, so start now if you pass.
Results come later on fpsc.gov.pk, first as a list of pass and fail candidates in merit order, without marks. Those who pass are called for document checks and an interview. The same steps as when you applied online apply: keep your CNIC valid and your contact number working, because FPSC sends its calls by SMS.
Common questions
Where do I download my FPSC roll number slip?
On fpsc.gov.pk, under Schedule, then Admission Certificates. The Phase 3 link opens a form on cp.fpsc.gov.pk where you type your CNIC number.
Will FPSC send the admission certificate by post?
No. FPSC puts it online and sends an SMS or email to say so. You must download and print it yourself.
When are the FPSC GR Phase 3 tests in 2026?
From 12 to 19 October 2026, according to FPSC's public notice of 29 September 2026. Your own date and time are on your certificate.
Can I enter the hall if I arrive 10 minutes before the paper?
No. The doors close 15 minutes before the paper starts. After that, FPSC lets no one in under any circumstances.
Can I take my phone to the FPSC test?
No. Having a phone or any communication device in the hall means disqualification and a permanent ban from FPSC tests.
Who do I call if my certificate is not showing?
Call FPSC on 051-9212427 or UAN 051-111-000-248 during office hours, or email fpsc@fpsc.gov.pk.
How we verified this
What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.
Last checked on 2 October 2026. We read FPSC's public notice F.1/4/2026-T&S-Coord dated 29 September 2026 on the conduct of tests, the GR Phase 3 timetable PDF, and the FPSC General Instructions updated on 12 August 2026. We opened the online admission certificate page at cp.fpsc.gov.pk and read the instructions printed on it. We did not download a certificate, since that needs a registered candidate's CNIC. Test dates can change; FPSC says any change will be posted on its website.
