Gold bangles on green velvet in a jeweller tray, for the gold rate in Pakistan on 7 November 2026

Gold is reported at Rs 429,136 a tola for 24 karat in Pakistan going into Saturday 7 November 2026, with 10 grams at Rs 367,914. That is the rate set on Friday afternoon, Rs 6,500 a tola lower than Thursday. Saturday's own rate usually comes in the afternoon, and it had not been issued when we checked early on Saturday.

Below you will find the rate in tola, 10 grams and 1 gram, our estimates for 22, 21 and 18 karat, every daily rate we could confirm since 31 October, and what a buyer pays for common weights. All these rates are reported, not read at the source. The sarafa association that sets them has no website we could find, and we found Friday's rate in one published report only. We explain this in the last section.

Gold is Rs 429,136 a tola after falling Rs 6,500 on Friday

The 24 karat rate fell Rs 6,500 a tola and Rs 5,573 for 10 grams on Friday 6 November. It ended a two-day rise of Rs 23,500. The fall is a little over a quarter of that rise.

UnitReported rate, Friday 6 NovemberChange from Thursday
24 karat, 1 tolaRs 429,136Down Rs 6,500
24 karat, 10 gramsRs 367,914Down Rs 5,573
24 karat, 1 gramRs 36,791.40Down Rs 557.30
Silver, 1 tolaRs 5,678Down Rs 85

The gram figure is our own division of the 10 gram rate. The two 24 karat figures show which tola the market uses: 11.664 grams. The reasons gold rates differ between sources come down mostly to this tola figure and to rounding.

Gold rate in Pakistan going into 7 November 2026: Rs 429,136 a tola for 24 karat

The world gold price fell $65 to $4,066 an ounce

The international gold price was reported at $4,066 an ounce on Friday, down $65 from $4,131 on Thursday. Pakistan's rate follows that dollar price, converted at the rupee rate. The rupee itself barely moved. The State Bank's interbank rate was Rs 276.66 on 6 November, as shown in the 7 November dollar rate. So the fall in Pakistan came from the world price, not from the rupee.

The world price has moved a long way in one week. It was reported at $3,896 on Monday 2 November. That is why the local rate rose so fast on Wednesday and Thursday, and why a fall of this size on Friday is not unusual.

Gold rate per tola in Pakistan from 31 October to 6 November 2026

Every gold rate we could confirm since 31 October

We confirmed daily rates for 31 October and for 2 to 6 November. Gold fell to about Rs 409,736 on 31 October, climbed by Rs 25,900 in four sessions, then gave back Rs 6,500 on Friday.

Date24 karat per tolaDaily change
Saturday 31 OctoberRs 409,736Rs 10,800 lower
Monday 2 NovemberRs 412,136Rs 2,400 higher
Tuesday 3 NovemberRs 412,136No change
Wednesday 4 NovemberRs 426,036Rs 13,900 higher
Thursday 5 NovemberRs 435,636Rs 9,600 higher
Friday 6 NovemberRs 429,136Rs 6,500 lower

The 31 October figure is our own arithmetic, worked back from Monday's rate and its Rs 2,400 rise. The tola is now Rs 19,400 above 31 October and Rs 12,900 below the October high of Rs 442,036 on 10 October. Thursday's page is the gold rate for 5 November.

22 karat gold is about Rs 393,375 a tola by our estimate

The report we read did not give a 22 karat rate for Friday afternoon. So the table below is our own estimate, based on the share of pure gold. A jeweller's rate for 22 karat can differ by a few hundred rupees.

What a buyer pays for common weights today

At Rs 429,136 a tola, half a tola of 24 karat gold costs Rs 214,568 and a 5 gram piece costs Rs 183,957, before making charges. Somebody who bought a tola at Thursday's rate paid Rs 6,500 more. Jewellery adds a making charge and, at a registered shop, sales tax.

  1. Find the weight in tola or grams on the jeweller's scale.
  2. Multiply by the rate for the right karat, not the 24 karat rate.
  3. Add the making charge the shop quotes, per tola or per piece.
  4. Add sales tax if the shop charges it on its invoice.
  5. Ask for a written receipt that shows weight, karat and rate.

The full method is in calculating the price of gold jewellery, and the tax side in tax on buying gold. If you pay zakat on gold you hold, zakat on gold and silver shows how the rate changes your sum. Gold has moved by more than Rs 6,000 a tola in a day four times in the past week, in both directions. Nobody can tell you the next move, and we will not guess.

How we verified this

What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.

Last checked 7 November 2026 at about 04:30 PKT. The 24 karat tola and 10 gram rates, the silver rate, the changes and the international price are reported figures. We read them in one published market report of Friday afternoon that cites the sarafa market's rate list, because the association has no website we could find. We looked for a second report and did not find one, so treat the figures as reported until your jeweller confirms them. They do match Thursday's rates less the stated falls. The gram rate, the 31 October rate, the karat estimates and the weight costs are our own arithmetic. The dollar rate is from the State Bank of Pakistan's 6 November sheet.
