The gold rate in Pakistan on Saturday 10 October 2026 is Rs 442,036 per tola for 24 karat and Rs 378,974 per 10 grams. The All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association raised the rate by Rs 1,100 a tola, the third rise in a row.
Saturday's move is small next to Friday's Rs 5,900 jump. It followed an 11 dollar rise in the international ounce price, to about 4,195 dollars. Silver also edged up, by Rs 43 to Rs 6,555 a tola.
We could not read the rate at source. The association has no website we could find, so every rate below is its figure as reported on 10 October. Saturday's session has ended. These are the rates shops will quote until the next session, which is normally on Monday.
The gold rate in Pakistan is Rs 442,036 a tola on 10 October
Gold is Rs 442,036 per tola and Rs 378,974 per 10 grams for 24 karat, the association rate reported for 10 October 2026. Silver is Rs 6,555 a tola. International gold was reported at about 4,195 dollars an ounce. All four rose on the day.

| Rate | Set on 10 October | Basis |
|---|---|---|
| 24K gold per tola | Rs 442,036, up Rs 1,100 | Association rate, reported |
| 24K gold per 10 grams | Rs 378,974, up Rs 943 | Association rate, reported |
| 22K gold per tola | About Rs 405,200 | Our arithmetic, 22 parts in 24 |
| 21K gold per tola | About Rs 386,782 | Our arithmetic, 21 parts in 24 |
| Silver per tola | Rs 6,555, up Rs 43 | Association rate, reported |
| International gold | About 4,195 dollars an ounce, up 11 dollars | Reported |
The 22 and 21 karat figures are simple fractions of the 24 karat rate. Your jeweller's own 22 karat quote can differ by a few hundred rupees. A gram of 24 karat now works out at about Rs 37,897.

These are metal prices only. A shop adds making charges and its margin on top. The tola and karat arithmetic behind every rate list is the same one we used here.
Gold rose Rs 5,700 this week
Gold ended last Saturday, 3 October, at Rs 436,336 a tola. It ends this Saturday at Rs 442,036. That is Rs 5,700 higher over the week, about 1.3 per cent, by our arithmetic. Most of the gain came on one day.
- 3 October: Rs 436,336 a tola, the rate in our 4 October report.
- 5 October: up Rs 1,200 to Rs 437,536.
- 6 October: no change, Rs 437,536.
- 7 October: down Rs 3,100 to Rs 434,436.
- 8 October: up Rs 600 to Rs 435,036.
- 9 October: up Rs 5,900 to Rs 440,936, set out in our 9 October report.
- 10 October: up Rs 1,100 to Rs 442,036.
Three rises in a row since Wednesday add up to Rs 7,600 a tola. That is the longest run of gains this month. It still says nothing certain about Monday.

Gold is back above its 30 September rate
At Rs 442,036, gold is now Rs 400 above the 30 September rate of Rs 441,636. So October's early losses are fully undone. But the rate is still Rs 24,100 a tola below where it started September.
| Compared with | Rate then | Change to Rs 442,036 |
|---|---|---|
| 1 September 2026 | Rs 466,136 | Down Rs 24,100, about 5.2 per cent |
| 26 September | Rs 450,936 | Down Rs 8,900, about 2.0 per cent |
| 30 September | Rs 441,636 | Up Rs 400 |
| 3 October | Rs 436,336 | Up Rs 5,700 |
| 7 October | Rs 434,436 | Up Rs 7,600 |
Put simply, someone who bought gold on Wednesday is about Rs 7,600 a tola ahead on paper. Someone who bought in early September is still about Rs 24,100 behind. Those are metal values only. A seller also loses the making charge and the gap between a shop's selling and buying rate.
The ounce price, not the rupee, moved the rate
The Pakistani rate follows the international ounce price turned into rupees per tola. The ounce rose about 11 dollars on Saturday, so the tola rate rose too. The rupee figure hidden inside the rate barely moved.
A tola is 0.375 of an ounce. At 4,195 dollars an ounce, a tola of gold is worth about 1,573 dollars. Divide Rs 442,036 by that and you get about Rs 281 per dollar. That is the same figure we have found in every report since 26 September.

That Rs 281 is our own sum, not a rate you can trade at. The State Bank put the 9 October dollar rate at Rs 277.00 interbank. The local gold rate has carried roughly the same Rs 4 gap over the interbank rate for two weeks.
Weekend buyers should get the rate date in writing
Shops stay open on Sunday, but the association does not normally set a new rate that day. So a Sunday quote should match Saturday's Rs 442,036. If a shop quotes higher, ask which rate it is using and on what date.
- Note the association rate and the date it was set, here 10 October.
- Ask for the gold rate and the making charge as two separate figures.
- Check the karat stamp. 916 means 22 karat and 875 means 21 karat.
- Get the weight, karat, rate and making charge written on the bill.
- If you are selling, ask for the shop's buying rate first. It is lower than the association rate.
A written bill also matters for tax. The sales tax on gold jewellery is charged on the sale value, and the bill is your record of what you paid when you list gold in a wealth statement.

How we verified this
What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.
Last checked at about 7pm PKT on 10 October 2026, after Saturday's session. Gold rates change every session, so check the day's rate before you buy or sell.
We could not read the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association rate at source, because we found no website for it. The 10 October tola, 10 gram, silver and ounce figures are the association's figures as reported that day. The 1 September to 9 October rates are from our earlier daily reports. The 22 and 21 karat rates, the per gram rate, the weekly and monthly changes and the implied rupee per dollar figure are our own arithmetic. The interbank dollar rate is the State Bank's figure for 9 October.
